Chapter 77 Untitled Chapter
Whispers pierced my ears, and when I opened my eyes, crowds had gathered beneath me. My hands and legs felt numb. I didn't realize I was tied until I tried to move my limbs.
Behind me, laughter erupted, followed by heavy footsteps on the wooden floor. I didn't need to be told that I had fallen right into Casper’s hands.
“Members of the Dark Shadow sect!” I shut my eyes as his voice echoed in my head like a loudspeaker. “I present to you the fugitive from the Lunskye pack, Alpha Amelia Brook!”
Loud gasps and murmurs broke out from the crowd, and fingers started pointing at me. I lowered my head, shut my eyes, and tried to swallow the embarrassment I had fallen into.
I was such a fool; I should have killed him when I had the chance, but I waited for when he was in the room.
I should have done that when we were taken to the mansion, the first time he saw me.
“She disguised herself as a member of this sect and entered our town to kill all of you!”
Yes, correct, all of them!
“And now, I am going to kill her in front of you guys, but first, we shall take a look at what she was blessed with by the goddess.”
As he walked towards me, his laughter echoed, followed by the laughter from the crowd.
I didn't understand what he meant by "they shall take a look at what the goddess blesses me with" until he stood in front of me and stretched his hand towards me.
The devil is going to strip me naked, to humiliate me in front of the devils like him. But that isn't going to work; I will fight for my reputation even if I lose my life in the end.
“You bastard!” I spat on his face, then kicked him with my leg. “You will not let your filthy fingers touch me, or else, you will regret it!”
“Quit talking, kitty. I will kill you the way I killed your father and your mother. I promised myself that one day, I would take over the Lunskye pack, as it is the only pack that has refused to join my sect. And when I am done with you, Hans is next!”
My blood boiled in rage, and suddenly, my weak limbs started feeling strong. I shut my eyes, listening to the voice in my head.
“The time has come, Alpha Amelia Brook; now you shall wipe out this town!”
I snapped my eyes open, sending Casper flying down the stage with a thud. The crowd started panicking, staggering into each other, and the Alphas sitting behind me leapt to their feet.
Power gushed over my skin, swirling like a tornado. I summoned strength, broke free from the rope, and cracked my neck.
“Casper!” My thunderous tone followed the tornado, knocking the creatures down. “Get up here and show me what you are made of!”
Dark clouds gathered, followed by a thunderclap. Black smoke rose from where he lay, swirling in the wind with sounds from all the creatures present.
Casper rose, laughing devilishly, eyes glinting red, long horns shooting out of his wolf head, his legs transformed into a dragon’s, and dark, huge wings sprouting out of his back.
When he blew out air from his mouth, flames burst out, burning the wooden houses nearby.
“Monster!” I screamed, raising the massive fog shooting out of my body. I threw it at him, but he dodged it, and it dismounted onto the creatures who were still staggering around.
He flew towards me, wings flapping, eyes flickering red, flame bursting out of his mouth, and smoke puffing out of his dragon's nose.
I dodged him again, sending him crashing into the Alphas, who were so dumb to stay there when war had broken out.
I expected the Alphas, including the vampires, dragons, Faes, and wolves, to attack, but none of them moved. It seems they were waiting for an order from their leader, Casper.
And before he could come to his senses and give them orders, I knocked them down, slaughtering them all at once.
Heads flew off necks, limbs detached, and blood splashed all over the place.
Seeing that, Casper growled and dashed towards me, but I flew up, causing him to crash into a huge building.
“I will kill you, Amelia!” he growled as the building fell on him.
“Let me at him! I want this fight!” Amy growled, shuddering. She jumped, front paws raised, trying to take over, but I blocked the connection.
This fight is mine, and mine alone!
“Stay out of it, Amy; this is my fight!” I snapped, wriggling my hands.
When I looked around, nothing was left alive; the houses were burning, creatures were dead, and Casper was groaning beneath the fallen building across from me.
He isn't dead yet, but he will soon die. I clapped my hands, waved them to the left and the right, shut my eyes, and steadied my hands up.
A few seconds later, the creature statue in his mansion, the one that was said to have been gifted to him by the gods, appeared, floating above me.
Wings flapped, bricks cracked, and Casper flew out, dirty, injured, and with blood dripping from his mouth, nose, and head.
When he saw the statue floating above me, his eyes snapped wide, and he paused.
“Thank you for making things so easy for me, Casper. I told you I was going to win this game, but you laughed in my face.” I cracked up, supporting the statue with fog.
“Let that thing go, Amelia! And I shall spare your life!”
Oh, who is sparing his life now? I'm not injured, nor am I bruised anywhere. But him? a mess.
“Your type is not needed in this kingdom, Casper. You deserve death!”
“You cannot kill me, bitch! Let that thing go!”
He shot a smoke arrow with flickering red eyes towards me, the type I saw a few days ago. So it was he who had sent it and not Hams. Amazing!
I dodged it, still holding up my hands, supporting the statue.
“Just who are you!” He growled, breathing smoke.
“Alpha Amelia Brook of Lunskye Pack, daughter of Alpha Brook and Luna Selena, chosen by the moon goddess to wipe out evil creatures like you, and right now, I shall wipe you off the surface of the earth!”
