I followed because it was like 3 in the morning and for some reason I was worried about her.” “Why was she out at 3 in the morning?” “She’s been working for David in a Bar.” “Like in vampire David?” “Yes, I found that out the second night I went looking for her.” “Oh God, I wanted her far away from my kind but my kind found her.” “You could also say she found us, something in her was attracted to us.” He just looked at me like I was talking nonsense and there is no way on this earth that she would be seeking out people like him.

“I take it she’s not your servant?” “Truthfully we started out that way, I was hell bend on killing her in 2 years.” I could see Heath was getting ready to attack. “You don’t have to hurt me Heath we are not there anymore in fact she’s my fiancé we got engaged 2 days ago.” “She can’t marry you.” He said shocked.  “And why not?” “Look at what happened with this Gabriel guy I still don’t know how he found out about me but he was your enemy Lucifer, your enemies will always come for her.” We haven’t notice Kid walking in but we did hear her “Then we will fight them together like we did Gabriel.” Heath was shocked to see Kid without make up and a sweat pants and a hoodie she still looked like a child, if I didn’t know how old she was I might have thought the same. “Hi love.” I pulled her to me and gave her a kiss. “How did you sleep?” I ignored Heath completely I needed to attend to my love right now. “So much better after I knew Gabriel was dead but the protection spell helped to.” “You went to a witch?” Heath asked us shocked. “We did it was the only way to keep the council out of this.” “I see” Heath said as he took a seat probable to look less intimidating for Kid. “You want some coffee?” “Oh yes please.” Kid went to sit on the couch opposite Heath. She just sat and looked at him. She didn’t say a word neither did he. I brought her her coffee and she took a long sip before she held the cup in both hands.

I heard voices when I woke up and open the door. It wasn’t Angel or Niki’s but it was definitely Lucifer and another man it sounded like Heath but I wasn’t sure. I went back into the bedroom and got dressed in a hoodie and sweatpants I couldn’t go out in my PJ’s. When I walked out I heard Heath say we can’t get married because Lucifer’s enemies will always come for me, but I won’t make the same mistake my mother made, if Heath was the love of her life she should have stayed with him and that is what I’m doing I’m staying with Lucifer I don’t care what we have to face as long as we face it together. And that is exactly what I told Heath when I walked into the living room. Lucifer got me a coffee and I went to sit down opposite Heath just looking at him trying to see if I have any features of him. I always thought I was more my mother than my father because my father was very dark with his black hair and dark features where as my mom was light with blond hair and green eyes, when I looked at Heath, he had the same color eyes I did, blue but his was so clear.

He cleared his throat and started to speak “I’m sorry you had to find out like you did.” “If Gabriel didn’t make you part of his game, would you have ever come and looked for me?” “Honestly no, I promised your mom and dad I will never look for you; I didn’t want my enemies to become your enemies and neither did they. You’ve seen first hand what can happen when you cross a vampire and I have crossed a few in my time.” “How?” I asked I know that is probable the last thing I really wanted to know but we had to start somewhere. “How did a cross the vampires?” “Yes, if you didn’t come and look for me because you crossed a few vampires including the one that killed my mom and dad, how did you do that. Why where they so afraid your enemies will come after us? Or me?” “Well, I wasn’t a good man Kid until the day I met your mother then everything changed I changed.” “But you didn’t hold on to her, how I couldn’t think how my life will be without Lucifer and I will never have to find out.” “You can’t say that Kid, there is so many things that can happen to us, especially if you have enemies.” “We got rid of the enemy I had.” Lucifer jumped in. “You lived a very long time Lucifer you really thing Gabriel was your only enemy?” “In all honesty yes, I do.” “Then you are more naïve than I ever thought.”
