After I had my soda and calmed myself a bit I went to bed. Lucifer can work eventually without worrying about me and everything can go back to normal. Except things are not normal I have a vampire for a dad. I was tossing and turning for about an hour when Lucifer walked into the room. “I can hear you toss and turn from the living room, what’s going on?” He asked as he came to sit next to me on the bed. I got in a sitting position. “I thought when Gabriel was dead things will return to normal but now, I have to worry about the fact that I have a vampire as a father.” “Why do you worry about that? Your biological father not the father who raised you.” “I know but I keep on thinking about my dad who raised me did he know about them? Did he know about me? I have so many questions.” “I get it love but I’m very sure Heath is on his way to New York right now.” “How do you know?” “Well, he found his daughter someone he thought he would never be able to see and now you know, it’s just natural that he wants to see you and explain because just as many questions as you have, I’m sure he has.” “That is probable true. One thing that is great news for us is the fact that I’m a healthy living breathing human made by a human and a vampire. We can have children Lucifer.” I had such a big smile on my face because if there is one thing I’m taking away from the fact that I have a vampire for a dad is the fact that we can have children. Lucifer smiled at me.
“I actually spoke to Cruze about children he said he thinks they where just unlucky because they tried so late in life, but he did say it comes with complications.” “Any pregnancy comes with complications Lucifer.” “I’m not saying no love I’m just repeating what Cruze said. Now should I go and make you some hot chocolate or something?” “No, I’ll try to sleep, thank you Lucifer.” “For what?” “For not saying no.” “My love if you only know it’s very difficult to say no to you.” “I think I like that.” He kissed me on the forehead and I laid down again, pulling the duvet to under my chin, eventually after I counted some sheep, I fell asleep.

I didn’t want to tell Kid, but Heath was in contact with me, I have no idea where he got my number but his indeed on his way to New York. I didn’t want to tell her because I was scared something happens and he doesn’t pitch then she will be disappointed but it sounded like he will move heaven and earth to see her.
Things were getting back to normal I didn’t have to worry about Kid when she goes to bed, which means I can give more attention to my galleries, I had a few exhibits coming up and I had to make sure everyone was ready for it. I was working way into the morning hours, it felt so good every time I went to check on Kid she was asleep and nothing was bothering her, I didn’t realize how much this whole ordeal has worked on me as well, I mean I’m the one that brought Gabriel into her life so it was basically all my fault. I poured myself another espresso and watch as the sun came up. In the beginning it was such a treat for me watching the sun come up but after so many years the thought that goes through my mind before Kid was how many more of these do I have to see? Now that I have Kid, I want to spend as much time with her as I can. I will never turn her and make her a vampire I will never do that to her. I want to see her get old and our children getting older with each birthday it something I’m very excited about it’s the only reason why I yet again enjoy the sunrise.
Kid wasn’t awake yet when there came a call from the front desk. “Lucifer good morning.” “Sir here’s a Heath for you at the front desk.” “You can send him up.” It was so early do I wake Kid up or do Heath and I have a conversation before she wakes up. I think I will stick to that he has to know that Kid is nothing like the other women before her, she’s my everything she’s my finance my soon to be wife and the mother of my children. It didn’t take Heath long to knock on the door. I went to the bedroom and closed the door, making sure we didn’t disturb Kid. Angel was the one at the door. “Heath nice to see you.” Angel said. “You to.” He looked at Niki “And you are?” “Niki and you are?” I though Heath would say ‘I’m Heath’ but no he led with “I’m Kids father.” With everything that happened last night we didn’t tell Niki about the plot twist. Niki looked at me and then at Angel. “We all found out last night in Kid’s dream.” “Oh” Niki said before they left Heath and me alone. “Why do you have 2 vampires as bodyguards?” He asked “They not for me they are for Kid.” “What do you mean they are for Kid? Is her life in so much danger?” “You want some coffee?” “Yes please.” I went to the kitchen and poured him a cup. “Let’s talk before she wakes up.” “She still sleeping?” “Yes, Heath she had a hard few months.” “Because of Gabriel?” “Yes, because of Gabriel and after we killed him last night, she struggled to fall asleep because of you.” “Because of me but why?” “You really asking me why?”
