Chapter 103:
Chapter 105:
Pythia POV:
As we walked outside I noticed how busy everyone around me was. My witches grabbed what they needed to make potions but I wasn’t sure what kind they were making. I would have to ask Stony when I got back. “It’s nice to see you up and moving.” Lucinda said and I smiled. She was never far and I swear it’s like she knew when I needed her. “I feel better than I did, nothing a hot shower can’t fix.” I smiled. Her eyes turned to AJ and her smile grew. “How are you adjusting?” She asked. “Not very well I don’t think. This is a lot to make in.” AJ replied as he ran his hand through his hair. “You’ll learn quickly. As far as your thoughts, I believe it could be a possibility but let’s get to the others first. I don’t want to bring this attention to Athea if we don’t know for sure.” Lucinda spoke. I could hear a little sadness in her voice. “Who is Athea?” AJ asked and I laughed. “She is the moon goddess, and Lucindas sister.” I whispered with a wink. AJ shook his head. “This is just going to be a lot to take in.” He said with a sheepish smile. “Well if you feel like it is too much just say so. You will just meet the alphas and lunas today and spend some time with your family.” Tye said patting his back. “Hey Pythia!” Jasper shouted. “Looking a lot better I see.” Jenson added and I smiled. “I feel a lot better. We are on our way over to Alleys house, join us?” I asked. “Absolutely, I’m just as curious as you are.” Jasper spoke.
I elbowed him in the ribs, “No thought checking!” I laughed. “What is thought checking?” AJ asked. “It’s an ability that my brothers have. They are twins by the way. But, they can’t read actual words.. They just pick up on some stuff and piece it all together.” I replied with a small smile. “That’s kind of cool honesty.” AJ whispered. “You shouldn’t stress over things so much. I mean, I know a lot has happened but this isn’t something you should shove in your brain at once.” Jasper tried to whisper. I offered a half smile to AJ as we walked through the doors to Alleys house. Everyone stopped and stared and it was like instincts kicked in and we stepped a little closer to AJ. “It’s okay..” He whispered. I looked back over my shoulder, “They won’t ask anything just yet. We need to get your memories back first.” I replied. “And he will as soon as he is ready.” Athea said. I turned to see she was standing at the end of the stairs, she wore her signature white dress and she was smiling from ear to ear. “We found the families and they are on their way here. AJ, are you ready?” Athea asked. “Will it hurt?” AJ questioned. “Not at all, come.” Athea answered as she held her hand out. “Moon goddess right?” AJ whispered making us giggle. “Yes, now go. We will see you in a while.” I replied.
As AJ walked by I heard him gasp and I smiled because I knew exactly what Athea had done to give him a little more courage. “Pythia!” Alley yelled walking towards us. “It’s so good to see you up and moving. Everyone is in the meeting room and we might have a problem.” Alley said and I could hear the frustration in her voice. “What’s going on?” I asked. “The wolves have made themselves known and all of them are on the move here.” Alley whispered and I felt my blood run cold. I still haven’t been able to break the link between Eli and my mother and now I was seriously running out of time. As we walked through the doors I saw a few guardians were in attendance. “Those mangy mutts need to be met half way.” Josh seethed. “We can’t just go running at them with no plan.” Jasmine replied. “Guys, I need to mention something about them and we all need to think this through.” I said grabbing everyones attention. “So far we figured out that me and Ambrosia are related to someone over there but we can’t find evidence that Stephan is. I think.. I think the leader of those wolves came from Elis' world , making the connection to Athea and Lucinda.” I said in a rush. I wasn’t really sure how else to put it other than to just say it. “Why would you think that?” Ambrosia asked. “Well, think back to when we went over there for Athea to bless the challenge. He didn’t speak a word and the way he shrank back into the wall when Eli's name was mentioned. They said he was Bartholomews beta but we know for a fact that’s not true.. He was killed and no one got by the guardians correct?” I asked looking over at them. “No, not a single one” Baine replied.
I looked around the room, “You might be right but how do we verify that?” Emma asked. As soon as she asked me that question I knew exactly what I have to do to save that kid. “I am going to use my light to break the connection between Eli and my mother and I want Alley to do a head dive.” I replied. “Pythia..” Tye whispered. “I can do it. I know I can.” I replied feeling a little more confident in myself. “I want to attend this.” Lucinda said walking into the room. “I need to verify this before I take it to Athea and we need to move quickly.” Lucinda warned and I knew something was wrong. “The rest of us will plan, go.” Ambrosia said before she hugged me. “If anyone can do it you can.” She whispered in my ear and I hugged her tightly. I kissed Tye on the cheek before we teleported to the room Eli was in. Looking at him made me sad. He was frail and looked so young. He had the same black hair as I did and I found myself wondering what his life was like. What it would have been like had he of grown up here with all of us.
I placed one of my hands on his head and one on his chest and the only thoughts that were in my head were of saving him. Breaking whatever hold my witch of a mother had on him and I could feel myself getting warm. Everything tingled and I smiled knowing exactly what was happening. I heard a gasp and looked down to see he was now awake and his bright green eyes were burning into mine
