Seeking Solace In His Embrace

There is a difference between an orphan and an abandoned orphan, and Madelyn understood this difference at a very young age. She became a subject of ridicule and bullying because of her status as an abandoned orphan. As a nobody, she couldn't fight her bullies. Hence, she was waiting for the day when she would be able to leave the living hell of that city while enduring all the harassment and physical hurt from her bullies, especially from Oscar Howart. Things changed when Maximum Blackwood entered her life as a knight in shining armor, making Madelyn develop a crush on him. But Oscar left her speechless when he also changed his attitude towards her. What was his game? She didn't understand, but she welcomed this new change, which was better than him hurting her almost every day. Is she too naive to believe that a bully like Oscar can change, or can Oscar really change? Does Maximus save her from falling for Oscar, or let her learn her lessons after heartbreak? Will he reciprocate her feelings for him?
