Chapter 133 Chapter-133
Raven's POV

I struggled to break free from his grip, but his hold on my waist only tightened.

While I was still pinned in his arms, Magnus lowered his head. He caught the Velcro strap of his glove with his teeth. With a sharp pull, he ripped it open and spit it out onto the mat.

He pushed my braid aside as his bare fingers came into contact with my neck. He traced the exact spot where Alaric's mark was. A highly satisfied, sinister smirk spread across his face.

"Finally got rid of that stupid mark," he said in a low rumble.

"I have no idea what you are talking about," I replied.

"You rejected him." He kept tracing my neck, not giving me a chance to deny it. Finally, that heavy, rotting weight was gone.

"This beautiful, soft neck is begging to be marked by my Lycan," he whispered.

I understood exactly what his intentions were.

"In your dreams, Magnus," I said. "I will never let another woman's man mark me."

I tried to sound tough, but ever since I cut all ties with Alaric, my senses had returned with a vengeance. It was like they'd gone on vacation and suddenly decided to make up for lost time. Magnus's scent flooded my lungs and made my head spin. Every instinct inside me pulled toward him, no matter how hard I fought it.

His expression hardened. His hand gripped my hair, pulling my head closer until the rough stubble on his cheek pressed against mine.

"Do not let anyone else mark you before me," he ordered, his breath hot against my ear. "I must be the first one to mark you. Not even my brother is allowed to mark you before I do," he warned.

"Magnus?"

A sharp voice echoed across the empty gym. We both snapped our heads toward the doorway. Martha stood there, her mouth dropped open and her face flushed dark red with anger.

I immediately tried to stand up and get away, mostly to escape Martha's drama. I moved too fast in my haste, my feet slipped on the canvas. I lost my balance, and landed directly against Magnus's groin. He let out a low, tight groan and closed his eyes. I could feel exactly how hard he was through our clothes, pressing firmly against me. My face burned hot. I used his momentary distraction to stoodup to my feet. I left my gloves on the floor and rushed straight for the exit.
Martha stepped sideways in the doorway, trying to block my path. I slammed my shoulder hard against hers, throwing her completely off balance, and brushed past her without looking back.
