Chapter twenty eight: You don't have to swear on their peace

“I used to be very ruthless Freya.” Tyler began while Sophie became more anxious and very impatient to hear what his next word would be.

“I already know that,people still call you ruthless and wicked.”Sophie said trying to shorten all the stories he was going to tell about how ruthless he was.

“I was more than that Freya,I was a betrayal who poured all his anger and hatred for live on his wife.” Tyler continued with the anger showing clearly on his face.

“I treated Sophie so bad that I still feel her presence around,I still have nightmare about her for what I did.” Tyler continued.

“That’s is why I want to know what exactly you did to her…how severe your wickedness got for the maids and everyone to talk about you this way .” Sophie said getting more impatient.

“I turned her into a sex slave.” Tyler suddenly bursted out while trying to hold in his tearing voice and still sound as brave as he could be.

“You made your own mate your sex slave not even Catherine your mistress?” Sophie questioned trying to know more.

“I didn’t do it intentionally it was all Catherine’s fault…that bitch made me feel superior to everything and continued to make me label Sophie as nothing but my slave.” Tyler said with a firm look as he looked up at Sophie.

“I would never do that to someone I love…in short I never thought I loved Sophie I always saw her as nothing more than a slave back then.” Tyler said while a tear slipped out of his eyes.

“If only I could turn back Tina don maybe I won’t have brutally killed Sophie like I did back then…now I miss her so much,all her caring attributes and her kindness despite how heartless I was to her.” Tyler continued while Sophie was struggling badly to hold in her tears as she was suddenly emotional about everything. The man she thought never cared actually had an hidden agenda.

She didn’t even know what else to believe anymore, she couldn’t even differentiate between the truth and lies.

“How am I sure you aren’t saying all this things just to sway me to like you and accept your proposal of a trap.” Sophie asked stylishly cleaning off her tears, Tyler pulls her hand and placed it on his head staring directly into Sophie eyes.

“I swear on my mothers life in and peace in the afterlife.” Tyler brilliantly replied.

“Tyler don't do that, why would you swear on their peace?” Sophie said removing Tyler hand from her head and hugging him just to assure him that she believes in him.

“Thank you for believing me and most especially thank you for seeing as an ordinary person just like Sophie did.” Tyler added about to continue when everything dawned on Sophie, she had made that huge mistake of calling Tyler by his name which was something she always did whenever they were alone when she was the Sophie.

“I am sorry alpha, I am just used to calling people by names because of the kind of ordinary life I lived but i promise not to…” Tyler immediately cut her short by placing his finger on her lips to shit her up.

“Dont think because I said it means I don't like it.” Tyler said with a smile.

“I like the way you make my name sound so cool and sexy… everything about you just keeps screaming perfection and I like that… I love the way you knew my name instantly when we first met and despite the maids warning you you still confidently called me by my name.” Tyler said and all the time he was giving that speech Sophie head was bowed.

Tyler slowly lifted Sophie face planting a kiss at the upper part of her lips then her forehead before finally savoring her lips in general.

“When I told you I love you, I actually meant every word I said .” Tyler whispered about to continue kissing her but Sophie had to stop him or else she won’t know how exactly she ended up were she was now.

“Tyler,let’s save it for later.. you came here to tell me something of utmost important and I am here to listen to it.”Sophie said making Tyler smile letting go of her waist and relaxed on his arm while staring at her waist and the I face.

“I don’t know wether because I started to see Sophie in you, you started looking more like her day by day.”Tyler randomly said making Sophie remember what the hybrid said to her.

She was here for revenge and despite ho much she tried to stop herself she was still falling in love with Tyler again.

She needed to face what she was here for but if Tyler doesn’t tell her the real reason for everything in the first place,she won’t be able to navigate where exactly he revenge would be coming from.

“Tyler just tell me why you killed her, you know I can’t accept to be your Luna if I don’t know what I am going to face being your wife, do you even know till today some of the pack members don’t know what exactly your wife looked like, because she was always hidden inside the palace walls like a slave and I won’t accept that for myself.” Sophie said trying to convince Tyler to continue.

“I treasured her and was scared she would be taken away from me.” Tyler said with sadness.

“That is not the reason why you killed here Tyler… why are you so scared of sharing it?” Sophie questioned.

“I never sold her for wealth like people claimed I said and I never killed her for betraying me because she was loyal to me from the very beginning to the end.” Tyler said.

“I killed her but wasn’t aware of what I did…I was hypnotized.” Tyler finally confessed shocking Sophie deeply.
