Chapter Twenty Two: We looked nothing alike

It can’t be? Does this means the hybrid body she had taken over was similar to her?

“It still makes no sense.” Sophie said to herself while rushing back to her quarters and just when she entered her room she noticed she wasn’t the only one there.

“Sophie.” The figure called making Sophie move back nervously as she stared at the figure like spirit.

“What do you want from me?” Sophie questioned in a shaky voice.

“I am your savior, the one who lent you the body you are using right now,” Sophie said as she quickly remembered making her calm again.

“I am sorry for questioning your words.” Sophie said to her.

“You called for me.” The woman said making Sophie wonder when she called for rid woman as she had even forgotten someone lended her the body she is using now.

“Don’t be worried….I could see how scared you were when you found out we looked alike.”the woman began, but Sophie just good there like a stick.

“We looked nothing alike, you are losing track of what you wanted from the start and now it’s affecting you by letting people see you for who you truly are? I thought you wanted to take revenge for alpha Tyler killing you for nothing and for being treated worst than a slave but now it’s like you have forgotten all that and falling in love with him like he was a saint.” She continued while Sophie tried to hold in her tears as the memories came back, the hybrid was correct as she was truly losing her main purpose and all this was because she truly loved Tyler.

“I loved him.” Sophie whispered to herself.

“But he never loved you for once and it had not even been up to a month you died and he is willing to marry a stranger.”

“You are right.” Sophie whispered but deep down she wished Tyler could love everyone wrong and honor her or even said he once loved her as Sophie or even cared and maybe had a legit and worthy reason for letting her suffer all the things she suffered.

“So Sophie please don’t lose your worth and focus on the right path….don’t fall in love with Tyler for the second time.”

“Don’t you even wonder why the moon goddess brought you two back together as mate? Because she was giving you the golden key to his heart and make it easy for you to take revenge.” The hybrid continued while Sophie was trying her best to not burst into tears but it didn’t work as she fell down to the floor holding her chest tightly with her hands as she sobbed out loud.

“Sophie.” The hybrid called.

“I thought everything would change, I thought this time around I could make him love me sincerely…I….I…I thought there would come a day when I could proudly tell him it was me Sophie who he had killed.” Sophie sobbed making the hybrid pull her into a hug as she tries to stop Sophie from crying.

“No one said you shouldn’t tell him it’s you very soon but are you ready and sure he would love you either ways?” She asked making Sophie sob even louder.

“This isn’t fair at all….he ruined my life and happiness but he still gets to choose how his destiny goes and I don’t.” Sophie questioned.

“Sometimes the world int fair to anyone and that’s why you are given a second chance, do not go easy on them because they never for once went easy on you.” The hybrid said slowly getting up on her feet as a bright light suddenly began to shine out of her body.

“My time is up and I need to start going now.” She said with a faint smile on her face.

“Just listen to my advice and make them regret every breath they take.” She reminded Sophie before vanishing while Sophie sat there in total distress.

“Tyler, you caused all this… you maid me a slave as your wife and I was so stupid to have fell for you then and still falling for you till now.” Sophie whispered to herself with lots of tears still streaming down her cheeks…. Everything happening to her wasn’t meant to happen, starting from her being reborn.

“Moon goddess, you should have left me dead and food for the vultures that day and not give me a second chance… because despite being given a second chance I still hav two live in this cruel palace with the one person I hated the most.” Sophie asked herself as she was aware the moon goddess couldn’t hear a thing she said.

“I would need to be stronger moon goddess but all that can’t be possible if I don’t know what my mission back on earth is.” Sophie continued before scoffing out loud, she was more frustrated now that the hybrid gave her a few words to hear and now she feels like she hasn’t been doing the right thing all along…. It even felt like she wasn’t supposed to fall for Tyler again.

Few minutes after her frustrated and asking herself multiple questions she decided to push them aside and start making a change or else her old face would slowly return and that won’t be good at all.

She stood up cleaning her face and cross checking the mirror to be sure there was no stain of tears as she stepped out of her chambers only to come face to face with Catherine.

“What.” Sophie questioned deceitfully.

“You bitch.”Catherine added still staring at Sophie angrily.

“If you aren’t ready to say anything but continuously call me a bitch then I am out here.” Sophie said about to walk past Catherine when Catherine blocked her way.

“What do you want??” Sophie exclaimed.

“You deserve to die!!!” Catherine yelled pulleying Sophie with her hair but before Sophie could make another turn she felt the knife run through her tummy, Catherine had just stabbed her.
