Chapter 185 Untitled Chapter
Chapter 185 Untitled Chapter
“Hello, Noah Dominic.” I chuckled in sarcasm, leaning on the car.
“What on earth have you done, Lizzy?” He screamed in frustration.
“What you deserve, Noah Dominic. Your bank account has been blocked. Which means you will never get to make any transactions or withdrawals or receive any money from any of your business partners. And you know exactly what that means. You will never get to spend a dime from your money, and you will become a beggar very soon.”
Ha ha ha ha ha ha, that was so funny.
“The best thing for you to do right now is to get your butt back to this town so that you can face the law and get your sentence. Who knows? You might only spend a few months in prison, or a life sentence
sentence or a death sentence.”
“What bullshit are you talking about, Lizzy? You know what? I have no time for any balderdash coming from your mouth right now. Go back to that bank and have my account returned to its normal status.”
“Ohh, don't be so dramatic, Noah. You thought you could mess with the wrong person, but you were wrong. Upon all these things that I have done for you, you decided to pay me back with evil. You kidnapped my only daughter, the girl you always said you loved so much. Apart from that, you tried to kill her in the state she is in right now. Do you think I will ever spare you, Noah?”
“My ears are bleeding from hearing your horrible voice. Jones two, as I said, and stop speaking into my ears.”
What da! So my voice is so horrible as to make him bleed. Now, wasn't he the one who always said my voice was the softest and the most delicate thing he had ever heard in his entire life? Wasn't my voice the only thing he listened to when he was depressed?
Tsk tsk tsk. There are no lies in this world that love will never make you utter. I know that my voice is so sweet and smooth, so I don't care what he says about it.
“Say whatever you want, more, Dominic; I will not have the bank reverse your account status, and I will not unseal your companies, which I have already filled. The money in your hand will soon be finished, and you won't have a choice but to crawl back to this town into my hands. And if after you are out of money, you decide to go to another country to spend your miserable life there, I will track you down, deal with you, and drag you back to this town. By the time I am done with you, Noah Dominic, you will be a laughing stock; you will become someone everyone points at and spits on. Just dare me!”
“You wretched witch. I should have known better than to allow you to come into my life.”
“Shut the trash you call a mouth, idiot. I should be the world regretting for allowing you to enter my life. You are nothing but a homewrecker, a peace destroyer, and the devil who takes away joy from everybody's life like an angel of death.”
Beep! The line cut off. But that is not a big problem; I have already gotten what I wanted. I wouldn't be exchanging words with him if I had no other intention. And now, I have gotten a hint of the country he ran off to.
The moment I put the phone back inside my pocket, the officer who was standing beside me, holding her laptop, cracked up. “OMG, Detective Lizzy, you are my role model. How did you even think of tracking down his number in just a few minutes?”
He has no idea the number of things running inside my head. And decide to bring down a huge conglomerate in just a few seconds, without anyone knowing what is swirling like a whirlwind in my head.
Noah doesn't know I have already gotten his location, and by the next morning, he is going to wake up and see me in front of him.
NOAH DOMINIC
Lizzy is more capable than I thought.
That peace destroyer has finally ruined my life. I was planning on leaving this country and migrating to another country, far, far away, where no one will know me. I was already thinking of changing my identity in case someone from my town sees and recognizes me. However, the message that popped up on my phone changed everything.
My vision went blurry, and my heart nearly burst out of my chest. My lungs got constricted, and a cough erupted from my mouth. I felt like I was going to die at that moment, seeing the bank notification that my account was blocked from further transactions and everything.
What scared me was the fact that all my money is inside my bank account, and the only thing in my hand isn't up to $1000. What will $1000 do for me?
Lizzy was the first person who came to my mind after seeing that message. I know that she is the only person who would tamper with my account that way to get me back to the town, so she will disgrace me in front of everyone.
And I was so correct because she didn't deny it when I called her. Lizzy is a maniac, and I swear, I will come back and deal with her. I am the bad guy here, but that is not an excuse for her to tamper with my hard-earned money. I earned that money through bad days and good days.
“She has also arrested the officers who are your puppets, Mr. Noah. And right now she is with Mr. Bosca’s phone. The hometown is going to check the moment she sees all the things inside that phone. I suggest you run away from this place as far as you can.”
“Come on, dude, I am so desperate to do that. But there is no way I will leave without any money.”
“Give me until tomorrow morning, and I will send my mail with a bag of $2 million. But you should know that I am giving you a lot of it. When you are settled in wherever you go, you can send me back my money when your business starts blowing.”
Seriously? I cannot believe it has come to this. I used to give this dude a lot of money when he was broke, and I never once asked him to pay me back.
Just as he had promised, he sent over the money. The next morning.
However, when I was getting dressed to leave the hotel and bought a flight to the next country, a lock came on the door again. I stopped what I was doing and went to get the door, thinking it was my friend Peter who had sent the money earlier on.
The moment I turned the door handle and the door opened wide, my eyes fell on Lizzy staring at me with a mischievous grin.
“Surprise, Noah Dominic.”
