CHAPTER 63

"I'm gonna go see how far things are with the cafe you'll be okay for a few hours."She asked.

"I'll be fine.Don't over do it."

"Promise."Everything was going great Abby was happy with the progress she hopes things will go well without her here next week.Her mind was still on Alejandro's dad she doesn't know what to make of his behaviour she knows if she can tell Alejandro he wouldn't be too happy about it,she'll keep quiet.Him and his father are on good terms again she doesn't want to be the cause of them drifting apart again.Back at the cafe Amanda told her a bouquet of roses has arrived for her,she knew who it came from and right on cue her cell rang.

"Did you get the flowers?"He asked.

Abby smiled as if he was there."I did they beautiful.Thank you."

"You beautiful."He said."I miss you."

"Me too."She admitted.

"Come over for lunch."He suggested.

She chuckled."Now?I'm busy besides the last time I came over for lunch I ended up naked and bending over your desk."The memory made her grew hot.

"It's not my fault you so sexy,I can't get enough of you.Will you come."

"I can't Alejandro the new cafe is keeping me busy,we leaving this weekend I want to make sure everything is in order before we leave,there's still a ton of things I have to over see."

"Okay let me not keep you."

She could hear the disappointment in his voice."Don't you have work to do."

"I do but you all I think about there's no space for work."

Abby knew how he felt not a second goes by that she doesn't think about him want to hear his voice and be in his arms."I thought I was the only one."

Silence filled the line."I have to go something important came up."

"Okay."I love you she silently said,after the call she continued with her work not that it helped Alejandro was is in her head now she regrets not agreeing to have lunch with him.Checking the time half an hour won't hurt to go over and see him,grabbing her bag she headed for the door but stopped when it swung open Alejandro was standing before her looking so dashing in his grey charcoal suit closing the door he pulled her into his arms and kissed her Abby threw her bag on the floor and kissed him back,urgently their hands roamed on each other needing to feel flesh.She removed his jacket and flung it somewhere not caring where it fell she wanted to feel him naked,in a matter of seconds their clothes were gone he carried her over to the desk where he made her sit down all the while not breaking contact with her lips,he put both of her legs over his arms,gripping her waist he tugged her forward.

Abby froze halfway in putting on her top he shouldn't say things that weren't true because she'll end up believing it when for him it's only words."I-I didn't know that."She finally said.

"Now you do."He said buttoning up his shirt."Where were you off to before I came in."

"I was on my way to see how far they are with renovating the cafe."His gaze met hers for a while then he gave her that sexy smile she ended up looking away.

"Really?"She only nodded."Or maybe you were on your way over to see me."

"No I wasn't."She lied."I told you I have a lot that needs to get done."She pretended to look for her trouser but it was right infront of her,he cupped her face between his hands.

"I don't expect you to lie to me especially after what we've been through."He bent his head and kissed her tenderly."Mother invited us for dinner tonight."

She knew that his dad had said he'll see them at dinner,should she tell him about the conversation she'd had with his father."That's nice.What time should we be there."

"Seven.I told Manual to drop Ally of at my parents."

"It's been a while since we've seen them everything has to been so hectic and busy these couple of weeks it would be nice to sit down and have dinner with them.Will your dad join us?"

"Of course.Why you asking."He stared at her.

"Just asking.Do you think he approves that I'm your wife,does he know under what circumstances we got married.Will he like me?Does he know I'm the woman you fought against him for."

"Abigail?Where is all this coming from.Why are you so nervous,if I didn't know better I'd say you afraid."

"There's no harm in wanting to know.What if he hates me because I almost took you away from your family."

"He doesn't hate you.You're my wife and if he or anyone else can't accept that then it's their problem not ours.Stop stressing about something that isn't there you are pregnant and need to take it easy concentrate on yourself and not on other's opinion of you.You important to me and that's all that matters."

"You shouldn't fight with your family over me I don't want that and I don't want you to."

"I'll fight against the whole world for you Abigail including my own family." Hearing him say those words meant alot unwanted tears gathered in her eyes she wants to be his beginning and his end like he was hers,she wanted his love but his words now touched her deep down the fact that he doesn't return her love didn't matter anymore."I hate seeing tears in your eyes.Don't cry."She flung her arms around his neck,holding him tight never wanting to let go him.

"I feel so safe in your arms."She whispered in his neck."No one can harm me here,I can take on the world as long as you are by my side.How I wish I can stay like this with you forever in a world where nothing matters...except us."

He wants that too more than anything else these past weeks with her had been the best days of his life going to bed and waking up next to her is what he's only dreamed of.She was perfect for him in and out of bed in everyway possible he'd meant it when he had said he will fight the world for her,he loves her beyond measure would do anything for her but how long till she leaves him again how long until she breaks him,those lingering doubts are never far away despite his love."You'll always belong here for as long as it last."She slightly pulled away to look at him."Your mother and Jack will also be at dinner.What time should I come pick you up."

"I have my own car."She said."I'll leave here as soon as I'm done."

"Allow me to buy you a new car."

"No.We've talked about this."She reminded him."My answer will remain the same."

"What's the point of having a wife when she doesn't allow you to do things for her.If I'm not gonna spoil you who should I then."

"Your time and attention is enough for me,I don't need anything else.Now go before I'm gonna ask you to stay back."
