GRIEVING

His shirt was soaked with Ava's tears. He felt guilty, but he was only doing it to make his father trust and respect him. Andrew walked over to Belle's body on the floor and held her leg, dragging it on the ground toward the side of the backyard.

"At least treat her corpse with some respect," Ava said, covering her eyes with her hand, that it hurt that she wouldn't be able to face Belle's parents anymore.

"I can't believe we couldn't save her." Ivy said.

"I didn't see it coming, so it wasn't my fault," Ava whimpered.

"You need to stay strong and look for a way to avenge her death." Ivy said. Ava removed her hand from her eyes and stared at Carlos and Andrew, who were digging up the ground with shovels in their hands and Belle's corpse by the side.

"You are right, I will take my revenge and kill her father instead. I am going to fulfill her destiny. " Ava muttered to herself, narrowing her eyes at Andrew and his father, as other warriors started running in the backyard, asking Carlos to go and rest while they dug up Belle's grave.

Jackson opened his mouth wide in surprise as he kicked Belle's head on the floor. He grabbed her hair and lifted her head off the floor, staring at it as blood dripped from it.

He tossed it to the floor, immediately wiping the bloodstain on his hand on his pants when he sighted Ava standing in the corner with her hands folded and her face covered with tears.

He slowly walked over to Ava and pulled her in for a hug, but Ava pushed him away by the chest and looked up at him with teary eyes.

"She is dead. Isn't this what you all want?" Ava asked.

"Why are you talking this way to me? You know, it's not my fault that she had to die." Jackson answered, gazing at her. Ava chuckled.

"You are right, it's not your fault I..." Jackson cut in and wanted to embrace her.

"Leave me alone. I don't want your fake sympathy." Ava said, and started walking away. She glared at the warriors blocking her path with eyes that could kill. They all moved out of the way for her to pass, and she stomped away.

Jackson, saw the pieces of Belle's body scattered everywhere and noticed the bloodstains on Carlos's face. He walked over to Carlos, who was smiling brightly. It reminded him of the smile he had on the day he took over the pack.

"Come sit with me, Jackson." Carlos said, tapping an empty space on the wooden bench where he was sitting. Jackson rolled his eyes and sat next to him, lifting his upper lip in disgust.

"I am happy I have been able to get rid of that girl. I have been having sleepless nights because of her." Carlos said.

"How did you manage to find her? We went to her parents' house, but they were both gone." Jackson stated.

"Andrew brought her to me. I didn't know how he did it, but he walked into my room with her barefoot." Carlos said with a smile. Jackson frowned and stole a glance at Andrew, who was wiping sweat off his face and handing his shovel to a warrior.

"That is impressive. I have a feeling that Andrew also has a unique ability. You have to ask him about it." Jackson suggested.

"I will talk about that later, organize a feast tonight to celebrate this victory now that my castle is safe. I want you to invite Jordan tonight to see another vision of my pack if it is safe now." Carlos said in a deep voice. Jackson was disgusted by his demands but was happy that Ava was still safe. He heaved a sigh and got up from the bench.

"I will be off." Jackson said he was walking away when a warrior ran to him, telling him that Alexander was begging to see him.

"Don't tell the alpha about this." Jackson said and walked away as quickly as he could.

Andrew sat with his dad, drinking alcohol the maids were offering with a smile on their faces. A maid walked behind them and started wiping the bloodstains off their faces.

"Tell me something, son; how did you manage to get her here?" Carlos inquired.

"I just offered her a lot of money," Andrew replied bluntly. Carlos laughed it off, thinking Jackson wasn't sure of what he was saying.

"If you have a unique ability, you can tell me." Carlos said. Andrew's face flushed.

"I-I don't have any." Andrew replied bluntly.

"Okay, if you say so." Carlos concluded.

Hours later.

Carlos and Andrew gathered up the pieces of Belle's body together and threw her into the pit, and they all started pouring the sand back into the ground. Andrew stepped back, leaving the warriors to do the job. He started walking away back into the castle. He was starting to feel awful.

"Is this your first time killing someone?" the beast asked.

"Hell no, it's just that I feel bad because she is too young to die and she is Ava's friend." Andrew replied.

"This is unlike you. Snap out of it and go get a cold shower. You will feel better." the beast advised.

Andrew slowly walked down the hallway and opened his room. He slammed the door and headed to the bathroom. He switched on the shower, bathing with his clothes on. He ran his hands through his hair and sighed.

Ava got kicked out of Belle's parents' house when they found out that their daughter was dead. They didn't want to see Ava because she reminded them of their daughter. Ava sat on their front porch with her back against their door, weeping hard as the memories of Belle flashed in her memories. She was also hurt and didn't blame her parents for throwing her out of their house.

Heavy thunderstorms and claps of thunder were heard in the sky as a heavy breeze started blowing in the pack. Ava felt like the moon goddess was angry because of the death of Belle.
