Alpha Is Back

''Doctor, I think we might be under attack. One of the guards at the gate of the pack has spotted what seems to be dragons flying towards us.'' The Sudden Fang Pack were expecting only the worse at this point, so it was understandable that any unfamiliar person or thing they saw coming towards them was an enemy.

Unidentified flying things had been spotted flying towards the Sudden Fang Pack's territory, but little did they know that it was a friendly visit from the dragons.

The doctor was confused. Everyone in the Sudden Fang Pack now looked up to him, forgetting that he was just a doctor, and had never been in the cross fire of any battle or war that the Sudden Fang Pack had ever encountered.

''The dragons have come to finish us. Daryl was right, we should have killed that cursed girl called Eidenel at once, and not just put her in the dungeon.'' The pack members started to murmur.

''Wait a minute. That's Alpha Michael, isn't it?'' Alpha Michael and the rest of the wolves that were apprehended at the Dragon Kingdom had returned with so much urgency, no one could deny that there was so much trouble out there that the Sudden Fang Pack were not aware about.

''Alpha! Oh, thank the moon goddess. I know she would never forsake us.'' The doctor was the happiest to see the Alpha because it meant that the pack members would no longer look up to him for directions at such a critical time.

The pack could not contain their joy when they saw their long time Alpha who suddenly disappeared from the pack without any explanation whatsoever.

''Where's my son?'' Alpha Michael didn't have time to waste with the members of his pack as far as catching up was concerned. He just wanted to see Oliver, to confirm that he was still alive.

While Alpha Michael was being led to the Pack's hospital where Oliver was kept in his unconscious state, the Dragons that had been spotted flying towards the pack, suddenly landed in the pack. There were two of them. King Archer, and Bernard.

''Oliver! Oliver!'' Alpha Michael desperately called his son's name hoping to bring the young Alpha back to life, but there was no response. Alpha Oliver was too comatose to hear what was going on around him.

''Alpha, the intensity of what is happening to him only has to do with the mate's bond, that is what I was able to deduce after checking him. Is there anything wrong with the girl? The cursed... I beg your pardon, The Carrier of The Prophecy. How is she?'' The doctor asked Alpha Michael.

''We need to take Oliver away to the constellation. The girl is now a vampire and had become the vampire queen. That's why my son is about to die.'' Alpha Michael snapped at the doctor, asking him to remove all the tubes and wires that had been connected to Alpha Oliver to keep him alive.

As soon as the Alpha mentioned that Eidenel was now a vampire and as much as the vampire queen, the Sudden Fang broke into all forms of responses. Some of them just gasped and had their eyes shining in shock, while others started to talk.

''I told you.''

''We should have killed that girl, now my husband is dead for nothing.'' Mr. Daryl's wife was the most upset out of every member of the Sudden Fang Pack. To think that her husband had been right concerning how dangerous Eidenel was but nobody took him seriously.

''Daryl died as a result of his own stubborness. How dare he attack the Dragon King with only four men? What did he expect the Dragon King to do? Wacth him destroy the kingdom?'' Alpha Michael heard Mr. Daryl's wife blame Eidenel for his death so he quickly corrected the situation and continued to look out for his son.

The Dragon King, King Archer saw Mr. Daryl's wife, and he could not deny that he felt a pang of pity for her for losing her husband, but there was nothing he could do. That was just how life in the underworld was, unfair.

''If we take him to the constellation, the moon's ambience can keep him alive for as long as one thousand days, it's just that he would be unconscious through out. That is the only way we can preserve him while we try to retrieve the girl from the vampires.'' Alpha Michael told the doctor while the doctor worked on transferring Oliver.

''Retrieving the girl? Alpha, she is now the Queen of all vampires. How would we just retrieve her? The vampires will destroy us for trying to touch their queen, in fact, going near the queen will be impossible at this point.'' The pack's doctor was sure that gainig access to Eidenel would never happen again, not after she had become the Vampire Queen.

''A wolf is always a wolf. Eidenel is still a member of this pack, don't worry. I am the Alpha, I would find my way around it. Besides, if push comes to shove and we need to use force, I have the dragons on our side. They spit fire, for crying out loud. I doubt that anything can beat that.'' Alpha Michael sounded sure of himself, so the pack's doctor had no other option than to stick to the plan.

''Quick, carry him into the van. We have to be as fast as possible because he does not have any life support connected to him and he is in a very critical state at this point. I f we are not under the constellation in the next twenty minutes, he would die.'' The doctor climbed into the pack's van with Alpha Michael sitting beside him and together, they started to drive towards the constellation while King Archer and Bernard transformed into their dragon form and followed the van.
