Chapter 47 - Summoned
**Ayin's P.O.V.**
I'm going to kill that stupid fairy if it's the last thing I do. I had her in my clutches, but I forgot about her damn fairy dust. I was so excited seeing her flying around in her tiny form I reacted before I could stop myself.
I saw Satan come and take away Malphas and heard what he said about us. He thinks he's going to be able to stop us, but he's wrong. When we take the keeper, it will be so fast he won't be able to do anything. The Darkness wants to take all three of Selene's daughters, but Therion and I know that would be too risky. We've decided to pretend to go along with her, but we have our own plan.
We've been taking turns watching the Blue Moon pack to work out the best time to attack, and we've decided it needs to be sooner rather than later. If we wait much longer, the pack is going to be even bigger. They already have lycan warriors, the stupid fairy, a dragon, a witch, and a vampire. Not to mention the three daughters of Selene and all the wolves. I move through the forest to the place where we've been hiding.
"Did you see anything?" The Darkness asks. It creeps me out that she can speak without moving her mouth. She scares both Therion and me, so that's why we have to stick together.
"'I saw Satan come and take Malpas back to hell. He told the keeper to let him know when we arrive so he can get us too. They don't expect us to attack right now, so we need to do it tomorrow. We're going to have to be fast so they can't summon him, so we need to get the keeper and get out." Before I finish speaking, The Darkness is in front of me. I'm a large demon, much bigger than her, but she terrifies the fuck out of me.
"We will get all three of them, and then we leave. Do I make myself clear?" She does that thing that makes me go blind, and my body feels numb.
"Yes. We'll get all three." I answer her. The Darkness moves away, and I return to normal. I look toward Therion, and he shakes his head. What should I do? He only wants to get the keeper, but she wants all three. Maybe I should get the keeper on my own and disappear. They can believe that we'll attack tomorrow, but I'll attack tonight. By the time they arrive, I'll have her and be gone.
"I'm going to go back to watch the pack. Meet me there first thing in the morning." I leave our hiding place and go back toward the pack. In a few hours, I'll have the keeper and all her power. Who needs to be part of the Triad when I can be stronger on my own? You're mine tonight, Hailey. I hope you're ready.

I'm exhausted. Mentally and physically. I'm at the point where I just want everyone who's going to come for the legends to do it so we can fight them and get it over with. Dante and I are heading to our room to get some much needed rest when we're suddenly flying through the air. Great. Looks like Mom wants to have a chat. Can't she give us some type of warning? When we land in her forest, I look around but don't see her at first. Dante takes my hand as we wait. A few minutes later, Mom walks out of the trees.
"You summoned us; the least you can do is be on time." I know I sound like a bitch, but I don't care. I'm tired.
"I apologize to you both, but I needed to bring you here immediately." My anger quickly subsides when I see the fear on her face.
"Why? What's wrong?" I ask as we take a step toward her.
"I know Satan got Maplhas, but the Triad isn't going to give you time to rest. They plan to attack right away, and I want you to be prepared. It won't be easy, but I believe you're surrounded by the best people to defeat them. Dante, you, Ellis, and Tony now possess the same powers as my daughters. You can suspend gravity so people float, you'll have healing abilities, and you'll have more power when the six of you are together." Dante and I look at each other. Some of what Mom said she had told us before. I've felt the power when my sisters and I are connected, so it scares me a little if we need all six of us to be connected to beat them. I'm not scared for myself. I'm terrified of losing someone in our battle.
"Mom, is there anything we can do to make sure everyone survives? I don't want anyone else to die because of me. We've already lost too many. Malphas killed Dante's parents, Leela, Carlos, Allison, and her parents. They all died because of the legends. I can't take losing anyone else." Mom walks over and wraps her arms around me. This time, I remember her hugging me before I came to earth. I break down and cry the tears I've held in for too long.
"I can't guarantee anything because nothing is guaranteed. However, if you trust in yourselves, you will have the best outcome possible. I'm going to let you go now so you can pass my message on to the others." Mom kisses my forehead and then kisses Dante's cheek. I see he's just as moved by her motherly love as I am. She may be a goddess to everyone else, but she's my mom.
"I love you, Mom," I tell her. She has tears in her eyes as she lets me go.
"I love you too, sweetheart. Be safe." Before we can say anything else, we fly through the air and land inside the packhouse. We run through the house to gather everyone and have them meet us inside the office. Dante will mindlink the rest of the pack, but we need our strongest to help us strategize. We include Ozzy and Brandie as well. I can tell she feels uncomfortable with everyone else, so I go over and hug her.
"Congratulations on finding your mate. I'm sorry we haven't spent more time getting to know each other. I promise when this is over, we'll come and visit, and I'd like you to visit us as well, okay?" Her face lights up as she hugs me back.
"Thank you." Sometimes, it's all about knowing you're not invisible in this big world. I spent years thinking people looked through me. Those years on the street were rough, but they're nothing compared to what we have going on now. In many ways, those days seemed to be a walk in a park now.
"What's going on?" Jessi asks. I need some pup cuddles.
"Can I hold Camilla, please?" I ask her. She nods and hands the pup to me. Camilla's so innocent and sweet. I hug her tight and sit on Dante's lap. He leans over and kisses her forehead. I want this. I'm ready for us to have a pup of our own, but not until we're done with this.
"Mom pulled us to her realm. She said the Triad is getting ready to attack, so we need to be prepared. They don't want to give us time to rest. She also said that Dante, Ellis, and Tony have the same power me and my sisters do, and we're going to need it to defeat them." I look around and see my fear reflected in everyone's eyes.
"We'll let's get ready to kick a little demon, monster and witch ass," Jessi says. I'm pretty sure she's the only one not scared. Well, she and Davina. I don't think anything scares the fairy as she stands to the side, humming while she giggles and twirls. Is it wrong that I want a song right now? We need something to make us laugh.
"What are you humming?" I ask Davina. She beams at me.
"I was just wondering if the demon and the monster take turns with the witch, or do they all have sex together?" She says, looking thoughtful.
"How do you know they're having sex at all?" Kerri asks her. Davina giggles.
"Of course they are. What do you think about this?"
*"The demon and the monster. The demon and the monster. Do they double-team the witch, or do they take turns? The demon and the monster. The demon and the monster. Do they double-team the witch, or do they take turns?"*
We all burst out laughing. We definitely needed this laugh. I'm going to miss Davina and her silly songs when she leaves.
