Chapter 68 Losing His Mind
With fury building bit by bit in his mind, a lava to the edge as the wrong perceptions of what she must have done with Luke revolved.
His breaths were fuming, mind was hazy and by the time William returned home, his appearance displayed his distress.
Messy hair, three buttons of his shirt opened, revealing his toned chest.
His tie, coat, waistcoat, along with his things was thrown on the couch, calling Arabella from the room sternly.
“Arabella, come here,”
“What is it?”
Unbothered and ignoring his condition, she merely rolled her eyes and asked coldly.
Taking out the pendant from his pocket, he showed it to her, “You were looking for this, right?”
Her eyes twinkled slightly, “The pendant. Where did you find it?”
Taking it immediately, she pushed her hair to one side and tried to secure it around her neck again with a glimpse of relief he failed to notice.
“At Jed’s Party,”
“See, I told you it-”
“It must be in the room you met with Luke, all alone,”
And her very being froze for a second, not daring to react when he took a step dangerously closer, a venomous smile spreading across his lips.
“Right?”
Bringing a silence of two seconds where she could feel her beats dropping to unaccountable horror and before William could burst, the pendant fell from her hand.
The second that piece of jewelry fell on the ground, Arabella sprinted towards the room in a desperate attempt to hide from his seething.
“Don’t you dare to fucking run from me now, woman.”
Growling, William lost his mind the second her steps retreated. Matching her steps with ease, he grabbed a fistful of her hair.
Yanking her head back, pressing her into him sternly, he began to drag her body back to the room himself, not loosening the harsh lock which made her yell and struggle.
“Argh! Leave me, William! Let me go!”
Not letting her escape, he forcefully shifted her face to greet his blind in rage gaze that intended to teach her an unforgettable lesson tonight.
When the glimpse of his madness was seen by her, she ended up shivering, attempting to shake her head weakly but he ended up accusing her.
“Do you think I wouldn’t know you were meeting your ex-lover behind my back huh?”
“It’s- It’s not what you think-”
“Shut up, dammit! That is why I didn’t want you to take a damn step out. See what you did now!”
“Let go of my hair, William, you are hurting me!”
“Why can’t you just live like a fucking toy you are? Be where I fucking place you!?”
Pushing her roughly against the wall, a whimper released out of pain as tears began to blur her vision when his anger began to control his soul.
Determined to not listen to her explanations, to punish her for forgetting the limits he created for their so-called ‘perfect’ life.
Tensing her shoulders, she was about to move but slamming his hands beside her face, on the wall, startling her limitlessly.
“Ah, ah, you are not going anywhere,”
He imprisoned her between his muscular body. Clasping her hair to incline their face which made her curl her toes in vexation.
“Stop it, please,”
She begged when his hot minty breaths were burning on her neck as he chuckled darkly.
“Stop?”
Discarding her powerlessness, his hand over her hair tightened, staring dead into her eyes as he declared his cruel intentions.
“What makes you think I will stop tonight?”
He ended up grabbing her throat in a painful grip, causing her hair to stand on their edge.
Purloining her breaths to label them as his, to make it clear who owned her, he kissed her neck intensely.
“Ah- Wi- William..”
She could forge a sentence due to the lack of oxygen as was sucking to implant his mark as a sign she was his, all fucking his.
Yet the imagination of what they must have done infuriated him, it gradually erased his forbearance.
And when the forceful marking couldn’t cease his sting, he released her hair eventually, growling at her.
“What did you do with him huh? Did you enjoy being alone in the room with him? Sharing a fucking forbidden moment…?”
Choking, she held his wrist to attain some pity but he had loosened his whole identity.
Hovering, colliding his rough breaths with her unsteady one, her faint whispers were muted.
“You are wrong-”
“Shh, shh, I know I am not,”
Clenching his jaw, he held her back to compress his body into his, locking her into him, frightening her too much at the unforeseen obsessiveness.
The distances were eradicated and blended with intolerable thought of them being ‘together’, he snarled, wanting to destroy the slightest sign- if she had any- of Luke from her.
“Did he touch you? Where? How? Did he kiss you too?”
“N-no, no, he- he didn’t-”
Her eyes widened in horror, he held zero faith, shivering in dread as she could witness where he intended to lead this unbearable confrontation.
Loosening his grip slightly to let her breathe with a cold demand.
“Fucking kiss me too,”
“Wi-William, I-I didn’t-”
Becoming miserable, Arabella attempted to make him listen and stop this obstinacy at once but losing his path as well, he shouted outrageously.
“FUCKING DO IT, ARABELLA!”
Not allowing her to perceive, all his weight was upon her, caging her against the wall, he crashed his lips upon hers, ceasing her whole functioning for a heartbeat.
Her heart pounded madly against her ribcage, the terror stealing her strength to move as all of it was highly distasteful when his lips moved upon her, biting her lip that drew some blood.
Shutting her eyes, failing to witness such unwanted intimacy, she couldn’t help to sob that allowed him to kiss passionately.
Smirking ruthlessly at her defeat.
With his one hand on her throat, he snaked his other hand inside her shirt, dragging his nails discarding the sobbing and tears mixing with her sweat and fear.
William did not stop kissing her until he satisfied his sick fantasy and to show her how much the beast enjoyed it, he licked his lips.
She tried to rub her mouth to eradicate the sensation that he didn’t let go and stopped his hand at her bra.
“Where else did he touch you?”
His hand from the throat, shifted upward to her jaw, “This pretty face? These perfect curves? Or down-”
Utterly shattered and disappointed, she knew searching for mercy or providing justification was futile.
Subsequently, Arabella used all her energy and pushed him away while breaking into a wretched sobbing.
“Enough, William, I didn’t do anything, stop it!!”
