Chapter 55 - Weapons

Chapter 55 - Weapons

Wolf Paws was at full steam after Sera’s group left. The school was a source for wolves that could be controlled and transformed.
Director Dawood ordered that protections against and entry of enemies be made, with the help of Elora Abiyoe. There were machines and technologies ready to identify shadow wolves and other executioners.
Also, her best students were on guard at the gate, ready to fight or call for help.
It was with these tense thoughts that Yelena fell asleep the day before and also woke up the next day.
She stood up, her black hair was caught in a loose ponytail and only a large white shirt covered her body.
Yuji slept peacefully next to her. She removed a lock of hair from his face and kissed his lips, smiling at how much he loved him and how lucky he was to rest carelessly.
Yelena put on her college uniform as usual, tightening her tie tight and left. In the hall, she noticed that several students were feeling the same way as her. The yawns and dark circles denounced this.
She walked through the hallways to the science lab. Several high-tech equipment were sent by the Abiyoe for use by Wolf Paws. Helping wounded students against something unknown was essential to a more in-depth scientific study.
Chemical weapons could be created to help their side, it just didn’t have the main ingredient yet. Until someone knocked on the door and came in.
"Yelena, how nice that you are here." Cordelia smiled, but she was most certainly the most tired of all. "We have a visitor who will be very useful."
Someone entered the laboratory, it was a bright-eyed crow carrying two vials of something resembling blood. Yelena recognized the animal at the same time, it was one of Jae Hyun’s Ravens.
The animal put the objects on a table and gave a relieved sigh: "Ufa, I could not bear to carry this anymore." He said with a piping. "The master said that this blood can help to attack and defend in our war. Use little, it does not need much to create a weapon. Can also be added in the shields of protection. Use wisely, the master is not available at the moment." Twilight said, tired, throwing herself on the table too.
" And where is your master now? "The principal asked, curious, giving the crow a little water.
" He is holding back Kallias. He’s stuck with him in a secret dimension. We don’t even know where it is. But I’m sure he won’t be back anytime soon. The master left some things prepared, but we cannot depend on him alone."
"Thank you, Corvin. You’re a great help." Yelena stroked his head, thanking him.
"Hey, lady, I’m not a pet. I’m a warrior. A special crow created by the master. You won’t be found out, no." Twilight said, trying to look angry, but she was enjoying the affection.
Yelena laughed and took the bottles to analyze. The crow was a peculiar being, she could tell.
" Well, I’m going." Twilight said arrogantly." The girl needs my help." He whistled, showing off.
"Are you talking about Sera?" Cordelia asked, curious and concerned at the same time, approaching the table where Twilight was.
"Where are the others, anyway?" Yelena also approached, she and Yuji were worried about the friends, but they knew that they could not interfere with their journey.
"What is it? Everyone on me now?" The crow gave a sharp peep and a bored look, as if he was wasting time. "Okay, Sera" is" stuck in a tree, Karim is in a coma and the others will probably come here. That’s all I can say, see you later. I’m going to go before you two lock me up here for a while longer." Twilight said, chirping and flapping her wings, went out the window and disappeared.

Yelena and Cordelia stared at each other for a few seconds, but there was no time to think of an egocentric Raven. The younger one began to analyze blood and think of ways to use it for war benefits.
Cordelia left her alone and Yelena was so concentrated that she didn’t even notice the presence of her omega there.
"What have you found so far?" Yuji’s voice rang in her ears and she jumped up, scared.
Yuji laughed at her, "I’m sorry, you should see your face." He continued laughing until she pulled him against her body and gave him a kiss. "Help more, instead of playing."
"Yes, ma'am." He gave that cute smile she couldn’t give up.
"Come help me analyze that blood." She shook his hand in the process, her greatest fear in this war was losing her precious omega. Yelena kissed his hand, showing affection. There was no certainty that she would do it again.
The analysis was a bit slow and, in these moments, reality came to light when shadows were seen around the school. Even with the Crow of Jae Hyun helping to protect the place, each fight between a black bird and a wolf reminded her of the situation they were in.
After a few minutes, where Yelena took the opportunity to tease Yuji with kisses, the result was ready. And really, it was a blood of something she had never seen before, someone who really wasn’t like them.
At that moment someone opened the door, it was her mother and father. Her progenitor had dark hair, as well as hers, and gray eyes.
Yelena ran to hug them and show the news. Her father, Octaviano Petrova, put the glasses on to start the analysis and together they sketched out ideas of how to use that blood.
"I’m glad you’re finally getting along." Your mother smiled as she saw Yuji working with her husband.

"Me too. I don’t know how I could not notice for so long. Maybe I’m someone very stupid." She laughed, looking at her omega and smiling in a dainty way.

Soon, the women joined the team and there were some more doctors and scientists outside. Yelena’s father smiled, a mischievous smile that had made Mrs Petrova fall in love with him.

"I have an idea, it may be risky, but I think your director might agree." All looked at each other for a few seconds and soon after went to the room of director Cordelia.

The woman joined her hands and put her elbows above the table. And after she pondered the edge of that decision, she made an affirmative sign with her head.

The ancestral wolves still surrounded the school. Students were already transformed into their lupine forms and ready for the plane. The window was opened with only a small gap. The enemy’s anger and pride was so great that he fell into the trap and crossed.

Fortunately, only one did it, which was enough for the plan. A simple rope, with Jae Hyun’s blood, had been able to hold the ancestral wolf with accuracy. It was the perfect plan. After all, there was no better way to know how to defeat the enemy than by testing.

"What useless children, I will soon return to my kingdom. And you won’t get the information you need." He laughed, showing his pointed teeth, not caring about the fact that he was tied up.

"Don’t worry, we just need a little blood." Yelena smiled, excited to examine the creature.

And, as the creature had said, he disappeared into shadows. However, his blood was there and he would be the key to not using Jae Hyun’s in vain.
