HEAVY RAIN
Jackson was sitting with Carlos and the twins at the dining table with a lot of food, and a few guests that came to the party who were selected by Carlos, who didn't want any drama or pack members that didn't like him.
They were all sitting patiently listening to the music that was being played by a pianist at the other end of the mall.
Carlos leaned closer to Jackson. "Are you sure you invited him?" Carlos inquired.
"Yea, I did. I sent a message to his house, but I felt he wouldn't see it, so I sent some warriors to go check up on him." Jackson replied. The sounds of the thunder outside overshadowed the music.
"I don't think he is going to come, dad. I think it's gonna rain," Anthony said.
"He is definitely going to come; he can't refuse the invite of the alpha." Carlos said confidently.
"I pray he is going to come." Anthony half shrugged. Stealing a glance at Andrew, who was drinking alcohol, not caring if they existed. The memory of how Ava broke down in tears got to him and he couldn't think straight.
"Have you freed my wolf?" Andrew inquired.
"I haven't. I think it's your feelings this time. You are a werewolf with feelings. Although I live in you, I am not you and I can't suppress your feelings." the beast said.
"You're right, I can't believe I'm hurt by the whole thing. Was killing her really a good thing? Or was Jordan a liar?" Andrew concluded.
"We never know. If you want to know if he is a real seer, you can always ask a witch to tell you." The beast suggested.
"You are right, but I don't want to go near any more witches." Andrew replied.
"I feel you, boy," the beast said.
Heavy rain began to fall in the pack, causing all of the warriors who were standing outside to rush into the castle, their wet coats and bodies dripping with water and the heavy breeze passing through the castle's door.
Two warriors closed the door at great speed with the rain started getting in. It looked like the rain didn't have a direction and it was falling at every angle.
Carlos dropped his drink on the table and stood up, pointing his index finger at the warrior that was standing close to the door.
"Why did you close the door? Open it!" Carlos declared. The warriors looked at themselves as if Carlos was insane.
"The rain is literally getting in," one of them protested with a shaky voice.
"I said, open the door! I have guests on the way." Carlos said.
"Dad, I don't think he is coming. It's best if we just have our meal and go to bed." Andrew said, grabbing a chicken foot from the middle of the table.
"Shut up son, we're going to enjoy our meal while we wait for Jordan," Carlos said, grabbing his drink and drinking it all at once.
"I haven't seen you eat anything." Andrew said, biting into the chicken.
"I think we should cancel the party." Jackson suggested as water started getting into the castle through the holes that had been fixed by the builder. The water was sprinkling in every part of the hall, making all the guests scream and wrap their hands around themselves, including the women that were trying to protect their faces so their make-up wouldn't get ruined.
"What kind of building material did they use to fix this castle, carbon?" Andrew inquired, staring at the million cuisines on the table that were getting ruined by the water.
"Everyone needs to go home." Jackson said.
"No one is going to leave. We are here for a feast and we are going to have one." Carlos said in a authoritative voice.
The guests had no option but to get drenched in the rain as they stuffed the soaked food in their mouths, and the warriors opened the main door. Jackson shook his head as he felt the cold breeze that was coming from outside on his skin.
The rain started getting worse and it felt like it wanted to rip the castle apart. Andrew got up from his seat, rubbing his stomach, that he was satisfied. He wanted to head to his room when he started hearing the sound of walls cracking. He paused, looking around to see where the sound was coming from. When his gaze landed on the middle glass, and he saw the water causing a crack. Before he could speak out, the water burst the walls open and the glass landed on the guest standing in the middle.
"Oh my god, I think the goddess is furious." Anthony said sarcastically.
"What the heck?" Carlos exclaimed with his mouth wide open, staring at the broken glass particles on the floor.
"I think we should redesign this castle." Andrew suggested, and lifted the glass of the body of a woman he was stuck under.
The rain was getting into the castle now more than ever, and they felt like they were outside. The guests started running out of the castle one after the other.
"Argh!" Carlos grunted and hit his hand on the table, causing some food to fall off.
Carlos walked over to Jackson and held his shirt.
"I am so furious right now. Tonight was supposed to be a memorable night, but the fucking rain just had to ruin things, not just that the stupid Jordan never showed up." Carlos ranted and let go of his shirt.
"I never supported this party anyway," Jackson muttered to himself.
"What did you say?" Carlos asked, with a lot of anger in his voice.
"Nothing, I think this rain is pretty intense. It's probably gonna flood the whole castle," Jackson said as the rain started landing on his shoulders. It felt like the rain was smacking him.
Carlos grabbed a bottle of wine from the table and walked away with it. In the blink of an eye, the hall was empty.
"I am off to bed," Andrew announced and started walking toward the stairs.
