Echoes Of Fire

At the age of ten, Aria witnessed her house burn down in a winter night, her mother died at the hands of the men above. Her shirt was decorated with the Serpent Cartel symbol. Her father not only stood by and watched, but he also did not rush in to save her. The next morning, he signed the papers to sell her to human traffickers to clear his debt. Twelve years later, Aria returned to the city under a different name, Raven Hale. No one recognized her as the child who knelt down and begged in the sea of fire. No one knew that revenge crept into her heart every year, trained by the underground assassin organization. This time she returned not to live, but to bury all those who once called her a toy. But fate threw her into the arms of the most dangerous man in this city, he was the heir to the Cartel, thought to be her number one enemy, but the only one who held the key to the truth about her mother's death.
