Chapter 190 Death is a Reward - Part 2
She sent her location via text to Elorm and got up from behind the study desk. She put the documents into her drawer and walked towards her closet. She went through her clothes and grabbed a sexy black small dress. She slipped into the dress. She stood in front of the mirror and was about to apply some makeup when she remembered Martin.
"What if he is back home now?" Zora thought.
She quickly thought of an excuse to give and still go out of the house. With a convincing thought in mind, she packed her makeup tools into her bag and grabbed a long jacket. She quickly put it over her sexy, small dress. She put on her shoes and exited her bedroom. She locked the door and started walking towards Martin's bedroom door.
She stood behind Martin's bedroom door and knocked. She had already planned what to tell Martin as soon as he opened the door. She waited a while, and there was no response. She knocked again and tried opening the door, and realised it was locked.
She turned around and walked towards the staircase. It was a few minutes past 8 p.m. The servant was putting out the light since everyone was inside their room.
"Where is Martin?" Zora asked upon meeting the servant in front of the staircase.
"He is still not back, ma'am," the servant replied.
"Okay," Zora said and walked towards the exit without another word.
She exited the apartment and walked to the gate. As soon as she exited the gate, a parked four-wheel ride flashed its light at her. She knew that was Elorm because she had already received a text from him announcing he was there. She hurried her steps towards the parked car, scanning the environment for any sign of Martin. Zora got into the car, and Elorm drove out of the place towards the club.
Once they arrived at the club, Zora got out of the car after applying some makeup. She removed the long jacket, revealing the sexy, small black dress underneath.
"Wow, you look hot," Elorm admired, scanning Zora from her legs up to her face.
Zora smiled in appreciation and accepted Elorm's outstretched hand. The two walked into the club, and Elorm led Zora to the bar. He bought two glasses of strong drink and offered one to Zora. They both gulp the drink down, and Elorm pulls Zora to the dance floor. They wiggled their bodies to the tune being played. A couple of minutes went by, and Zora started acting overexcited.
"I think you are drunk. I will take you home," Elorm said and carried Zora, who would not stop laughing, out of the club.
Outside the club, Elorm put Zora into the car and strapped her in. Zora continued to laugh, asking one silly question after the other. Elorm got behind the wheel and fetched his phone from his pocket. He quickly sent a text to someone.
Where is Martin?
He received a reply to his text.
At the hospital.
Elorm read and smiled. He put the car into motion and drove towards Bryce's apartment. He parked in front of the gate and carried Zora out of the car. She kept laughing and asking silly questions. Elorm walked to the gate, and the security man allowed him in, seeing he was with Zora.
Elorm walked towards the main door. He knew the house inside out from the cameras he had fixed in the house earlier, but sadly had to destroy them. So he knew where Zora's bedroom was. He used Zora's key to unlock the front door. He carried her up the staircase to her room. He unlocked Zora's bedroom door and went inside. He laid Zora on the bed.
"So where did you keep the documents?" Elorm asked, searching the place.
"It's in the drawer over there," Zora sang her reply and laughed.
Elorm opened the drawer and found the documents. He smiled and took pictures of it with his phone. He used an app to change the image into a Word document and made changes to the owner of the company. He put Ivan's name there and went to Bryce's office and printed it out. He returned to Zora's bedroom, placed the printed document into the file and left with the original. Zora had fallen asleep when he returned.
"Goodnight, Zora. My work here is done. You will not remember a thing when you wake up," Elorm said and left the apartment.
From Bryce's apartment, Elorm happily drove to Ivan's apartment. He parked his car and went up to Ivan's apartment. It was a few minutes past the hour of 10 p.m.
"Elorm, I was told you have something for me," Ivan said, walking into the private living room wearing a robe.
"Yes, I got the company documents. I made the changes and left the printed copy at Bryce's apartment. Here is the original," Elorm said with a smile and handed the document to Ivan.
Ivan accepted the document from his hand, went through it and smiled. One of his guards walked in.
"Confirm if this is original?" Ivan said, and the guard took the document away. "Let's wait," he said to Elorm.
The guard returned after a couple of minutes and whispered something into Ivan's ear, and he smiled.
"Well done," Ivan said to Elorm, and Elorm felt relaxed knowing the guard had just confirmed the document was original.
"Elorm, it's been great working with you. I know you were the only one we could use to get this. I am going to tell you something. I killed your father. He was not part of Eduardo's men. Your father was my competitor in the drug business. So I cleared him," Ivan said, and Elorm frowned, standing to his feet angrily, but he stopped in his tracks because the guard pointed a gun at him.
"I promise to reward you after your job is done. I told you it's your chance to avenge your father. It's a shame you couldn't avenge your father, but I will reward you as promised," Ivan said. "I know you will find out one way or another, that is why I told you," he said. " Here is your reward," he added, and the guard, aiming the gun at him, pulled the trigger, releasing a bullet from the gun, and it went into Elorm's head.
Elorm's lifeless body dropped to the ground.
"Death is a reward," Ivan said over Elorm's lifeless body. "Get rid of him. You know what to do," he said and exited the living room.
