Chapter Twelve: She's a witch
Catherine rushed into her quarters in anger as she spilled the poison away in anger.
“That witch!! It hasn’t even been up to a week since she came and she stole Tyler away from me,someone I worked my ass out to obtain!!” Catherine yelled, thinking of what she could possibly do next she knew she had to eliminate Sophie or at least make her leave the palace and the only way to do that was by finding another stronger means to destroy her and quickly.
Catherine paced back and forth in her quarters, her mind racing with thoughts of revenge. She knew she needed a stronger plan to destroy Sophie, something that would ensure her permanent departure from the palace. She couldn't afford to let Sophie continue to manipulate Tyler and steal everything she had worked so hard for.
As she thought, an idea began to form in Catherine's mind. Tyler had no heir and should never gave him one before dying which means that would be her only way of obtaining title of the Luna.
Bhagwan Tyler was distancing himself from her because of Sophie.
Catherine decided to try her luck again with Tyler who was now in his chamber, she slowly opened the door and luckily for her Tyler was awake.
Tyler looked up in surprise as Catherine entered his chamber. His expression immediately turned to one of annoyance as he realized it was her.
"What do you want, Catherine?" he asked, his tone curt and cold.
Catherine ignored his tone, plastering a fake smile on her face. She sauntered over to him, trying to appear seductive. "Oh, Tyler, you know what I want," she purred. "I miss our intimacy. I miss the connection we used to have."
Tyler's face hardened, his eyes narrowing. "I'm sorry, Catherine, but I can't pretend anymore. I'm losing my feelings for you, especially after what I've discovered about Freya."
Catherine's smile faltered, but she quickly recovered. "Tyler, don't let Freya manipulate you. She's only after power and control. She doesn't care about you like I do."
Tyler shook his head, frustration evident in his voice. "No, Catherine. You're the one who manipulated me. You used me to get what you wanted. But Freya, she showed me true kindness and compassion. She's everything you're not."
Catherine felt a surge of anger and desperation. This wasn't going according to her plan. She needed to find a way to regain control over Tyler, to make him see her as the only one worthy of his love and trust.
But as much as she tried to seduce him, to remind him of the passion they once shared, Tyler remained steadfast in his rejection.
"I can't do this anymore, Catherine," he said firmly. "I need time to figure things out, to sort through my feelings. But right now, I can't be with you."
Catherine clenched her fists, trying to maintain her composure. "So, what? You're choosing Freya over me? Over everything we had together?"
Tyler's expression softened, his eyes filled with a mix of sadness and determination. "I'm choosing what's best for me, Catherine. And right now, that means staying away from you. I deserve better than someone who only cares about power and control."
Catherine stood there, silent and seething with anger. She hadn't anticipated this outcome. This wasn't part of her plan. But she refused to accept defeat.
As Tyler turned away and walked toward the door, Catherine's mind whirred with thoughts of revenge once again. She couldn't let Sophie win. She couldn't let her steal everything she had worked so hard for.
Determined, Catherine vowed to find another way to eliminate Sophie, to ensure her permanent departure from the palace. She would be patient, she would be cunning, and she would emerge victorious.
But for now, she had to accept Tyler's rejection and figure out the next steps in her plan. With a bitter smile, Catherine silently closed the door behind her, just as she stepped out she came face to face with Sophie.
“What do you want?” Catherine questioned but Sophie played blind and just walked past her. But Catherine was too impatient and immediately drew Sophie by her hair making Sophie fall to the fall.
“Why did you just pull me by my hair?”Sophie questioned, a bit calmer than expected.
“Because you bitch is trying to steal everything I worked for.” Catherine whispered with a very angry look but Sophie was calmer and just walked past her.
“You don’t just walk out on me like that!!!” Catherine yelled in anger.
Just as Catherine's frustration escalated, Tyler walked out of his chamber, drawn by the commotion. He hurried over to the two women, his expression a mix of concern and confusion.
"What is going on here?" he demanded, his voice firm.
Catherine turned towards Tyler, her anger still evident in her eyes. "Tyler, this woman is trying to ruin everything we have, everything I've worked so hard to obtain," she accused, pointing an accusatory finger at Sophie.
Tyler's brow furrowed, and he looked from Catherine to Sophie, trying to make sense of the situation.
“Why are you doing like this Catherine for goodness sake Tyler is nothing but a slave here’s.” Tyler said, making Sophie even more surprised.
“And now I am a slave?” Sophie asked.
“Freya, thats just the truth
