Surprise

We all piled into the cars we were using to take to the Snow Moon Pack. While in the cars I noticed that Qaletaqa seemed a little scared and looking around outside the windows. Even Keme noticed that he seemed scared.

“Qaletaqa, what made you so scared?” Keme asked

“I keep waiting for a father to jump out of the woods,” Qaletaqa said

Alpha Athena was searching through Qaletaqa's mind when she came up against something that worried her and her wolf. They had put him under a spell by a witch and didn't even know it. I just don’t know what it does or how his wolf or he doesn’t know it. It doesn’t seem to be affecting them just yet. I will have to get a hold of Tara when we get back.

“Keme and Aiden we will need to monitor Qaletaqa. He has been put under some kind of spell and I don’t know what the spell is and so far it doesn’t seem to be affecting him. Also, his wolf doesn’t even know the spell is there. Aiden can you get a hold of Tara to see what she can find out?” Athena asked

“Yeah, I get right on that. This mind-link you can do with everyone is so cool. You need to teach me that.” Aiden said and laughed

“Qaletaqa why do you think dad will jump out at any minute?” Keme asked

“It’s just a feeling that I have you know,” Qaletaqa replied

“Don’t worry Qaletaqa there are enough people here to keep you safe,” Aiden said

“I can’t help but worry. He killed my mother, and he wants to kill the rest of my family and his pack is following him like there is nothing wrong with him. I just don’t get it,” Qaletaqa said

“There are some things we are not meant to understand. Don’t think about the what if’s but think about how to change what you can,” Athena said

“Wow, that was renown thought,” Keme replied

They all laughed at that and the car ride became more comfortable to the Snow Moon Pack. They weren’t surprised when they got there to have a large gathering to greet them. Alpha Marty wanted to welcome us with a surprise I see. We all stepped out of the car and Alpha Marty and his Beta greeted us.

“Good Afternoon Alpha Mary and Beta Rick,” Alpha Athena said

“Alpha Athena I see you are still as beautiful as I remember. Who have you brought with you today?” Alpha Mary asked

“Well, I don’t know about the beautiful part since it has only been a few weeks since the last time we have seen each other. I have with me my little brother Qaletaqa, Alpha Aiden and his Beta Keme. I also brought with me my gamma Mia along with my guards.” Alpha Athena responded

“Hello, Alpha Aiden. You must be Alpha Elijah’s son and Keme are known to the Elite Pack I see. I welcome all of you to the Snow Moon Pack. We will have a pack meeting in the big field so you can tell me how to make us better and bring change to my pack. How to do to my pack what you did with yours.” Alpha Marty said

“Do you have your ideas ready for me, Alpha Mary?” Alpha Athena asked

“Yes, the beautiful Alpha Athena. We can talk about this once we meet everyone at the pack meeting. Let’s head that way.” Alpha Marty said

They all followed him and his beta to the field. To where a stage was set up and there was a band and everything set up. He walked to the stage and had us follow him. We all stood there talking till everyone started to arrive. Then the band members started to play and everyone showed up at the clearing for the meeting. There were at least three hundred wolves here in the clearing. As people started to show Athena was getting a bad vibe about someone or people in the pack. All she knew at the moment that something felt off. She would figure it out, eventually.

“Welcome pack. Let me introduce you to some new friends. Alpha Athena, Gamma Mia, Alpha Aiden, and Beta Keme. This little man is Qaletaqa. They help us bring change to our pack. They will also help us learn how to make our own money for the pack. She will also meet with all of you and see if you're happy here. If you leave no one will stop you. I will give you three choices once you have made your choice then we will then see what everyone’s rank is without fighting. We will also take a test to see what everyone is good at. That way you can be happy in your job choice. So let’s begin.” Alpha Marty announced

“All right everyone can you please make two circles and I will walk around all of you and talk with each of you. Don’t worry this won’t hurt at all. I will use Alpha Aiden’s Beta to help with the ranking process. To let you all know where you stand and what your options are.” Alpha Athena said

“Qaletaqa stayed here with Aiden and just watched,” Alpha Athena said as she walked towards the circles with Keme beside her. They started with the inner circle with meeting and checking ranks. She was doing good. Everyone in the first circle was happy and enjoying the process so far. No one in the inner circle had given off any of the bad vibes that she had earlier. Once the inner circle was done she moved to the outer circle. When she got to the outer circle, she noticed that she got that bad vibe again. The first few people were good then she gets to a group of five men who have this look of discussing on their face when she gets to them. She can see they are up to no good. They have been taking children and selling them to the vampires and witches of dark magic to help them be able to gain power. I mind-link Aiden to have Qaletaqa to stay there and he needs to get Marty and the beta to come to me now. While I am talking to a woman just before the men I hear them say she will be nice to fuck tonight. We can tie her up and each takes a turn on her. They didn’t think I heard and worse yet Keme heard it too. Keme looked at me and I just gave him the look to wait till the others got here. Then the others showed up and looked at me for answers.

“We need to take these five wolves into custody and lock them up. I want to deal with them after we finish here. There could be more.” Alpha Athena said

“Can I ask why you want to take five of my warriors into custody?” Alpha Marty asked

“These five have done things that will come to light as soon as we are done and you need to do it now. Because I have some questions of my own for you Alpha Marty.” Alpha Athena said

Alpha Marty called for eight of his top warriors from the first circle and had them come and take these five men to jail and lock them up till we are done. The five men were in shock that they were being taken away from the group. She continued with the outer circle until she came upon three more wolves that have been doing something wrong. These wolves have been selling drugs to humans and killing vampires for sport. She had these three taken away. Then continued and the rest of the pack was in good standing. Then she looked at Alpha Marty and gave off a look of discussing.

“Alpha Marty we need to talk in your office. Bring your beta. Come to Keme and Aiden let’s grab Qaletaqa on the way to his office.” Alpha Athena said

They all headed to Alpha Marty’s office, and she was not happy with what she had to talk to him about. They all could tell how pissed off Athena was. The power was rolling off of her and no one could get her to chill. Once she arrived at the office to talk with Alpha Marty, she was a little better than before.

“Alpha Athena please explain what is going on with the eight pack members that you ordered locked up. I want to know why.” Alpha Mary demanded

“Don’t demand things from me, Alpha Marty. Five of your wolves were stealing children and selling them to vampires and witches for money and to gain power with their black magic. The other three were selling drugs to humans and killing vampires for sport. Did you know any of this was going on in your pack?” Alpha Athena asked

“I had no idea what was going on but knew something was just couldn’t prove what. I also didn’t think it would include some of my warriors and regular pack members in doing something like that. Thank you for finding it for me.” Alpha Marty

“We need to see who they were taking the children from and which groups they were selling them too. So we can try to stop it with them. So let’s go get some information out of them now.” Alpha Athena said

“I agree. Let’s go see what they were dealing with.” Alpha Marty said

Then they headed to the basement where the wolves were being kept. They were all sitting there waiting for answers to why they were locked up.

“Alpha Marty why did you lock us up?” one man asked

“Well, for one it wasn’t Alpha Marty that had you locked up. I did. I also know that you five have been selling children to vampires and witches for black magic power. I want to know who those vampires and witches are that you sold the children too.” Alpha Athena demanded

“We don’t answer you bitch. You can’t make us tell you anything.” The man said

“Oh, but you do you see. I don’t have to get you to talk to tell me what I need to know. I just need you to hold still and I will retract the information from you.” Alpha Athena said

Four men grabbed him and took him to another room. So Athena can question him her way and get all the information that she needs to track down the vampires and witches that took the children. She thinks that is what her so-called father may have done to put her little brother a spell on him he could activate at a later time to get him to do what he wanted and that is what she will find out today. They tied him to a chair, and she looked at him and he glared at her with hate in his eyes.

“This is how it will work. I will ask you questions and you will answer them if you don’t I will go into your brain and heart to find the answers myself. Do you understand?” Alpha Athena asked

“Why should I answer you? You're just a woman trying to be something that she is not or never will be. A true Alpha.” The man said

Instead of giving him an answer she showed him some of her power and made him whipped in pain along with everyone else in the room. Then stopped and looked at him and now he showed fear on his face.

“Are you ready to talk now?” Alpha Athena yelled

“Yes, Alpha. Just don’t hurt me anymore.” the man cried

“Why were you selling the children?” Alpha Athena asked

“I told us to do it and that we would gain power and we would help rule over the supernaturals.” The man said

“Where did the children come from?” Athena asked again

“From all over. We would take from other packs and humans too.” The man replied

“Who got you started in this business?” Athena questioned him

“His name was Algonquin he said that we needed to be on his side before it was too late,” The man said

“Who was the vampire coven that you sold the children too?” Athena asked again

“It was the Bram coven and the Cor Lupis coven” He replied

“The Witches covens are who” Athena demanded

“The Night Grove and Midnight,” the man said

“Thank you for that. I got the information that I need from you. I will now let your Alpha do with you what he wants.” Alpha Athena said

“You said you wouldn’t hurt me if I told you the information” the man pleaded

“Your right I did. I never said that your Alpha would not punish you for your crimes.” Alpha Athena replied

They left Alpha Marty to deal with his men. When they get back up the stairs, they see that everyone is waiting for the next steps of the change to take place. So the others started to put everyone into groups. There again were four groups, original pack, elite pack, moon goddess Pack, or rogue. Not only did they get a surprise about what was going on and who started it, but the number of people who wanted to join the moon goddess pack from Snow Moon Pack was surprising to Athena. Fifty wolves wanted to join her pack, and the rest wanted to stay in their original packaging. None went to the Elite pack which surprises me. She let the ones that wanted to go with her they would leave in the morning. She took a walk around the Snow Moon Pack and saw that they had a lot of ways to make money and to bring in new members and humans to the area. She made some mental notes to talk with Alpha Marty about when he was done. Alpha Marty found Alpha Athena walking through town and looking around he was wondering what she thought of the place.

“Alpha Athena, what do you think of the place?” Alpha Marty asked

“You have a lovely area and I see a lot that you can do with it to bring in money and tourists to your area. I would like to talk about those ideas and see what you guys have come up with before I leave tomorrow. Also, I have fifty of the pack that wants to join me and the rest is staying with you. You have very loyal wolves and the ones that want to come with me are the young unmated ones that want to break away from their parents and try things their way. So most of your pack is good. You just had a few that got led away.” Alpha Athena said

“Thank you for all you have done and let’s head to the office and we can talk to them. It will be dinner time soon and we can continue our talk at dinner.” Alpha Marty replied and led the way to his office. She was just walking up to the porch of the packhouse when Aiden came to her side.

“Hey, Aiden how are you?” Athena asked

“I’m good, just came looking for you,” Aiden said

“Oh, I am just heading to the office with Alpha Marty to discuss a few things. Did you want to join us? You may have some good ideas.” Athena said

“Cool let’s go,” Aiden replied

So everyone followed Alpha Marty to his office to talk about ideas for his territory. When they got in there, it surprised Athena that there were flowers everywhere. She looked around in shock and didn’t know what to make of it.

“I would not do this in front of anyone but since you're here Aiden, I guess you can bare witness to this. Alpha Athena, I know you haven’t known me long and I just feel that it would be good for both of our packs. Neither of us has a mate, and I was wondering if you would like to be my mate and we run the packs together. I was the Alpha and you as my strong Luna.” Alpha Marty asked

Aiden and Athena were both shaken and the looks on their faces said it all. Plus, Aiden knew that is not the relationship Athena wanted, and neither did her wolf. This would not end well for Alpha Marty.

“Wow, that is a surprise, Alpha Marty. Even though that is a great offer and anyone else would love that, I am not just anyone. Moon Goddess has not told me it’s time to take a mate and I am still young and still could find my mate. I just am not Luna, I am an Alpha just like you and my mate has to understand that. You can’t expect me to give up my Alpha title and all that I worked for to become a luna. I hope you understand and I am very flattered that you chose me. All I can offer anyone is friendship. I hope you understand.” Alpha Athena explained

“Thank you for letting me down so graciously and I understand, but you can’t blame a man for trying. Let’s talk business and stay friends. I would like that too.” Alpha Marty replied

“Sounds good. I think you could host a music festival here with your band and have other bands come and play. You could also do Movie festivals and things like that. Then you have some stores that you could do.” Alpha Athena

“Yes, that all sounds good. We were thinking something along those lines ourselves. We were also thinking of hosting car shows and things like that. Even setting up with some haunting stuff to bring in things.” Alpha Marty said

“All those sound great. I would do a study in what brings in the most money and go with those ideas and set up your stores to reflect those attractions.” Aiden added

Then they realized it was time for dinner and they all went to meet up with the pack members to say their goodbyes and have dinner before everyone left in the morning. Then they all went to their rooms to get a good night's sleep.
