Chapter 29
Bella had had enough of the shopping and in reality all she wanted to do was go home. Her mother and Liz had dragged her to about twenty stores and they had gained that they were helping her to look for the perfect dress. she had groaned about all of the dresses that she wore. She didn't like it and said that they weren’t good enough. She didn’t want anything too revealing and she was perfectly content with wearing something that was big and puffy like a ball gown. They had decided to stop at Diamond last and it was actually one of her favorite stores.
She had decided that if she didn’t want anything there that she would give up so getting a dress wasn’t a big deal and so she didn’t care about how she looked and it was mainly here for mum and Liz that they were worried. She searched through the racks and she found a sequined dress that had lace trimmed and it was a royal blue color. She found herself drawn to it and she didn’t know why but the color reminded her of the eyes of the wolf that she had been seeing.
She had decided to try it on and she had allowed her mum and Liz to pick out others for her. She had tried several of the dresses on. But none of them seemed to really be her style and she could tell that they were slowly starting to give up on the prospect of finding her a dress. She turned to look towards the last dress and she knew that it would be good for her, for some reason she had a good feeling about this one in particular as he took it into her hands.
“We are just going to go and see if we can do something else for you. We are going to get you exactly what you are looking for.'' She heard her mum call out and she didn’t bother to respond to them as they took the dress into her hands. she admired it before she unzipped it and clipped it on. She turned towards the mirror and gasped at the sight as she realized just how beautiful it looked on her.
It made her blue eyes stand out and it showed enough cleavage yet left much to the imagination. she smiled as she made her way out of the stall to show her mum and Liz and she knew that they would love it,
But she immediately stopped in her tracks when she saw Nicole standing in front of her with a scowl on her face. “What are you doing here?” Bella found herself saying. “Well this is a clothing store. I Am here to shop for the party I am throwing tomorrow. I am surprised to see you here though. I thought that you didn’t even know where these dresses were.” she said with a snicker and she heard and her friends let out chuckled as well.
“Why are you having a party tomorrow? I thought that your birthday is next month. I am having a party, you know that.” Bella said to her. “Well yeah no one is coming to your party anyway. especially not with that hideous clothes on.” Nicole said and Bella stumbled back as she pushed her slightly.
“Stop.” she said to Nicole in a seething quest tone and she heard her let out a bellowing laughter as she extended her clothes. ‘What are you going to do? we know you can’t or are you going to use your witchy voodoo on me I ALWAYS knew you were a hag. now I think we should make you look like one.” Nicole said and she watched as the other girls extended their claws too and began making their way towards her,
Bella shook her head at them as she tried to move back but she heard a ripping sound as they ran their claws along her dress. She felt as the material began to rip and she felt utterly helpless. “please just stop.” she said as she stumbled to the ground. “You are so weak and pathetic.” She heard Nicole say as she felt the pain of the claws piercing her skin.
She felt something inside her snap as she felt her eyes glow blue. she rose to her feet causing the girls to stumble backwards. ‘’I am not pathetic.” she called out as she caused their bodies to levitate into the sir. She watched as they began to struggle against the hold of her magic that she had on them and she almost smirked as she revelled in the sight.
She tightened her hold on their necks restricting their air flow and she watched them struggle to breathe. She tried to stop herself when she saw that she was on the verge of killing them but she couldn’t. her eyes widened as she tried to stop the flow of magic but she panicked. She felt as suddenly someone placed their hands on her temples as they applied pressure. “You need to stop Bella or you will kill them." She heard her mother’s voice call out and she struggled but it was as though she had no control of her abilities.
“I can’t,” she cried out. and there was another pressure around her as she felt a mouth clamp around her neck. She whimpered before she felt her magic come over her again causing the person to be thrown off her.it was her mother and she turned to face her with a menacing growl the girls were unconscious going on and although she wanted to feel back for them and help them out she found herself unable to do that. She didn’t know why but she felt powerful as she held their lives in her hands. She let out a chuckle.
She felt the urge to snap their necks when suddenly she felt a hand on her head, passing a surge of energy flooded through her. “Sleep," she heard the voice commanded her and she felt as black dots covered her vision and a sense of fatigue came over her.
She watched as the girls fell to the ground and she watched as a blurred figure came to stand in front of her. “What the hell did you do?” was the last thing that she heard before passing out.
