Chapter 132 Chapter-132
Raven's POV
I lunged forward, throwing a hard punch at him. Magnus was faster than I expected. He leaned back, casually dodging my attack. I tried to kick his ribs and then threw some angry punches toward his face, but he didn't give an inch. He just kept dodging every single strike I threw without attacking back.
We fought like this for minutes. A hot flash of anger hit me, mixing with the heavy ache of exhaustion. I was already gasping for air. My muscles felt weak and heavy, but Magnus didn't even look tired, not even after brutally beating down those four guards before I stepped into the ring. His breathing was steady, and his face showed no strain. His raw Lycan strength was completely unmatched. The massive power gap between us only made me angrier. I needed to prove myself—that I could fight a powerful Lycan, no matter what.
Every strike I threw just wasted my energy and boosted his ego. Was I really that weak compared to a Lycan King?
His lips curved into a smug, mocking smile.
"That's all you've got, Miss Luna?" He threw the title like a slap. He wasn't just mocking my fighting skills—he was insulting my capability.
I bit the inside of my cheek. I lunged toward him and threw a punch, aiming directly at his head. Just as expected, he shifted his weight to dodge. But it was a distraction. When he moved to avoid the strike, I pivoted with everything I had. I twisted my torso and drove my left fist straight into his ribs as strong as possible.
The punch caught him off guard. He stumbled backwards to catch his balance and looked up with a surprised expression.
“Impressive, Little Rebel,” he murmured,
"I'm just getting started, Your Highness," I smirked, panting.
Magnus raised his fist with amusement. “Then stop talking and start showing.”
I didn't waste another second. I stepped back into the center of the ring, and we started all over again. I threw another strike, but this time, he did not just dodge. He blocked my attack and moved closer, invading my space. Suddenly, he swung his foot sharply behind my ankle.
He moved so fast I couldn't recover. I gasped as my feet slipped out from under me. For a moment, I thought I was going to crash hard onto the floor. But before I hit, Magnus caught my waist. Magnus twisted, taking the fall himself. His back hit the canvas. I landed safely on top of him, caged in his arms.
"That was a cheap shot," I breathed out, glaring down at him. His arms tightened around my waist, bringing me closer to his body. The violent adrenaline of the fight evaporated instantly. It was replaced by something else, a thick, suffocating heat between us.
"Well," he purred, dark amusement vibrating through his chest, "this is a much better view."
I glared at him, breathless. We were covered in sweat, our chests heaving against each other. The quiet room felt heavy. The air between us was electric.
"Let go of me," I gasped, trying to push away.
