Chapter 81 Chapter 81
Selena
Hands wrapped around me, lips taking mine softly yet demanding. His tongue clashed against mine, fighting to subdue mine, and I didn't hesitate to open up, not when his hands roamed all over my body, igniting my skin into flame.
God, when was the last time I felt this good? Being held this way.
I moaned softly when his teeth grazed my lower lip. My head was spinning, being in his arms like this, in the dark corner with people buying and selling.
Wait.
I snapped my eyes open and stepped away from his embrace.
“I ……I,” My eyes scanned around us for a presence. But no one was looking. I looked back at Theodore.
He stares at me, his tall frame looming above me like he wishes to engulf me. His face didn’t hold the usual lazy grin.
Today seemed different, one that I couldn't ignore.
Something didn't feel right with him, and that could be the reason for his sudden appearance and kiss. I couldn't place my hand on what might be wrong.
“Boss…I mean Theo,” My chest heaved heavily.
What would make him act like he just did?
If I were someone else, I would think we were lovers or something. But his next words dissipate that.
“I want you, Selena.”
I looked at him, at his words, at the complicated look on his face.
“Now…like now?” I stuttered, and he didn't say anything.
I bit my inner cheeks.
Yes, that should be the only reason he was here. I was his anyway, his to own. And I don't know why that bittered my tongue.
What was I expecting? He missed me? I scoffed.
“What did you do that for?”
“Uh?” I raised my head to look at him. His face tightened as he stared down at me.
“What did you do that for?” He asked again, this time, he took a step towards me, and I stepped back.
“Oh,” Now I wish I could hit myself. Why didn't you think before scoffing so loudly? And it must have come off directed to his words.
“Aren't you daring, Selena?” Now my back was against the wall.
“I didn't mean to do that. I just got lost in my thoughts and then…” I explained, words flowing out of my mouth that I doubt he understood them.
He didn't say anything; instead, his fingers reached for my face. He traced it down to my chin, his eyes staring, taking me in.
He had the look again. A look of helplessness.
Why? What was he thinking to have such a look,
“I’m sorry, I didn't mean to do that,” I murmured to him.
He didn't say anything as his hand moved down to my chest, on top of my breast. My breath caught.
His Adam's apple moved, then he looked at me. “You are so beautiful, Selena. My muse.” Another hand traced my face then it stopped below my eyes.
“For some reason, Selena, your eyes aren't fearful when you look at me. They aren't scary, nor are they scared.
What does he mean? Why should my eyes be terrifying?
“You aren't scared of me, and I want to believe you are not holding anything, Selena.” He raised my chin to face him.
I swallowed at his words.
Hold anything? What does he mean? Does he know I’m spying on him? But that wasn't possible.
“Of course, nothing. What can I hide from you?” I chuckled.
God help me not to give it out.
“Hm,”
A tiny little step, and our bodies were pressed together, his tall build above me.
I wonder if he could hear how my heart was beating crazily at our closeness.
“Selena,” It was a murmur, a whisper for just the two of us. His finger rubbed my lips.
Was he going to kiss me again? It felt good when he did, his hand moved around my waist, and my eyes watered.
Just from his touch, the little gown suddenly felt nonexistent at our closeness. But the crazy thing was the ache in my pussy that I had been trying to ignore.
“I saw you, You brought me out of it.”
My breath stiffened as he rubbed the side of my left breast, sliding slowly to my nipple.
“What…are you talking about?” My words turned into stutters as I watched his face, my body alert at each of his touches.
“Hm,”
My thighs moved on their own accord, spreading as his leg nudged them apart. Each moment from now, I am sure my heart will be hurting from how fast it beats.
“What are you, Selena? How can you get to me so easily?” He whispered, his voice too low against my chin, moving to my lips.
He was going to kiss me again.
“What are you doing?!”
I snapped my head in the direction of the voice. An older blonde lady stood with a scornful face.
“How can you do something so indecent here!” She yelled, her eyes casting venom. “This’s a market, a market! You can only eat food here!” She pointed back to the stalls.
How did she even get here, this place was dark.
“Lord, younglings these days are unbearable.” She spat, entering the corner.
I moved back involuntarily thinking she was stepping closer to us, only for her to bend down, picking a bucket filled with something.
I hadn't noticed that when we entered.
I looked up at the now silent Theo, and he was glaring, hard at her frame. An expression I have never seen him with.
He must be very angry.
“Oh my potatoes, you better not be rotten!”
“Theo,” I held his shirt and nudged him. I bet if he were with a gun, he would have probably shot her.
“What are you looking at? How dare you glare after being caught!”
I turned to her, but her words were directed at Theodore, who looked like a ticking bomb, ready to explode.
What was he so angry about? I took a sigh and stepped in front of him, then bowed.
“We are sorry, we’ll leave for the market now,” I said, but another word followed.
“We aren't sorry.”
I gasped as I was pulled backward, making me rest on him. “Piss off now, before I make you.”
The lady’s face turned into shock, and so was mine.
I turned sharply to Theo and murmured. “You can't speak to her that way.”’
“What?” The older asked dumbfounded. This wasn't about to be good.
