Chapter 30

It is never too early of time to experience fear as It always comes to us in different ways. There are things that we think that we can control in our lives but it is n truly up to us. Bella knew that she was never going to make a good werewolf especially not with what had happened to her but she had always thought that she would make a good witch.

And yet here she was sitting outside the alpha s office and they deliberated on what punishment to give her and whether he was to be locked up in a cell for the crimes that she had committed. she knew that she should have said it but it felt as though this would be making a mockery of the word. How do you say sorry for almost killing six girls?

“She is reckless and she is a ticking time bomb. I won’t allow her to continue to roam the pack without having reparations.`` She heard the alphas yell and she winced nervously despite his hard tone. She knew that there was truth to his words. “she is still in training as she grows older she will gain better control of her powers and she will know how to use them better.'' She heard her dad stay and she almost laughed at how despite whatever she did he always amuse and at all to defend her. “this is her last chance. if she messes our again that we will have no choice but to put her in a sell.” she wanted and she didn't hear anything else after that. she guessed that they said something back to him in response.

She sighed as she shuffled her feet on the ground before she watched as her parents made their way out of the room.

They watched in assurance back towards the house until they made their way inside. “I am sorry.” she muttered as she took in her mother's tear stained cheeks. She didn’t know why she always seemed to make her mother cry even when she was not trying to. She wished that she could be more normal so that she could be the daughter that her mother wanted.

She watched as her mother sighed before making her way up the stairs and ignoring her. Her father turned towards her as he placed a kiss on her forehead. “she will get over it okay just give her some space.” he said and she nodded her head at him but she could tell that he too was disappointed. “I am terribly sorry dad. I didn’t mean to.” she said and he shook his head. “you nearly killed those girls today. I think it is my fault as I have been underestimating your magic for far too long." she said.

She sighed, unable to think of what to say to him in response as she watched him walk up the stairs as well. Eventually she was able to follow behind him as she found herself deep in her own thoughts. she didn’t know what she felt doing to her parents. they didn't deserve to go through all of this pain because of her. She lay down that she didn't know that when 12 struck there was going to be a shift in her life but she didn't know whether it would be good or back and in the end that was what scared her the most, the fact that she didn’t know.

At around 11 she found herself unable to sleep. She didn’t like her parents’ room to be angry with her and so she realized that she would go and apologize to them. she made her way out of her room as she moved over to their door. she didn't want to get caught by her and so she masked her scent so they wouldn’t be able to smell her. “I am worried about her Ezra. Is this normal for her to be like this.” she heard her mum say and she heard her had let out a sigh at her words in response. “no, I don’t believe that it is but it may be something to do with what happened to her when she was younger.”

“Bella furrowed her eyebrows at his words in understanding it. “well I don’t understand because we stopped her from being concerned about that alpha. How does it affect her now?” Her mother asked and she felt her blood run cold at her words as several questions rang through her head.

What was her mother talking about? What alpha?

“Well she is a hybrid. I have reason to believe that she is meant to find her mate at eighteen and the magic that we used to block her connection with her mate is having side effects on her which is causing her to act out. If we can suppress it tomorrow I can give her a drink that will help but it will help her numb all emotions.” she said to her in a warning tone.

She held her breath hoping that her mother wouldn't agree to this madness but then she heard her sigh. “Just do it as long as it will keep my baby safe. I will do anything I don’t want her to get locked up.” with that Bela pushed herself away from the floor. She couldn’t believe that her parents would do that to her, that they knew all this time who her mate was and they had tampered with her connection to him.

She felt something inside her break as she made her way into her room. she couldn’t do this anymore. She relaxed then that it was time for her to leave as she couldn’t stay in an unloving pack anymore. She packed a few clothes as she wrote her parents a letter.

By the time you read this I will be gone. I don’t want to see you or the pack for a long time. I know you were trying to keep me safe, but I don't think I will be able to forgive you for what you have done to me. I will always love you and I know deep down inside you thought you were protecting me but this was not that. I can't handle being the freak that has to be managed anymore. Don’t come looking for me because I will make sure you don’t find me.

She placed the note on her desk table as she flung her backpack over her shoulder and with one last glance at her room she jumped out of the window and headed towards the forest.
