Chapter 56 - Freedom.
Chapter 56 - Freedom.
She had done it before, so it wouldn’t be hard to do. But now she felt a power next to Lincoln’s. Her power, that is, faced herself. Sera would have to fight against herself, not to bring hatred, anger and rancor to the lineage of her children.
Lincoln turned into the big dark grey wolf that attacked her soon after. Sera turned away and turned into a brown wolf and did the same. She jumped on the other wolf and growled.
Sera could feel the strength of her mother’s wolf beside her. Her growl was strong and frantic, all the anger that both felt from that man was there.
Sera knocked her father down and with a kick hurt his eye. At that moment, her wolf appeared in his place and the omega felt immense pain in the same place where he had wounded Lincoln’s wolf.
Sera screamed, but still she continued to attack him. A bite hurt his neck and they shouted in unison. She felt the wound open in her neck and bleeding, just like his. She was hurting too, but that was the only way.
Taking advantage of the moment, Lincoln threw her to the ground in a strong thud that demonstrated the strength of the attack. Sera stood up, showing her fangs.
"Is that all you can do, Sera?" Lincoln mocked her. "A wolf who doesn’t know how to be a wolf. 'Cause I took it from you." He laughed at her in a mocking tone. "My presence will always be with you, Sera. In the shadows of your hatred."
Sera can feel the power of Ada in her body, both united as one. He could mock and laugh at her, but she had killed him and would also kill his presence in her mind.
"I killed you once and I will do it again." Her hatred could be seen in your gaze. "Come on, let’s get it over with, Lincoln."
The brown wolf jumped on the gray wolf as hard as possible. They rolled down the hill through the forest. Bites and smears, both howling and growling at every attack and feeling of pain. Sera could feel the pain twice, but even tired she could give up.
They fell to the ground, Lincoln’s paw was twisted and as a result, Sera’s too. Both had wounds on their face, arms and legs. Sera’s rib had also taken a deep bite, which made her move with difficulty.
Until she realized there was no other way but to strike the heart. Even if it were very brief, she would have to be strong and brave. Limping, Sera approached the other wolf. Tiredness was also stamped on his face. But the intensity of challenge was also in his gaze.
Lincoln stood up, ready for the last attack, the hateful and rancorous glances met and finally one attacked the other at its weakest point.
Sera could hear her mother’s voice in her mind: I’m with you, we’ll get it" And with that support, the omega managed to throw him against the ground once more and wound his heart with its wars.
She felt a great pain, but as his heart broke and his body fell motionless to the ground, Sera’s remained intact.
When she got up, her body had changed, it was her in human form that was there. Sera came closer and watched closely, she was crying in that state:
"He hurt us so much, it’s impossible to forget. It’s impossible to forgive. It’s impossible to move on." The other Sera sobbed in fetal position, like a child who was trapped in a dark room and could not get out.
The real Sera crouched and embraced her other version and kissed her blood-stained forehead.
" He is no longer here. He can’t hurt us, control or use us. I promise you everything will be fine. And that no one will make us go through the same thing he did. We are strong now, we are able to defend ourselves."
The eyes identical to hers watched her with a feeling of insecurity." Do you promise? Do you promise me? "
Sera smiled and shook her hand, showing confidence." I promise. "
And after hearing these words, the other Sera closed her eyes and with a smile, her body dissolved into dust.
Will finally, could rest. She crawled under a tree and leaning on his trunk, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
A peep can be heard soon after. Twilight stood by her and said, "Rest up, girl."

Hours passed until Sera woke up. She noticed the crow sleeping on her shoulder and asked, happy to see him:
"What are you doing here?"
"It’s my duty to follow the master’s orders and protect you brats. And of course someone as powerful as me could get in ANYWHERE."
Sera laughed, it was good to have a relief after so much tension.
"And what can the great crow advise me at this time?" Sera asked.
"Well..." Twilight looked at the horizon. "There’s a special place you should go now. Maybe you’re already feeling it."
And he was right, there was something drawing her in that direction. In this way, Sera stood up, staggeringly and almost falling as the blood dripped from her wounds. Still, she smiled, satisfied. She had defeated her past. He had defeated Lincoln Cohen. And now, her lineage would be free from that hatred.
Sera kept walking, moving away from the place of that battle to a better place. As she walked, she found a lake. Of course, that gave her chills after the event with Karim, but she had to persist.
Her steps were slow, the pain still affected his body and Lincoln’s words still penetrated like blades in her mind. But the smile still remained on her face.
Sera sat down by the lake and dipped her feet in the water. It felt good, a feeling of freshness and cleanliness. She took a deep breath until she felt comfortable in the water.
Fortunately, nothing happened. It was good to relax after so much struggle and stress. Sera closed his eyes until he heard laughter. Three children were around her, just as she had seen the day before their wedding.
Sera reached out her arms, silently, asking them to hug her. And those children identical to her and Karim embraced her.
Sera couldn’t stand it and started crying when she noticed that they were all right and there was no negative feeling in their souls. They were happy and that made the tears more intense.
"How I love you. I need you to know that." Sera said, squeezing his son and two daughters against their breast. "You will be happy, I promise you." Sera kissed your brows and the children smiled." Promise me and your father won’t die until then. I promise you."
Looking up at the sky and closing his eyes, while the children disappeared, Sera made a silent prayer." Mother, please protect Karim. May he return safely home.
"Karim, wherever you are, please be well. Come back to us and our children. We’ll see you again soon. I promise."
