Chapter 104:

Chapter 106:
Pythia POV:

I held my breath for a moment wondering what was about to happen. “Hi there.. I’m sure this is weird for you but I promise you are safe.” I finally spoke. “Where am I?” Eli croaked out. “You are in a coven house. I’m Pythia, queen of the dark witches.” I replied proudly. He blinked a few times before he sat up. “That can’t be right..” Eli whispered shaking his head. He was panicking and I looked over my shoulder at Alley and she nodded knowing what I was silently asking. “What is the last thing you remember?” I asked now that I could see he was calming down. “My aunt came to where my mother and I were hiding.. I was sent to my room so that they could speak alone and then nothing. Where is my mom?” Eli asked. “I don’t know but maybe I can help you. Why were you guys hiding?” I asked. “A war was being talked about, my mom wanted nothing to do with it.” Eli replied.

I felt my heart sink knowing exactly what happened to his mother, there is no way mine kept her alive if she was not willing to fight. “Hello there.. My name is Alley and I’m the great white witch. Would you mind if I looked at your memories? It won’t hurt I promise.” Alley said as she sat on the edge of the bed. “Uh, i’m not even sure I know what that means but go ahead.” Eli replied. Alley smiled as she placed her hands on his head and as she opened the link we could see his memories flying around. His mom did everything she could to cloak them to hide them. “Eli.. If anything happens to me you must go overseas.” His mother spoke frantically. “Why?” Eli asked looking around. “You have a cousin there.. She will protect you. Do not believe anything Pamela tells you. Do you understand?” His mother said in a rush and I could see the fear in her eyes. “Yes.. But why wouldn’t you come with me? If she can protect me she can protect you too.” Eli spoke as he stood to his feet. “I won’t make it, Pamela is very angry that I won’t fight beside her and I will stall her for as long as I can. When she gets here, go to your room, I packed a bag for you and run. Run as fast as you can.” His mother said. “What is my cousin's name? How do I know where to find her?” Eli asked and I could feel his panic.

His mother took a deep breath, “Pythia. Her name is Pythia and you can ask any coven where to find her. She is the queen and I’ve heard she is powerful.” His mother whispered. There was a knock on the door before it opened and Pamela walked in. “Ah good you are here. Carten, would you mind giving us privacy?” My mother asked. “Of course.” Who we now know is Carten replied. I watched as he hugged his mother tightly knowing that he would never see her again and head to his room. On his bed there was a small bag that he grabbed. We watched as he opened his window and jumped out and started running. It seemed like he ran a long time before everything went black and we were snapped out of the memory. I stumbled backwards breathing heavily. “She knew of me.” I whispered. “I found you.. How did I find you?” Carten asked. “We found you.. El.. Err Carten you have been held hostage by my mother.. I am so sorry.” I whispered hugging him tightly. “Am I safe?” He asked.

I smiled at him, “You are incredibly safe my darling. No one is going to hurt you here and I know you must have a lot of questions but why don’t you shower and I’ll take you to get something to eat.” I whispered. I watched as he climbed out of the bed and walked towards the bathroom. When the door closed I looked between Alley and Lucinda. “I’m not even sure what to say..” Alley whispered. “Pamela is a vile woman and she must be stopped at all costs.” Lucinda spoke with anger in her voice. “And she will be. That I can promise you. I need Ambrosia to see through her eyes.” I replied and the moment I said it images were flashing through my head. Furniture was being thrown.. I could hear Pamela screaming. She knew the link was broken and now she knew she couldn’t beat me. She walked towards a mirror and she looked like hell. “I know you are in there. I will kill you bitch but not before I kill your mate and precious kids in front of you.” Pamela seethed and I knew she meant every word she spoke. I stood to my feet just as Carten walked back out of the bathroom. “Carten, why didn’t you teleport here?” I asked. “I never learned how. My mom restricted magic because she didn’t want to bring attention to us.” He replied. “She’s dead isn’t she?” He asked and I could see the tears in his eye.

“I don’t know but I would probably say yes.” I spoke gently. “So you’re the only family I have left?” He asked and I smiled. “Nope. Alley is my sister in law. You have cousins, lots of them here. Would you like to meet them?” I asked and he smiled. “The ladies have a lot of food for him at my place. Shall we?” Alley asked with a huge smile. I grabbed his hand as Alley took us back to the room where everyone else was. Carten stepped behind me and I could feel his emotions rolling off of him in waves. “This is Ambrosia, also my sister in law. She is also the vampire queen.” I said as she walked up and hugged him. “It is so nice to meet you.” She whispered. “This is Tye, my mate and my brothers Jasper and Jenson.” I spoke as I introduced everyone. “Later you will meet their mates and all of our kids.” I whispered. “Is this real?” Carten asked as he held onto my arm and I nodded. “You’re going to stay with us.” Tye smiled. “I will teach you magic, my coven will as well.” I added. As we all sat down to eat, I heard a gasp and turned to see Carten was face to face with Delilah. “She’s my wolf, you have nothing to fear. Her name is Delilah. You’ll see a few wolves out like that.” I laughed. “I thought she was going to eat me.. The wolves over there are viscous.” Carten replied.

I turned to look at him, “Who is their leader?” I asked. “I don’t know his name but I did hear my mother and Pamela arguing one night. Pamela wanted help with some ritual but my mother said no. She said she needed the help to bring him over or something I don’t really remember word for word.” Carten replied and I lowered my head. “It appears you were right Pythia.” Lucinda whispered just before she disappeared. Shit.. This was not something I would have honestly expected but now that we know, we needed to really prepare and we needed to tell Athea before this really gets out of hand. If my mother can bring one of them over, what is stopping her from bringing them all over…
