Chapter 188: Justice Served
Chapter 188: Justice Served
I turned around, glanced at her, and said, "I brought you here to show you what happens to people who hurt you."
With that, I took Jane's hand and kicked open the tightly shut door.
Inside, there was a chair, and Katherine was tied to it, just like how she had tied up Jane before.
Seeing me and Jane walk in hand in hand, Katherine, with her mouth gagged, shook her head desperately. Before I came, I had already told Ryan to teach Katherine a good lesson.
Of course, Jamie wasn't idle either. He was the type to hold grudges.
Katherine had hired people who not only crashed into his car but also dragged him out and beat him up badly.
Earlier today, when I came over, I called Jamie too.
Jamie arrived late. When he entered the small house with his injuries, and saw Katherine, he was so angry he could barely speak.
He pointed at Katherine and started cursing, "It's this damn bitch. Fuck, she not only got a truck to crash into my new sports car, but also hired people to beat me up."
"Damn it, beating me up is one thing, but they specifically went for my face. My face is the one thing I hate people touching the most."
"Andrew, tell me, what should I do next?"
After all, I was the one who had Katherine tied up and brought here, so even if Jamie wanted revenge, he had to see what I thought.
Without even glancing at Katherine, I said directly to Jamie, "Now, you can get your revenge."
After hearing this, a fierce look appeared on Jamie's face.
He walked over to Katherine and pulled out the cloth stuffed in her mouth. Katherine had already sensed the danger coming. She shrank back, trying to retreat.
Unfortunately, she was tied to the chair and had nowhere to go.
She said to Jamie, seeing his fierce expression, "Don't touch me. This is a crime. You have to let me go."
Hearing this, Jamie almost laughed in anger.
He slapped Katherine hard across the face.
He cursed, "Bitch, now you're telling me I'm committing a crime? When you hired people to crash my car, why didn't you say you were committing a crime?"
"And when you had people beat me up, why didn't you say that was a crime?"
"Watch me beat you to death today. You deserve this."
After Jamie finished speaking, he raised his hand and beat Katherine viciously. The sound of the slaps made my eardrums tremble.
I never bothered to personally deal with people like this, but I was happy to watch her pay the price.
I told the people guarding outside the small house to get a chair for Jane to sit in, and together we coldly watched as Jamie slapped Katherine again and again with heavy blows.
"You bitch, didn't you say you'd have your people beat me to death?"
"Let me beat you to death first today."
Jamie showed no mercy. In no time, Katherine's face was swollen and bruised.
Afraid this bloody scene would scare Jane, I only let her watch for a while before taking her out of the small house.
Jane's expression had softened somewhat. She asked me with some concern, "Will Jamie lose control and beat Katherine to death?"
I smiled and shook my head. "No. But of course, even if Katherine gets beaten to death, she deserves it."
Hearing my words, Jane looked confused. She looked at me with a puzzled expression.
"Do you remember Seraphina, the one Michael had locked in the box?"
I asked Jane.
Jane nodded. Although she and Seraphina had only met once, they had been through life and death together. That day at Michael's apartment, if she hadn't chosen to save Seraphina, Seraphina would have either died at Michael's hands or in Dino's bed.
"What about Seraphina? Does she have something to do with Katherine?"
Jane asked me.
Many things were cruel. I wanted to protect Jane and give her a simple living environment, but I still had to let her know about the reality and filth of society.
I said softly, "The idea for Michael to kidnap a girl to please Dino came entirely from Katherine."
"Moreover, Michael bought Seraphina through Katherine."
My words made Jane's brow furrow suddenly. She probably hadn't expected that Katherine, such a seemingly fragile girl, could do something so evil.
"How can she be so cruel?" Jane asked helplessly.
I sneered.
"If she weren't cruel, would she have deliberately drugged Elise, making her mentally unstable and showing symptoms of mental illness, and then used Elise's confused state to have her attack you and take your life?"
My words made Jane shudder.
If Thora hadn't rushed to the Gonzalez Villa that day, and if Thomas hadn't arrived in time to save Jane, Jane would probably have died at the hands of the mentally ill Elise.
"Jane, sometimes what your eyes see isn't the whole truth."
"I've already had Ryan investigate. Over the years, as Michael's assistant, Katherine has done plenty of bad things to gain Michael's favor."
"To achieve her and Michael's goals, she has cruelly caused the deaths of two innocent girls."
"So Jamie's beating today is nothing compared to that."
My words made beads of sweat appear on Jane's forehead. She lifted her face and looked at me.
"Maybe you think I'm cruel, but when dealing with cruel women like Katherine, you have to use cruel methods."
I didn't soften my stance. Katherine deserved the punishment she was getting.
At this moment, Katherine's painful screams from inside the house grew louder and louder. Jane no longer had any sympathy for Katherine.
"I heard from Ryan that Thea has been taken by the police for questioning. What about Nancy? Where did she go?" Jane lifted her face and asked me.
I took her hand and led her to another small house next to this one.
Standing at the door of this house, I smiled and said to Jane, "Doesn't she like drugging people with aphrodisiacs? Well, I'm letting her experience what it's like to be drugged with an aphrodisiac herself."
With that, I pushed open the window and looked inside.
