"That's because she loves you we always hide the mistakes of those we love no matter how painful it might be."

"I'm afraid."He finally admitted."I'm afraid that she will leave me that's why I let her go before she can do it.I love her more than I thought I can and if she had to leave again I wouldn't survive she'll break me and I'm afraid of the man I'll become once she's gone."

"When it comes to love we have to make certain sacrifices son including the ones that can destroy us.You have a choice to make,either you live with the woman you love happily or live a life without her and be miserable and unhappy.She won't wait around for you forever there's a man out there who'll accept and love her the way she loves you,will you be able to handle it if she marries someone else one day,look at that man with love.Can you say with certainty you'll be able to."

"No I can't stand the idea of another man touching her it makes me sick."The idea drives him crazy makes him lose his mind.

"You have a choice to make,all I want is for you to be happy so does your mother I've always respected your mother's opinion son,she adores Abigail and won't accept anyone else as your wife I agree with her."

"It's time for me to leave,your mother is upset I have to go and see how I can calm her down."Alejandro smiled.

Four days,four long lonely painful days Abby thought as she gazed out the window of their old home in Seattle,she was broken and missed him like crazy even this time away did nothing to ease her heartache and sorrows.She was sinking deeper and deeper into this dark empty hole that Alejandro has left her with,she was drowning and he won't come to save her.Move on Abby she'd told herself,forget about him but her damn heart refuses to listen it yearns for him,craved for his presence at night,she was sleeping in one of his t-shirts that she took to help lessen the emptiness his absence was causing it was the closest thing she'll ever get to be near him again it helped but only for a little while,was there a word to describe what she was feeling.

Will her heart ever go on to live again will this pain ever go away,she sees him everywhere she turns, smells him all around her he's even in her dreams and even in them she can't have him,hold him and tell him how much she loves him.Why her?Why now. Was he happy,has he already forgotten about her,was he even thinking about her and all the beautiful memories they made together.Cause she does every moment of every second."Stop it Abigail!"She scolded herself."Don't do this to yourself."She stood and was about to go to her room when the doorbell rang who was it no one knew she was here,she was surprise to see Blake on the doorstep holding a box of chocolates and flowers."Blake.What are doing here?"

"I came to see a friend.Can I come in."

She stepped aside."How did you knew I was here."

"I spoke to Eric they still in Barcelona he told me what happened."

"Everyone must know I got dumped,did you come to throw salt on my wounds."

"I'll never do that."He held the flowers to her."I thought they might cheer you up."Taking them she smiled and led him to the living room.

"Thanks."She said sitting down."I don't have anything to offer except water."

"Your company is enough.How are you holding up."

"It's hard."She said."Is this how you felt."

He came to sit next to her."Forget about me,let's talk about you."

"Let's rather not."

"He's an idiot for letting you go if he can't see that then it's his loss."

"I wish I can agree with you but I feel I'm the one who lost."Abby could feel the tears were close."I miss him so much Blake I guess I deserve what I'm going through after I left you."

"Don't say that.Come here."She scooted over he held her close, she needed comfort any kind of comfort to stop all her hurt."Don't cry Abby."

"What else can I do,I'm so emotional."

"Hormones."He tenderly stroked her back.

She giggled."Why couldn't I have loved a man like you someone uncomplicated."

"We don't control who we fall in love with."

She slightly moved back."You right,we don't.If we did I could choose to love someone else."

"Could you have loved someone else."Blake asked.

"Probably,if I didn't met Alejandro I might have."

"He doesn't deserve you Abby or your love,I knew he would do this.He thinks because he has it all he can do what he pleases.You need to forget about him find a man who'll treat you with respect a man that will love you more than his achievements and material possessions,he shouldn't have married you in the first place we could be happy,the baby you carrying could've been mine.I would never have left you."

"I know Blake but I-...."

"She loves me."Abby froze her whole body went into shock at hearing Alejandro's sexy masculine voice,round big hazel eyes met his dark brown ones her breath caught just by looking at his handsome face,he was wearing black jeans that hugged every muscle on his legs and thighs brown leather boots a black tight fit t-shirt and matching leather jacket his hair was disheveled as if he's been dragging his hand through it one curl was hanging over his forehead making him look sexy and every bit the playboy he is.A trill of awareness race down her spine causing her heart to jump,she got up and stared at him as if she can't believe he was here.

"Which you don't deserve."Blake said standing too."What are you doing here? Came to finish what you started.Well she's not alone."Blake's hand came to rest around her shoulders,Alejandro's gaze narrowed as he looked at Blake's arm Abby saw his mouth tighten."I'm here for her I won't let you manipulate her again so you could use her again."

Gosh he felt like killing this man and if only he could Alejandro thought his hands balled into fists,he didn't come here for Blake he came for the woman next to him and he's not leaving without her if he wants Abigail to listen and give him a chance he's gonna have to leave Blake alone."This is between me and my wife Riley I suggest you stay out of it."

Wife?Were they still married,hope bloomed inside Abby's heart he hasn't filed the divorce papers yet."She's no longer your wife Alvarez.You getting a divorce."

Alejandro laughed harshly."Oh Riley you have no idea how much I feel like knocking your teeth down your throat but.."He said glancing at Abby."If I do that then any chance I have of winning my wife's heart is gone.Abigail.."

She looked away from him."I don't think she wants to see or talk to you."

"Abigail.We need to talk in private please."Silence,she said nothing neither did she look at him if there's one thing he hates it's her silence."Abigail."She moved away from Blake and went to her room."Abigail!"He called,she ignored him.

"It's over."Blake told him blocking his way."You've lost her,I told you I'd be here for her when that day comes."No he cannot be late it's not over,she must listen to him first he has to talk to her,he shoved past Blake but he grabbed his shoulder stopping him from going further.

"You have five seconds to remove your hand or I promise you you'll never do anything in your life except to sit in a wheelchair and drink from a straw."

The look Blake saw in Alejandro eyes was enough for him to get the message slowly he removed his hand."Blake."Abby said coming out of her room."I'll be okay.Thanks for the flowers and chocolates."

"I can't leave you alone with him."

Abby knows Alejandro will never physically hurt her."We'll talk."
