He Might Be Dead By Now

''Alpha! Alpha Oliver!'' The pack's doctor had been taking direct care of Alpha Oliver and happened to find him unconscious one fateful morning.

The entire pack had gathered in the Alpha's home, including Mr. Daryl's family who were happy to see Alpha Oliver in that state because rumor had spread that their father, Daryl had lost his life at the Dragon KLingdom and it was all Alpha Oliver's fault.

Mr. Daryl's family hated Alpha Oliver at that point.

''What is wrong with him?'' At this time, the Sudden Fang Pack had become divided for so many obvious reasons. Some people were anger ay Alpha Oliver because of the death of Mr. Daryl, while others wondered where their Alpha, Michael. Oliver's father was.

No matter how intensely they questioned Alpha Oliver about the whereabouts of his father, he did not give them any positive response. All he said to them was that his father was fine and that they had nothing to worry about.

Well, the pack had to accept Alpha Oliver's response because if he, being the son of Alpha Michael was not worried about his father, then why should they be?

Alpha Oliver was taken back to the Pack hospital where he had been spending most of his days anyway, since he returned as the new Alpha. The young Alpha was dying by the second, and only him knew that it was because of Eidenel. Eidenel had done the worst.

Alpha Oliver had thought that Eidenel must have only had sex with the Vampire King and that was why he was feeling so intensely bad because of the mate's bond, but little did he know that, in fact, his fated mate was now a vampire.

''Doctor, is he alive?'' Everyone that still cared about the young Alpha looked on as the doctor checked the Alpha's vitals to see what was wrong with him.

''He is barely hanging by a thread. I don't know why his health suddenly dropped so badly. He was recovering swiftly just days ago, enough to have me discharge him.'' The pack's doctor seemed as confused as the rest of the pack members.

''Doctor, if we are going to lose our Alpha, you better tell us. What did they do to him at the Dragon Kingdom? Why are we losing all our leaders to the dragons? What is really going on in this pack?''

''Mr. Daryl was right. Bless his soul. Since that rogue was discovered as the carrier of The Prophecy and the Bringer Of Chaos, nothing has been the same in this pack. Everything has gone haywire. Daryl was right after all. Now he died trying to fight against the prophecy.''

''We are at such a loss. We don't even know where Alpha Michael is, nor is he is alive. Where are the other four warrior pack members that were with Daryl before he died?''

''What's going on?''

Questions were flying left, right and center as the members of the Sudden Fang Pack fought to figure out what was going on, and what their fate was.

The doctor shook his head.

''I'll have to place him on intensive care. He is bordering near a coma. I have to make sure to at least keep him alive for as long as I can. Hopefully, his father would show up.'' The doctor of the Sudden Fang Pack connected so many tubes and wires to Alpha Oliver's body, and left the young Alpha alone in the ward with only the beeping sounds of the machines around him to keep the unconscious Alpha company.

''We have no leader to look up to and direct us, and we are at the mercy of our enemies. If rogues, or other opposition packs hear that the formidable Sudden Fang Pack are without a leader and are at their weakest, we will be dead in the twinkle of an eye.'' One of the pack members said.

''And for that we have to make sure that none of us leaves the pack again. Barr the pack's entrance, and everyone should keep watch of those around them keenly. Make sure that nobody goes missing, and none of this recent development leaks out. Everyone should stay within the pack and gossip less. In fact, do not talk to yourselves about what is happening. Be so afraid to do so because the wind carries tales and stories.'' The pack's doctor was the only person that could appear like a leader to the rest of the pack, so he gave out this instruction, and every member of the Sudden Fang Pack agreed to abide by what he said.

In the Dragon Kingdom, King Archer was impatient, so he opened the cell gate of Alpha Michael and let him out.

''But, you have to try and do the mind trick with your son forst, just to find out if he is aware of something so intense. We will go to you pack, but do the mind thing first.'' King Archer was desperate to hear from Alpha Oliver as travelling to the Sudden Fang Pack will take them another six hours plus to arrive.

Alpha Michael shook his head and flashed a weary smile.

''Do you think that you are more bothered about my son than me? I am his father. I have already done the ''mind trick,'' like you said, and all I can say to you is that we had better get going back to my pack because I could not find my son on the mind radar anymore. If what you are saying about the girl becoming the Vampire Queen is true, then I must say that my son is at the verge of death, if not dead already.''

Alpha Michael broke the news to King Archer as if it was nothing, and then proceeded to walk past him while King Archer stood at a spot with his mouth dropped to the floor in shock.

Two things shocked King Archer. The first one was that it was true that Eidenel was now the Vampire Queen, and the second was that the fact that Eidenel was the Vampire Queen was enough to kill Alpha Oliver.
