Poor Paul ended up having ten shots in a row.
“Ok now we are all loosened up a bit we are going to play Truth or dare. The twist is that every time you ask or dare the person to do something, and they pull through and do it, then you have to have a shot. But if you are too scared to do it then you have to have a shot. Does this make sense?”
Again, we all nodded. Hayley put the lid on the bottle of Jack. “Ok who ever this lands on gets to ask the first truth or dare. You spin the bottle to find out who you are going to ask to keep it fare. Understood?”
Again, we all nodded, and Hayley spun the bottle. It landed on Amber
“Cool” She spun the bottle, and it landed on Hayley “Truth or Dare?”
“I think that I will start with a dare”
“Great. I dare you to make up with the werewolves and give Nick a hug”
“Argh I hate you, Amber. I would expect this from Christina, but not you” Hayley got up and walked over to Nick “Up ya get handsome” Nick stood up looking very nervous. Hayley pulled him into a big bear hug “Am sorry for not liking you. I love you now forever and ever. But if you hurt Christina then I will hunt you down and kill you” She gave him a light pat on the butt and then she went and sat back down. Nick gave her a weak smile and then sat down as well. “Ok now have a shot bitch. I did the dare”
“I am a witch not a bitch thanks you” Amber drank the shot and gave Hayley an angelic smile as she refilled her drink. She handed the bottle back to Hayley “It’s your turn to spin”
Hayley took the bottle and spun it. It landed on Paul. “Truth or dare”
“Um I think that I will go for truth”
“Shit um ok. Is it true......um that your parents do not know that you’re a witch?”
“Wow that’s a good one. Well, I don’t know my birth parents. I was adopted when I was a baby. So no, I have not told my adopted parents. They are straight”
“Do you know who your real parents are?” Hayley was looking really upset
“Na, they dumped me in the ambo bay at the hospital. They left a note with my first name and date of birth”
“Crap” Hayley grabbed her glass and downed her shot.
“Yeah, I agree with ya there. Now it’s my turn” Paul spun the bottle, and it landed on me “Sweet I was hoping to get you”
“You better not have been using magic to get me. That’s cheating”
“No, I learnt my lesson doing that” He gave Hayley an uneasy look. “Ok Jess Truth or Dare?”
“Do you know what I think that I am going to be daring and go for a dare”
“Sweet. I dare you to read the minds of everyone in this room and tell everyone one of the dirty little secrets”
“That’s so mean, but so funny yes I will do it” I sat down and closed my eyes to help me concentrate. I always found it easier to read people’s minds when I was drunk. Must be due to been more relaxed.
“Ok since Paul dared me to do this, I am going to start with him”
“What? No! I didn’t tell you to read mine”
“Yes, you did. You told me to read the mind of everyone that is in this room. You are in this room so that includes you” I gave him a wink before I went prodding through his mind “well well well. Mr Paul here was once caught masturbating to a comic book. The comic book was one with werewolves and vampires. Hey Amber, I would watch him. I am not sure witches are his thing”
“Hey, leave me alone I was like 13. I knew I was a witch, so I figured all the rest was real too. As a 13-year-old boy that’s very arousing”
I started laughing “Ok ok I have heard enough on that thank you. Now on to Amber” I composed myself and went in to her mind “Oh my god Amber. How could you?”
“Um what?”
“Um what you caught us and stayed and watched?”
Everyone started laughing then apart from Amber, Kieran and me.
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to. I came to visit you and decided to sneak through your window like we used to do in the old days, but you were um busy”
“So why did you just not leave? You didn’t have to watch”
“I know but I had not had sex by then. Sure, I had lied to you guys telling you that I had but I hadn’t. I wanted to watch to see what it was like. So that I could be prepared”
“Ok I do not want to know any more. Next” I moved on to Nick “wow, Nick here does not hate vampires like he had been raised to. When he was growing up, he was best friends with a vampire, and he still is”
“Yeah, it’s true he is a born vamp, His name is Jack, and he is dating a werewolf called Diane”
“Wow that goes against everything I knew. So, Hayley that means you can be friends with Nick. Hey Nick, you should invite Jack and Diane to visit. I would love to meet them. They would have to sleep in the office or lounge though, as I have run out of spare rooms”
“Yeah, I will do that. I have not seen him in ages”
“Wow well that was not really a dirty secret, but with your upbringing I guess it is. So, who is my next victim? Oh look it’s the lovely Hayley” Since I had let Hayley drink my blood a few years back I did not even need to concentrate to get into her head “Well fuck me. Hayley does not hate werewolves because she had been raised to. She hates them because one broke her heart. Hayley, you lost your virginity to a werewolf?”
