HELLBOUND

My fiancé pushed me off the bridge, and the last thing I saw was him kissing my sister. I gasped, choking on the freezing water, the darkness swallowing my screams. They planned it all. The accident, the stolen money, my death. "Goodbye, sister," Selene had whispered with a smirk, wearing my engagement ring. I sank deeper, rage burning in my chest, waiting for the end. But death didn't come. Instead, a voice rolled through the deep, dark water. "Not yet, Aria." I jolted awake, gasping, soaked to the bone. But I wasn't in the river. I was in a room of black marble and flickering blue flames. And standing before me was a man—no, a god—carved from shadows and sin. Hades. He stepped closer, his obsidian eyes locking onto mine with a terrifying intensity. "You should have died, Aria," he whispered, his voice vibrating against my skin. "But I won't let you go. We are soul-bound." I tried to run, but the shadows curled around my ankles like lovers. I am trapped in the Underworld, claimed by the King of the Dead, and he says I am destined to be his Queen. But I don't want a crown. I want revenge.
