Lyra Hale, a lone wolf with no pack to call home. She was cast out of her birth pack as a child due to a mysterious mark on her shoulder—a crescent moon with three claw marks through it. Legends say the mark belongs to the Moonbane, a wolf destined to destroy or save all wolf-kind. She dreams of belonging but knows no pack would accept her. One night, while hunting, she crosses into the territory of the Bloodmoon Pack, one of the most feared packs in the region. Alpha Kael, the ruthless and powerful leader of the Bloodmoon Pack. Kael is known for his cold heart and his relentless pursuit of strength. He is unmated and uninterested in finding his mate, believing love is a weakness. Lyra is captured by Kael's patrol and brought before him. To her shock, the moment they lock eyes, the mate bond ignites between them. Kael, disgusted by the idea of a weak, rogue mate, denies their bond and declares Lyra a prisoner.
