"I wish I can give you more than that."Abby knew what he meant and it's the only thing she wants more than anything in this world.He gave her one last kiss and left.She finished her work and around six she left the cafe to go home and get ready Alejandro wasn't at home when she got there so she went to take a bath.She has no idea what she'll wear and a small part of her didn't want to go she doesn't know what to think of Mr Alvarez behaviour and the things he said was even more confusing,now her parents will be there she hopes nothing awkward will happen or that Mr Alvarez won't bring up any past events.All she wanted to do was forget and move on it's bad enough that she regrets her decision she also didn't want to be reminded about it.She was busy looking through her closet for a dress when Alejandro strolled in."I thought you'd be done by now."

"I have no idea what to wear."She said,not glancing at him,oblivious to the fact that she was still wearing a bra and a thong and her husband was looking at her with hungry eyes."So many clothes and I have no idea what to wear."

"I like you better this way."Abby immediately stopped doing what she was doing and met his gaze,his eyes were dark with need only then did she realise she was practically naked slowly he came over to her."Much better."He drawled that slow sexy smile spread across his handsome face.

She backtracked."Alejandro no.There's no time we'll be late."It was too late she was already in his arms,melting to the sweet delicious kisses he was planting in her neck.

"I love the scent of you Abigail it's something I'll never forget."His hold tighten on her."I love everything about you."His hand was on her buttocks pressing her into his thick bulging erection,she couldn't help but sigh and clutch his shoulders.He brought her mouth to meet his and for the next several minutes they explored and tasted each other mouths,tongues clashing and dancing together in a wild frenzy.Gasping they both pulled away to catch their breaths."Why Abigail?"He groaned as if he was in pain."Why did you make me feel again. She touched her pendant."Alejandro you know I never take of the locket.Then why are asking.In fact I'm not a jewelry fan."

He knows diamonds will never be able to win her heart over,she preferred all the simple things."Please.Just for tonight that's all I'm asking?"

She gazed at him for a long while before giving in."Okay."She took her pendant off and put it in her purse,he came behind her to fasten the clasp of the necklace he softly kissed her exposed shoulder,a shiver went through her.

"Beautiful.I knew it would sit perfectly on you."

"Thank you."She kissed his hair roughened cheek.

Abby was a nervous wreck by the time they arrived at his parents house everyone has already arrived and drinking pre-dinner drinks.Abby went to greet Jack and her mother Eric wasn't there,she can't see Ally."Alejandro. Where is Alejandra."

"She's with her grandfather."Mariana answered."They'll join us shortly,he wanted some time alone with his granddaughter.Come and take a seat I'll ask Ana to bring you something to drink."

"No.I'm fine."Abby quickly said.

"Let me talk to Jack."Alejandro whispered in her ear,he kissed her cheek before going.

"Beautiful necklace Abby."Her mother said coming over."So you've finally decided to take of that pendant."

"Only for tonight mom.Why didn't Eric come."

"He had other plans,when is your next doctor's appointment I'd like to come too."

"Tomorrow.I thought mom is too busy to accompany me."

"Nonsense you my only child Abby of course I'd want to know what is happening in your life.I'll be a grandmother again and I'd like to be a part of that."

"And you are mom."Abby gave her a hug.

"We've officially met and spoken to Alejandro's father."Abby tensed."He's nice such a kind man."

"Nice?Kind."Abby croaked,he had been far from nice or kind with her.

"Yes."Kate went on."He's recovering well and loves his children unconditionally he's very proud and happy that his sons have found such strong and beautiful wives,who loves them and stand by them."

Abby gaped at her mom."Did he actually say that."

"Yes.What's wrong with you acting like someone who doesn't understand or can't believe a word of what I've just said."

Well she's speechless that he had actually said that,after their conversation she'd been sure he would make her life hell,she was under the impression he doesn't like her."I didn't know he said that."

"He did.And I'm proud of you too,after everything you finally happy and in love with a man who treats you like a queen and respects you.You couldn't have chosen better Abby,Alejandro completely adores you sweetie the love he has for you is unconditional and I'm happy for you."

"Thank you mom,finally I found a man you approve of,a man that ticks all the right boxes on your list."

"You love each other sweetie and that's all that matters.I know you not chasing money how many good wealthy eligible bachelors have I send your way over the years and you turned them all down."

"Alejandro is more wealthier,more successful."

"Money isn't everything Abby I've learned that although we need it to survive we can't buy the affection and love of others.You and Alejandro love each other that's why you two never found anyone over the years.I was wrong to want you to marry a man that has money I should've known your heart was elsewhere."

"And where is her heart?"Alejandro asked,he came and stood next to Abby his arm came to rest heavily around her waist.

"With you."Kate told him."No wonder she never wanted to marry any of the men Jack and I set up for her all this while she was waiting for you."

"Mom,I think Jack is calling you."Abby has to get her mom away from here before she'll say too much infront of Alejandro and that's the last thing she needs especially since he doesn't share her feelings.

"Excuse me."She said and left.

"Why do I get the feeling you wanted to get rid of you mother.Something you wanna tell me."

"No,nothing.I didn't want her to bore you with past history.Here comes Ally with your father."

"Mommy!Daddy!"Abby bent down to give her little girl a warm hug and a kiss.

"Hey cupcake.I missed you."

"Daddy's princess,did you have fun with grandpa."

"Yes I did."

"Good evening father."Alejandro said.

"Mr Alvarez."Abby greeted.

"Son.Abigail it's a pleasure to see you again."Abby could feel Alejandro's gaze on her."You look lovely."

"Thank you."

"How is father feeling."

"Stronger than ever,I've never felt better."

"That's good to hear."

"Bright young girl you have,she reminds me of you very ambitious and driven. You did good,I haven't formally congratulated the both of you on your wedding and I heard Abigail is expecting.Congratulations."

"Thank you father."

"Alejandra is quite excited about having a little brother."Vicente said."We hope we'll see more of you."

"Of course.Get well soon."

"Come dinner is about to start and you know how your mother can get if you late."Dinner went fairly well Abby thought as she came back from tucking Ally in Mr Alvarez had been very polite and friendly the whole time.

Abby was thankful he hasn't brought up his visit this afternoon.What game was he playing at here she wondered as she took her seat next to Alejandro at the dinner table just on cue Ana came in bringing dessert Abby noticed it's the red velvet cake Mariana had asked her to bake.Alejandro wasn't really a fan of sweet treats Abby had seen that in their early stages of dating,she'd asked him one day why he doesn't like eating sweet treats he'd shrugged and said his dessert was much more sweeter,so tonight it was a surprise to see him eating cake."I thought you didn't favour cakes and other sweet things."She said.

"I don't I'm only eating it because you baked it."He said catching her off guard once again,Abby couldn't help but stare.He leaned closer and kissed her half open mouth."It's delicious just like you."He whispered in her ear making her whole body tingle.

"The cake is delicious."Vicente said."Ana has outdone herself as always."

"This time the credit goes to our daughter-in-law."Mariana told her husband. "Abigail is truly a blessing for our son."

"I'm sure she is.Thank you Abigail."

"It wasn't any trouble I love what I'm doing."

"Baking?"He asked,Abby nodded."I'm surprised my son has chosen you.I've always thought he'd want a traditional wife someone who'll stay at home and raise the kids take care of the house and family."
