Chapter 102:

Chapter 104:
Pythia POV:

When I opened my eyes Lillith and Tye were staring down at me. He sat on the edge of the bed and placed his hand on my forehead. “How are you feeling?” He asked. “I’m okay, tired but not as tired as I’ve felt lately.” I responded and he smiled. “What are you two smiling at?” I questioned. Did something happen while I was out? “When you used your light, you were illuminating. The power that rolled off of you was joyful. Everyone felt it.” Lilith finally answered with a broad smile. I knew there was something else that she wasn’t saying. “How long was I out?” I asked. “Just a few hours. I told everyone to leave you be.” Tye replied. “I’ll get straight to it. Your light is the key to saving that kid. Your mom won’t know about it but she will know that she does not have access to him anymore.” Lillith spoke and I sat up. “Then let’s get this done. How is AJ?” I asked. “He is good. Refusing to leave until he sees you, not long after you healed him Athea fixed their memories.” Tye whispered and I wondered why he stayed here when he could be home with his family.

I nodded my head and stood to my feet. “Let’s go and see him first then. I’m sure he wishes to be back with his family.” I smiled. “He can wait a little longer, go shower and change.” Lillith smirked and I rolled my eyes. “Sit with me and update me?” I asked looking at Tye and he smiled. Stepping into the shower felt better than anything else right now, I didn’t realize how dirty I felt. “So what has everyone been doing while I’ve been out?” I asked rubbing shampoo in my hair. “Alley and Stephen have been with everyone at their house trying to track down the family members. Ambrosia has started training her people, they’ve been keeping a very close eye on the cameras. There have been rumblings but nothing serious.” Tye answered. “What about Leia? I’m sure she has already started cracking the whip.” I laughed. “She honestly has. You know how protective she is and now that the beast is running everything she’s going to push them as hard as possible to get them where they need to be but honestly, we still needed to figure out who the beast is.

As I rinsed my hair a thought crashed into me. “Are we sure that the man is apart of Bartholomews wolves? Surely someone would have seen him running off. Remember the guardians said they were in the woods.. How would they of all people miss seeing him?” I questioned. Tye looked up at me with a confused face. “You’re right. They should have seen something. Maybe we have it wrong. Bartholomews beta was killed. That much I do remember.” Tye replied and I nodded my head. “How are we going to figure out who he really is? I have my guess.” I whispered as it smacked into me. The way he retreated when Athea mentioned Eli stood out to me. “What guess is that?” Tye questioned. “Did you notice how he was when Athea was with us? No words were spoken but he shrunk back when Eli was mentioned. What if.. What if he is from the other world? What if he is just saying he was with Bartholomew so no one would think anything else? It would be a good way for Eli to see how our world is and how strong we are so that he can plan around it.” I spoke. The more I spoke the more I felt it to be true..

Tye nodded his head and his face was scrunched together. “I hadn’t thought about that but we need to bring this up to everyone else.” Tye replied. I turned off the water and wrapped a towel around me. “Where is Lucinda? I want to know if that is even possible before we say anything.” I said. I mean, could it really be possible? How could that even happen? “We will go find her after you talk to AJ. He is downstairs.” Tye whispered as he kissed the top of my head. I settled for comfortable clothes and let my hair dry naturally. As we walked out of the door I heard a soft growl and I turned. “Delilah..” I whispered and ran to her. I sunk into her fur and I felt her head wrap around me. “I have been worried but listening.” Delilahs voice rang out in my head, making me laugh. “Of course you were. What do you think?” I asked, curious about what she has to say. “I think it is possible, Eli would have to use a lot of his power though.” Delilah answered and I stepped back looking into her eyes. “Alright, let’s go see what AJ needs and then we will find Lucinda.” I whispered not liking the uneasy feeling I was starting to get.

As we walked through the hallway everyone smiled and bowed their heads respectfully and for a moment I was glad for the large hallways or they would be squished against the wall trying to get by Delilah. When we rounded the corner AJ nearly hopped out of his skin as he eyed Delilah. “I was told you needed to speak with me, and I assure you, that shield you have up is not necessary.” I said gently pulling his attention back to me and when he finally faced me I could see he was nearly identical to Stephen. “Ah.. yes, sorry it’s a habit and that wolf behind you does not look all that friendly.” AJ spoke and I laughed. “She is mine, we separate sometimes but trust me when I say that if she wanted to, that shield would not work.” I giggled as Delilah huffed. “Right, this is all just so crazy to me. But, I wanted to thank you, for everything. I don’t know what my place is anymore and it’s a weird feeling. I don’t know who anyone is.” AJ whispered and for a second he looked like a lost boy. “Well, why don’t you come with us and we can introduce you to everyone? I know your family wants to see you.” I replied. “Can you just start by telling me who you are at least? What was the bright light that came out of you?” AJ questioned and I smiled.

“Well, I am Pythia, the dark witch queen and Luna to the Emerald Moon Pack. This is my mate Tye, king to the dark witches and alpha to our pack. This is Delilah, as I said earlier. We had a battle a while ago and we were granted wolves to help us but she decided to stay with me. The light that you saw was part of my gift and something I am still learning about. Lucinda is the sister to the moon goddess, you can consider her my grandmother at times but she has become more of a mother to me.” I spoke gently trying to keep it as simple as possible so that I don’t overwhelm him with anything. “So much has changed.. How do you know my brother?” AJ asked, looking between us. “Easy, he is mated to my sister who is also the great white witch.” Tye answered with a broad smile. He was as proud of her as I am. “You will see we all live together, we mended things a long time ago. Our races no longer fight or anything. Come, we need to get going.” I said as I clapped my hands together. I was feeling more and more anxious and needed to get to everyone as soon as I possibly could.
