Spell break
Kayden's Point of view
I watched Jessica make different decisions. It was a delight to watch her take charge and help with everything. The alliance was finally going to work out and they had agreed to disperse a number of their army to our pack.
"Where do you want to go after this?" I had asked her. Impressed by her capabilities and how she had won the people over to side with her on the issue of the war we thought was coming.
" Anywhere," she smiled.
" You did absolutely well," I told her.
Suddenly, I began to have an headache, an irritation in my head was causing me to grab and scream heavily. It was getting really hard to even see clearly.
" Are you alright, Kayden. " I saw Jessica ask. She was towering above me, I could not respond to her and I eventually lost consciousness.
The next morning, the two people I saw beside me were Jessica and the doctor.
"What happened to me, doc?" I asked him, looking at my surroundings and realizing I was on foreign ground.
"You had an heavy migraine dear," I heard her say.
Something didn't feel right, the words she spoke.
"Dear?" I asked her.
She had a nervous reaction. "Yes, dear." She replied. "You're my dear, aren't you?"
I was getting irritated at how she spoke. "Where's Rose?" I barked at her.
I could see her jump, but I cared less.
"Please, calm yourself, alpha. There's nothing to worry about, the Luna is perfectly okay. We just need you to be fine and you'll be free to go back."
I was reluctant, but I felt like I was overreacting due to what they said I had. Something with migraine. I rested my head back and tried to remember things from the days past but nothing was coming through, it was as if all memory was cleared from my head.
The doctor led Jessica out and it was puzzling that she was around in the first place. Where was Rose, the thought of her bothered my head. I was anxious while in the bed.
Jess's point of view
The spell was fading off. I was panicking, I was outside in the waiting room and judging from Kayden reaction and what he'd happened to me, I suspected it was over for me. I kept my head in my palms and kept shaking while I sat on the chair.
The doctor didn't know what was wrong, he assumed it was some sort of random headache. It wasn't.
"What's going on, keep your cool. You've done it before, you can do it again." I tried telling myself, but nothing would calm me without knowing that he wasn't back around.
"Don't worry, miss. The alpha will be fine." The doctor from earlier came towards where I sat down. It seemed the nurses noticed my change in mannerisms already.
If only they knew what was going on and how dangerous things would be getting if he gained his sanity back.
