Chapter 336 336. Olena - Thanksgiving 1
We spend not just one weekend at Artemiy’s house, but ten days, and return to Veross City a couple of days before Thanksgiving. We’ve already made plans to come back after spending the holiday with my son and his family.
We might even celebrate Christmas in the house that will eventually become our forever home.
I admit that despite all the wonderful moments with these two men, who have come to mean everything to me—after Ivan, of course, because my son has been my reason to live for so long that putting him above everyone and everything comes naturally to me, but slowly, I am learning not to do that anymore—there have been times when I’ve looked over my shoulder, afraid that Yuily will come out of the shadows and ruin all my happiness. Even though Ivan and I are now living two completely separate lives, I will always love him the most, but the love I have for him and the love I have for Artemiy and Vasiliy are different.
Luckily, that doesn’t happen, and the only bad memory that still lingers is the one from the maze.
I’m not the only one who has been on edge when outside or when strange sounds were heard around the house—Vasiliy and Artemiy have been as well, becoming extra vigilant and even installing security cameras around the property. They’ve also spent more time than usual on their phones, talking in hushed voices to the person or persons on the other end so I wouldn’t hear their conversations. Chalking it up to the fact that it was related to the surprise proposal they are planning, I decide not to listen in and just go on with my day as normal.
Or, as normal as it can be, since I’ve been feeling quite tired lately, and some of the foods I usually like have started tasting strange.
“I made you scrambled eggs,” Artemiy chirps happily as I step into the kitchen in search of coffee the day after we return to the penthouse.
I’m not sure how he can be so energetic after last night, when I barely let him or Vasiliy rest because ever since we bonded, I’ve been hornier than ever, and I feel like a sex addict, always craving dick. The good part is that they are more than happy to give me as many orgasms as I want, but I worry that they will eventually get tired of how needy I’ve become.
The smell of the eggs hits me, and I scrunch up my nose at it before taking a step back. “They smell… wrong,” I say, fighting to keep my nausea at bay.
He takes a look at the plate he set in my usual spot at the table before glancing at the scrambled eggs on his plate. Then, he scoops some onto his fork, brings it to his nose, and sniffs before putting it in his mouth and chewing really slowly. A moment later, he informs me, “They taste good to me, but I can make something else for you.”
“I only want coffee,” I tell him.
He gets up and starts preparing a mug for me as he speaks over his shoulder, “You look like you need a lot of caffeine.”
“I do,” I agree while debating whether going back to bed is the more logical option here, but unfortunately, there are some errands I have to take care of today, since Thanksgiving Day is only a couple of days away—like getting something for Isla’s grandfather because he’s been so kind, inviting not only Vasiliy and me but also Artemiy for dinner. And I still have some gifts on my list that I need to purchase.
When I don’t move from the doorframe, he asks as he sets the mug on the table, “Are you feeling alright? You look a little pale.”
“Yes, but the smell of the eggs almost has me vomiting,” I admit.
He tilts his head to the side, studying me for a bit. “Do you want to see a doctor? In case you are coming down with something.”
“Oh, no. It must be from something I ate yesterday that upset my stomach,” I dismiss his worries because it doesn’t feel like such a big deal.
Vasiliy’s voice comes from behind me. “Do you want a cup of ginger tea?” he asks, probably having heard part of my conversation with Artemiy. “It’s good for an upset stomach.”
“Tea sounds good,” I reply as I turn to my side.
On his way to the kitchen, he stops long enough to press a kiss to my lips—or two—before telling me, “Go lie down for a bit. I’ll bring you the tea when it’s ready.”
“I’ll make you some toast,” Artemiy speaks next as he scrapes the remaining bits of his scrambled eggs, along with my plate, into the trash before sealing the bag in an attempt to get rid of the awful smell, but we will probably have to open the windows.
It’s almost as if he reads my mind as he goes ahead and opens the sliding door that connects the kitchen to the terrace, letting cold, fresh air enter.
I can’t help but smile at how spoiled I am by them. “There’s no need,” I try to argue with them, but Artemiy narrows his eyes at me.
“Your health is very important. Now, do as Vasiliy told you, unless you want another round of spanking.”
My teeth sink into my bottom lip as a fresh wave of arousal hits me. How can I still want them after all the sex from last night?
“Is that supposed to scare me?” I wonder.
Artemiy gives me a heated look. “If you still want this dick, all you have to do is say two words—fuck me—and you will get the pounding of your life.”
Vasiliy glares at him. “Is sex all you think about?”
“It’s all her fault!” Artemiy throws the blame on me.
My eyebrows inch up. “How am I to blame?” I gasp, a bit surprised by his reaction.
