Chapter Thirty: I hope the news of your death travels fast

“I don't want to see Sophie in my dreams tonight.” Tyler said and the announcement Bell rang loudly bringing him back to his senses as he immediately stood up from Sophie body.

“I am sorry for getting drunk and coming here, I need to go now there is an emergency.” Tyler said and before Sophie could even reply he ran out, Sophie and no choice but to also follow him.

She needed to find out if something was wrong and if so what was it that needed them to ring that Bell, ever since she was mated to Tyler from her previous life till now she had only heard the bell thrice.

Just as she was about taking the corner where Tyler had passed Tyler beta stopped Tyler with a worried look on his face.

“Alpha, Alpha Jersey is here.” he announced.

“Thats fine lets have a talk with him.” Tyler tried to sound assured but even Sophie could tell he wasn't calm about it.

“Alpha, that's not the problem now….the problem is he came with his armies which I told you were camping around the walls of the city.” his beta said making Tyler stagger back a little, who could alpha Jersey be? Sophie thought, that could place Tyler in such a panic state.

“Thats fine, earlier you said our soldiers were ready for battle.” Tyler said still trying to a reassure himself.

“Yes they are ready Alpha, but our soldiers are just one third of theirs.” another bad news came from the beta mouth as Tyler ran his hand through his hair in frustration, turning around to see Sophie staring at him.

“Freya, don't be scared or panic….this is just a piece of cake.” Tyler said about to tell the beta another reassuring word when the beta stopped him again.

“You were shot in your stomach, how do you expect to fight?” his beta asked but he pulled the beta away from Sophie presence.

“I need to face that basterd calling himself alpha Jersey.” Tyler whispered before stomping out, he needed to prepare for way even with his condition, he won't let this be a mockery to his kingdom, Tyler said to his self while he prepared.

Sophie still stood in her earlier position despite the fact that Tyler and his beta had already left, this was what's she always wanted so why was she feeling this way? Why was she having so much fright and doubt in her as if she doesn't want Tyler to embark in this fight in the first place.

The maids soon rushed up to Sophie in a panic mode.

“Freya, you need to enter your chambers for safety.” the maid said paving a path back to Sophie bedroom but Sophie didn't make any move and soon Catherine approached her clearly in an hurry to return to her chambers for safety but as usual she stopped to taunt Sophie again.

“ I hope you are happy now? The alpha is going out to fight in his critical condition a because of you.” Catherine said walking past her.

“I won't hide in my bedroom like a coward… even if I can't fight the battle for him I would be there to watch and support Hi because I know my presence would give him more strength to fight for his pack.” Sophie said walking way from her quarters and towards the balcony leading to the outer space where the opponent soldiers were waiting and Catherine stood there unable to decide what to do and here she was trying to run to safety and Sophie was ready to die just to be by Tyler side.

Catherine know if Tyler should see Sophie support he might immediately make her the Luna of the kingdom and she wasn't ready to lose in this game she has been fighting her whole life, so after so much thinking and all the bravery she could summon up she joined Sophie in the balcony but after Sophie noticed her presence, all she did was chuckle and nothing else.

“I can't let you win this bet.” Catherine said to Sophie.

“I guess even the man you love can't get the support he needs from you unless you win a bet.”Sophie replied sarcastically, making Catherine even more furious but she kept quiet anyways.

Just then, Tyler came out in his full armor and a smirk but when he noticed alpha Jersey was looking elsewhere he also turned to see what he was looking at and it was Sophie, he couldn't believe it…sophie actually came out to support him, this alone brought a wide smile to his face.

“You have pretty mistress up there.” alpha Jersey commented walking closer to Tyler while Tyler men rearrange themselves.

“She is not my mistress, she is the next Luna of this kingdom so watch your tongue!!” Tyler yelled aggressively so everyone could hear him including Sophie who smiled.

“Dont worry, when I defeat you and take over your kingdom I would make her my most precious sex slave, just like you did to your mate before killing her.” alpha Jersey said not only angering Tyler but also Sophie.

“I guess news travel so fast, I hope the news of your death travels to your kingdom that fast also.” Tyler replied as alpha Jersey rushed towards Tyler who stood calmly and the next thing Jersey did was bring out a dagger.

And the next thing alpha Jersey did was slit the dagger through Tyler hand which no one expected as the battle suddenly began, all Catherine did was watch calmly but Sophie heart began to ache badly due to the pain Tyler was going through.

But sophie knew she had to hold it in if she wanted her revenge to be successful but she couldn't continue watching Tyler being between up by Alpha Jersey and was about to leave when the painfull of all the pains came in making Sophie to turn back immediately.

Tyler was stabbed in the same place he got shot,

“Noooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!”
