Chapter 76
Eros Robinson’s POV
Since Freshia's true past was revealed, she seems to be daydreaming more often. Several times I caught her staring blankly when we were eating together or when I entered her room. I knew that what I wanted was for her to know the truth of her past and be able to rely and rely on me more. I just want her to realize that I am indeed the best for him.
However, when I saw her being quieter than before, my heart said something else. I don't like this. Like at dinner this time, Freshia was lost in thought again. She didn't immediately respond when I called her name and this was my third call, until finally I immediately touched her hand to interrupt her thoughts. “Freshia.” Call me for the fourth time.
Freshia just realized and turned to me. "Yes, Eros?" The answer is then.
I took a deep breath, then returned her gaze. “You're spacing out again, Freshia. I've been calling you for a long time but you haven't turned around. What else are you thinking about right now?” I asked, continuing to try to hold back my patience.
"I'm sorry, Eros. Actually, I didn't think about anything. It's just that I still don't believe all the stories about my past and now I have to find out the fact that my grandmother did all that." Freshia whispered.
Seeing her like that, made my heart move again. Then I finally suggested to her that he go back to counseling with George so that she could accept more about her past. "How? Do you agree, Freshia?” I asked to make sure.
Freshia was silent and seemed to think for a moment. "Yes, it looks like I have to do that, Eros."
"Okay, then let me make an appointment with George tomorrow so you can consult with him immediately. However, I cannot accompany you directly, Freshia, because there is work that I cannot leave behind. I will order my men to accompany you and look after you."
"Okay, thank you, Eros."
Next, I immediately contacted George and asked him to schedule a Freshia consultation tomorrow. I just want Freshia to recover and refocus on her current life. Including me.

Freshia Ava's POV
In accordance with Eros' advice last night, I came back to the hospital where George does his practice, to do counseling with him again. As usual, not long after I waited, a nurse who was George's assistant called my name. After that, I immediately told George everything about my situation after my true past was revealed.
George just listened to me silently and waited until everything I wanted to say was finished. “Bygones be bygones, Freshia. Actually, it's just a matter of time before you will accept all the truth sooner or later. However, if left unchecked we won't know when that will happen. There are also some people who can only make peace with their lives after some time, depending on the trauma and its treatment. I suggest you to be more active and focus your thoughts on other things that are more important and beneficial to you." George said giving his best advice and advice to me.
“Find any activity that you like and that will distract you from that. I will also tell Eros so that he can take you for a walk so that you can refresh yourself from the tiredness of the problems you feel and have to go through," George said again.
After that, we talked some more and George prescribed me some medicine to take for a while. I spent almost twenty minutes consulting with him until finally the consultation was finished and I immediately said goodbye and thanked him, then left his room.
I had just finished giving my prescription to the officer in the pharmacy section before suddenly someone bumped into my body as I was about to turn around. Bruukk! The woman immediately apologized but I just turned to her and saw her face, it turned out she was someone I knew very well.
Amara. Her face was so shocked when she saw me at that time that she covered he4 mouth because she was so shocked. “Freshia, shouldn't you be with Martin abroad? How can you still be here?” she asked.
I was silent for a moment, not immediately responding to her words. Instantly my memory was thrown back to the time when she just left me. "I didn't go with Martin." My answer is short. “You have no right to determine my life, Amara. Whether I will stay here or I will leave this country, are all my decisions that I can take consciously. Honestly, I was a little disappointed with you when you just left me. But I also understand your condition, where you have to choose family as a priority."
Amara lowered her head when she heard my words. “I'm sorry if this has caused you and your family difficulties, Amara. I would understand if you were honest with me about your situation and feelings. But what I don't understand is why you had to just leave and leave me with thousands of questions in my head. Isn't our friendship enough for you to be more open with me?" I said back.
“But if you choose this way, I can't do anything but accept it. Thank you for everything you have done for me, Amara. I hope your future life will always be easy and you can continue to be a good person." I said something to her again, but this time my words succeeded in making her look back at me.
“I'm sorry, Freshia. But I didn't mean it like that. I did all this because I thought that this was the best for my family. Sorry if I don't understand you. But if I may ask, where do you live now, Freshia? Is Eros coming after you again?"
I smiled at her, then patted her shoulder lightly. “No need to worry about me anymore, I live in a safe place that can meet all my needs. Focus on your life and your family, Amara. Then, I'll take my leave." I replied and then immediately turned back to the pharmacy room which happened to have just called my name.
Honestly, my heart hurts so much and I can't contain my sadness when I have to face Amara like a stranger. My heart wasn't that strong even though I had to act at all costs, so I decided to go to the bathroom for a moment to vent a little of my emotions.
Arriving at the bathroom, which happened to be empty at that time, I stood in front of the sink and looked at my reflection in the mirror. Seeing how my face is no longer enthusiastic and my mood is ruined. I immediately decided to wash my face to calm myself and that's when I heard the sound of the bathroom door opening so I assumed that there was someone other than me in the bathroom.
However, when I turned back to look at my reflection again, someone was standing behind me and staring at me intently. That's Martin. With a grin, he stood right behind me and looked at me through the mirror in front of us. Then a split second later he used a handkerchief to cover my nose and mouth until suddenly my body felt weak and my consciousness slowly disappeared when I smelled the fragrance coming from the handkerchief.
