Alpha Michael

''Alpha! Alpha, we are in trouble...'' the werewolves who had accompanied Mr. Daryl to the dragon kingdom and had managed to escape the dragon attack, ran back to inform the Alpha of the Sudden Fang Pack about what they saw.

Alpha Oliver's father was already old enough to hand over the position of being Alpha to his son, so he was not active in the physical tasks that the pack had to take place in, and that was why he had sent Oliver in training so that he could hand over soon enough.

''Trouble? How? What has happened?'' Alpha Oliver's father asked.

The werewolves exchanged glances among themselves, not knowing how to communicate their message to the Alpha.

''We are coming from the dragon kingdom...'' One of the werewolves started to say.

The Alpha's eyes shone in anticipation of what they wanted to say to him.

''What took you there?'' He asked, looking around.

''Where is Daryl? That's true, I have not seen him around the pack in a while. Did he also go to the Dragon Kingdom?'' The Alpha asked.

At that point, the wolves all became sober because of the bad news that they were about to tell the Alpha.

''Alpha, we lost Daryl...'' The spokesman of the wolves broke the news instantly and without mincing words.

Alpha Oliver's father stood at a spot, staring in shock.

''I beg your pardon?'' He eventually said.

''We lost Daryl, Alpha. Daryl is dead.'' The werewolf reported clearly.

The Alpha of the Sudden Fang pack felt an icy feeling down his spine. His best warrior, the leader of the werewolf warriors of the Sudden Fang Pack had died. Interesting.

''Where's my son? Where's Oliver?'' The Alpha asked.

''That's the problem, Alpha. It was Oliver who led the dragons to steal the girl from us. Daryl was right. We met Oliver at the Dragon Kingdom, frolicking with the King in a friendly manner. We left him there, Alpha. He's friends with the Dragon King.'' The werewolf reported.

''Daryl traced my son to the Dragon Kingdom and went there to attack him. The dragons would think that my son deliberately led Daryl to them.'' Alpha of the Sudden Fang Pack knew that his son was in danger.

The surviving wolves looked at themselves in confusion.

''We didn't think of it that way, Alpha, but you may be right.'' One of them had to agree that the Alpha made sense. The Dragon King would definitely think that Oliver led them to the Dargon Kingdom to steal Eidenel.

''Oh, moon goddess, help me. What has Daryl done? And now he's dead. This was the same death he was trying to avoid all in the name of ''the girl is cursed and the girl will endanger all of us. Now look at it. There is no danger anywhere, yet he is the person who has lost his life and put my son and the pack in danger with the dragons.' Alpha of the Sudden Fang Pack could not overemphasize the grave mistake that Daryl had caused.

''You have to take me to the Dragon Kingdom.'' Alpha Oliver's father told the wolves that had brought the message to him.

''Alpha...'' The others started to complain. They were afraid.

''They will roast us as soon as they see us. We barely made it out alive. Alpha, please, don't make us go back there.'' Alpha Oliver's father shook his head while others were begging him.

''What are you saying? I should leave my son there? I can put it to you that Oliver has been arrested. That is what I would do if I were in the Dragon King's shoes, so you have to take me back there.'' Alpha of Sudden Fang Pack repeated and went in to get dressed.

''Let's go.'' He led the way out of the territory while others timidly followed behind him.

''Alpha, I suggest that we go in through the main entrance of the Kingdom. Daryl led us in through a backdoor, and I am sure that if we enter through the back dooe again, we will be killed. Nobody would listen to us if we claim to have been there peacefully.'' The other wolves told Alpha Oliver's father.

''Very well. No problem with that, as long as we make it to the Dragon Kingdom, we can walk in through the front door and ask to see the King.'' Alpha Oliver's father said to his followers.

Within a short while, the pack arrived at the entrance of the Dragon Kingdom.

''Is there a war going on here? Don't tell me that this place got destroyed like this because of Daryl?'' Alpha of Sudden Fang Pack was surprised to see the state of the Dragon Kingdom.

''Alpha, there is a lot that the cursed girl has caused on this Kingdom and other Kingdoms in the underworld, but Daryl did not cause this. We fought with only two dragons; the King, and his hand.'' Alpha Oliver's men said.

''You lot again? You are not even afraid!'' Bernard struck one of the werewolves and he landed on the floor with a whimper that made Bernard understand quickly that the werewolves were not there to fight.

''What brings you back here after what you have done?'' Bernard asked.

''We mean no harm, my friend.'' Alpha Oliver's father spoke up immediately.

Bernard looked at the older man and realized that he had never seen that face before since the chaos with Eidenel started.

''And you are?'' Bernard asked.

''Alpha Oliver's father. My name is Michael.'' Alpha Michael took a corteous bow in front of Bernard.

Bernard's countenance changed instantly to acceptance.

''Wow. I see. Your son is a good man, that's why I can afford to listen to you.'' Bernard replied, eyeing the other wolves that had been there before to cause havoc.

''Is my son here?'' Alpha Michael asked.

Bernard looked wary at first, and then he nodded.

''Yes. Yes, your son is here.'' Bernard looked at Alpha Michael with a straight face, and Alpha Michael instantly knew tha indeed, Oliver had been arrested.
