Redwood's Fallen Princess

It's 1000 years in the future, and humans have learned to travel the galaxy, discovering and colonizing planets as they go. They rely heavily on the development of robots and compete for resources to survive. A coup is enacted that changes the future of the planet Redwood, leaving the sole survivor, Princess Valerissa Gearheart, in hiding after her 14th birthday. After hiding for 7 years, Valerissa, now known only as the Gear Maiden, survived by becoming the leading creator of Chaperone Droids for the rich class of debutantes. During those 7 years, Val created a very sophisticated AI interface that can learn human emotions and act like a human. She never replicated it for fear of being used for bad things, so there is only one droid with it. Her faithful companion, Ageis. Ageis later falls in love with Val as they work to return her home. After so long a chance finally shows itself, and Val gets to work on taking back what belongs to her. Making new friends along the way, and learning new things about her family, Val strives to fix this world and bring peace back to Redwood.
