Chapter Twenty nine: His lying

Sophie rushed out of the room unable to control herself as she ran into the nearest restroom pouring out all the tears in her.

“It can’t be!! Tyler couldn’t have been hypnotized.. he is lying to me, I can’t believe he is lying to me so I can think of him as a good person.” Sophie questioned herself as she continued to remember what he had said.

Sophie could remember that day very vivid and clearly, he told her how he was going to execute her because of the wealth he needed to acquire.

She stood up almost immediately when an idea struck her, she needed to confirm all Tyler activities months back on the day of her execution and know if truly he was lying or actually saying to truth.

Sophie stood up avoiding Tyler’s bedroom as she had told me she needed to ease herself ma she didn’t say anything, she walked straight to Tyler’s Beta with a fierce look.

“I need the records of everything the alpha had to do from few months ago can I collect the key?” Sophie requested in a more commanding tone.

“Did the alpha send you or your are just taking matters into your hands?” The beta asked not even caring to spare Sophie a stare.

“He sent me.” Sophie blunted out not caring what would happen next.

“Fine.” The beta said throwing the keys to Sophie who took them and headed towards th record room.

She went through everything from the day she died and it was confirmed that the doctor came to check up on him after the death and couldn’t be treated till a seer anonymously came the next morning casting a spell away, Sophie still couldn’t believe what she had just read….it could still be a trick Tyler is playing on her, he planned all this just get into her heart and take charge. She thought scattering all the documents and walking out of the room only to come face to face with Catherine again.

“What are you doing there?” Catherine asked giving Sophie the suspicious look but Sophie wasn’t ready for more drama from Catherine who doesn’t ever learns her lesson.

“You can’t just walk out on me, look, just because alpha Tyler is now on your side doesn’t mean you can just enter anywhere or walk around anywhere like you own the place….you need tell me why exactly you entered such a scared room.” Catherine said making Sophie more frustrated.

“You want the key? Take it.” Sophie said throwing keys at Catherine’s face before walking away while Catherine just stood there totally speechless.

Sophie knew that there was more to this than she was being shown, what could possibly be the secret Catherine know too much about that Tyler can’t even banish her elf Tom his palace? Sophie thought to herself as she walked down the hall.

“What do you mean they are breaching our wall!!” Sophie heard Tyler yelling at maybe his beta making rush up to them to at least get an eavesdrop on what they are saying.

“I am sorry alpha but I tried my best , they just won’t back down but I have made sure that all the soldiers are r act for any of their sudden attack.” Tyler beta said but from Tyler groan Catherine could still tell go frustrated he was.

“That bastard can’t do this.” Tyler said while slamming his hand on the table causing Sophie’s heart to suddenly feel a sharp pain, this wasn’t the first time Sophie felt this way but this time she wondered why she had to feel such pain when he hurted himself.

Sophie wasn’t ready to stay another minute as she was sure if Tyler hurted himself again she would feel it for sure.

Just when she is about to leave Tyler beta suddenly said something that interested her.

“But what would we do this time around he is targeting only you and no one else, he even requested a challenge to fight a duel with you.” Tyler beta said as Sophie suddenly became happy….this was finally the chance she needed, with how nervous Tyler’s beta sounded ot felt like this stranger was even more intense to fight with again anyone else.

This was her chance to watch Tyler be tortured to death just like she was, Sophie wasn’t easy going to forgive him or consider the lies he had given her few minutes ago but would stand firm and continue her revenge plan, she might have loved so much back then but that won’t stop her from doing what she wants, she had a lot to do and mostly to revenge the hybrid who got raped… but nothing confused Sophie the most than how she was going to find this person if Tyler is the only Royal blood in the palace at the main time.

Sophie continued to think of a way through everything as she walked back toner quarters… a war was definitely coming for Tyler and he didn't seem ready which means his life is hanging on a slim rope and she was ready to ditch the stupid love she had for Tyler all this years, once she was in her bedroom she took off the dress she had worn all day and took a shower,

“I guess the maids would have to be executed another them, come to think of it how is luck always on Catherine side despite all the bad things she does?” Sophie said to herself while she sat on her bed, just when she was ready to sleep, Tyler staggered in with a childish smirk.

“ I am drunk again.”he cooed before dropping the wine glass and falling directly on Sophie who felt suffocated.

“Why are you so drunk?” Sophie asked.

“I do not want to see Sophie in my dreams.” Tyler replied with a chuckle and just when Tyler is about to reply, the announcement Bell ringed and Sophie could only feel shivers.
