FORCED INTO LOVE

"And who was that guy you were with at the café?" Jason's voice sliced through the room's quiet as he approached Emma. "Just a friend, we were catching up. Besides,You're in no place to ask me that, Jason, you have no right." Emma shot back, her frustration bubbling to the surface. "I'm your husband, woman!. I have every right to ask. Have you no shame? How can a married woman sit so comfortably with another man in public?" Jason's accusation hung heavy in the air. Emma's jaw clenched, her patience wearing thin. "Let me remind you, seems it's skipped your mind, what we have is fake!" she retorted, bitterness lacing her words. "Fake or not, you're my wife. I own you Emma!" Jason's words were sharp and cutting.
