Chapter 337 337. Olena - Thanksgiving 2
Vasiliy, still busy at the stove, rolls his eyes, used to Artemiy’s comments by now.
A smirk tugs at the corners of Artemiy’s mouth as he moves toward me like a hunter stalking his prey. When he stops in front of me, he grabs my wrists with one hand and brings them above my head, my robe falling loose.
His gaze goes to my décolleté before returning to my face. “You act all innocent while shoving your gorgeous tits into my face, begging me to suck your nipples and fuck your sweet pussy, but you also refuse to take any responsibility for seducing me with this sexy body of yours.”
“Is that all you see in her?” Vasiliy bristles. “Her body and nothing more?”
Artemiy places his free hand next to my head and leans in for a kiss. “I see more than her body,” he murmurs. “I see the woman I love, who is everything to me. I see my soulmate, my bonded, and future wife. I see a woman with whom I can talk about everything and who isn’t bothered by my jokes. I see a woman who accepts me the way I am without judging me or trying to change me.” Only to me, he says, “I see my forever.”
I smile up at him. “I love you too.”
Vasiliy claps his hands. “How about you let our future wife rest for a bit?”
I get all warm inside whenever they mention that we are going to get married soon. I might have to ask Isla for help with the wedding preparations, but most likely, we will have a small ceremony.
Under his breath, he mutters, “Artemiy and I are going to be brother-husbands. Or cousin-husbands?” He lets out a sigh. “This world is coming to an end.”
“Brother-husbands,” Artemiy repeats as he lets go of my hands. “I like the sound of that.”
Vasiliy huffs at that. “I don’t, I suppose I’m stuck with you for life.”
“Someone’s moody today,” Artemiy comments, which makes me laugh. “Well, off you go to bed. Your bondeds’ orders.”
Artemiy steps away from me, and as I head to my bedroom, he smacks my ass before groaning, “Fuck, you’re so sexy,” making me give him a heated look over my shoulder.
Once I’m in bed, I start thinking about how much not only my life has changed since I started dating them, but how much I’ve changed as well. While I still don’t like being around a lot of people, as long as I’m with one of them, I feel safe–safe enough to not be afraid of doing things, of living my life. Of discovering who I could have been if my life would have been different.
But more than that, I don’t ever remember being this happy. There are moments when I’m scared that all of this will come to an end and that I’ll be left heartbroken, but then they always reassure me, even if they don’t know it, by showing me over and over again how much I mean to them, how much they love me. Even now, through the bonds connecting us, this great love between us hums happily.
And being in love is such a wonderful feeling. It makes everything that has ever happened to me pale in comparison to all the amazing moments I share with my beloveds.
Thinking that I’m going to be a bride soon makes me all giddy. I’ve never tried on a bridal dress, but I might go with a vintage dress since it will suit me better. Maybe Isla will accompany me shopping when she’s not busy with classes.
I pick up my phone from my nightstand and quickly send her a message.
Me: Do you have any time next week to go shopping with me?
Isla is the only one who knows that I’m dating Artemiy and Vasiliy, and she is very excited for me. She and I have become quite good friends since we first met.
I put the phone back in its place, but when it vibrates a couple of seconds later, I grab it again.
Isla: I’d love to! Can Zana come as well? She really wants to spend some time with Grandma Olena.
A wave of shame hits me when I realize that I haven’t made any effort to bond with Zana since Artemiy entered my life. And the sad part is that I really love Zana. She is the sweetest child ever.
I’ve been too busy living my life and I’ve been neglecting people dear to me.
Me: That would be perfect because I’m dying to spend some time with her. Maybe she can have a sleepover with me sometime soon?
Isla: What a great idea, but I will have to ask Uri first.
Me: Let me know what he says. Also, give her a big hug and a kiss from me and tell her that I’ll bring her something when Vasiliy, Artemiy, and I come over for Thanksgiving.
Isla: I can’t wait to get to know your new boyfriend. Also, heads-up—Ivan has been guessing that something is up, especially since you’ve been out of Veross City for so long, and the only reason why he hasn’t went after you or isn’t pounding on your door right now is because I’ve been insisting that he need to let you live your own life, that you are an adult, and he’s been grumpy for about three days now. I don’t want to tell you what to do, but tell him the truth. Whenever you are ready. No pressure at all.
Me: I will. On Thanksgiving.
Isla: That will make dinner… interesting. 😬
Me: He will survive.
But I’m not sure I will.
