The Spirit And Ancestors Agree
''Spirit...'' Lord Blackhouse went to the sacred temple of the Vampires to seek the face of the ancestors concerning what he was going to do next.
''Spirit?'' Lord Blackhouse looked around, searching for the mediator between the vampires alive and their ancestors before them.
''I kmow why you are here...'' The familiar voice of Spirit could be heard in the temple, but Spirit could not be seen by Lord Blackhouse.
Lord Blackhouse looked around with a sober reflection while Spirit appeared before him.
''Happy married life, Lord Blackhouse.'' Spirit's aura was humble and gentle around the Vampire King, which made Lord Blackhouse ease into the companion of the ancestors.
''Thank... Thank you...'' Lord Blackhouse hoped that Spirit was not being sarcastic with him.
''You have come to inform me about your next step. A Queen for the Kingdom, isn't it?'' Spirit flashed a slight grin in front of Lord Blackhouse as he spoke.
''Spirit, tell me if the ancestors will release their blessings on me and my Queen.'' Lord Blackhouse understood that what he wanted to do with Eidenel was sacred, and that if he did not have the blessings of the ancestors, he might end up like Dracula. Exiled. Of course, he didn't want that, so he came to seek the face of the ancestors.
Spirit smiled.
''You have done well to come to the gods first, my King.'' Spirit showed Lord Blackhouse to a stool in the temple where Lord Blackhouse would seat and wait for the mediation between Spirit and the ancestors to guide him on his next step.
''Where's the girl?'' Spirit asked while he entered into a solemn mood.
Lord Blackhouse raised his eyes with urgency.
''Should I have brought her?'' He asked.
''It's not compulsory for you to have brought her, but it would have been more dynamic...''
''I can send for her...'' Lord Blackhouse interrupted Spirit.
''Don't mind me. I just wanted to see the face of our next Queen...'' Spirit said to Lord Blackhouse with a friendly tone.
Lord Blackhouse' face became bright as the sun.
''You mean, I can go ahead and make her the Queen? Have the ancestors agreed so soon?'' Lord Blackhouse could not believe his ears at that point.
''The ancestors agreed with you from the day she walked into the Kingdom. The ancestors led her to you by themselves, My Lord...'' Spirit was happy to break an exciting news to Lord Blackhouse who could not contain his joy.
So he would not end up like Dracula after all, no wonder it was so easy for him to apprehend Dracula, it wa sthe because the ancestors were with him. They had his back.
''I don't mean to insult your intelligence, My Lord, but I trust you to cross the girl to a Vampire before the installation...'' Spirit peeped at Lord Blackhouse, hoping that he had thought about that before opting to make Eidenel the Queen of the Vampire Kingdom.
If Eidenel became the Queen while she was a pure werewolf, whoever her mate was in the werewolf territory could come and lay claims to the Vampire Kingdom, and that would be more than appaling.
''Of course, Spirit. I will cross her first.'' Lord Blackhouse was too excited to notice any form of insult to his intelligence. All he knew was that his desires had come to pass.
Lord Blckhouse returned to the his coven, excited for what he had confirmed from Spirit.
''The ancestors have given me the go ahead to make Eidenel the Queen.'' Lord Blackhouse was like a child who had won at a game that he was known to always fail at.
Steven was happy to hear that. At least he won't live the rest of his life in the vampire kingdom, looking over his shoulder.
''So, is there another reason to celebrate in the Kingdom already? You just got married to the love of your life and the kingdom is yet to recover from the ecstacy of the marriage. Should I announce that plans are in place for the installation of a Queen?'' Steven was teasing Lord Blackhouse just to see his reaction.
Lord Blackhouse nodded intensely.
''Yes. Yes, go ahead and tell them that.'' Lord Blackhouse was excited.
Steven smiled and then looked at Lord Blackhouse carefully.
''The crossing, My Lord. Do you think the girl would agree to become a vamp? I mean, she might resist it. Have you thought about that?'' Steven asked.
Lord Blackhouse' face quickly darkened.
''What is wrong with you? Why don't you leave that to me? How is that your business? Must you spil my good mood with anxiety? Get out! Go and prepare for the installation while I do the business that concerns me.'' Lord Blackhouse chased Steven away from his coven and slammed the door against him.
Eidenel was in the inner chambers of the coven of the Vampire King, and somehow, she appeared pleased to be there as she had started to grow really fond of Lord Blackhouse.
''My Queen...'' Lord Blackhouse called Eidenel.
Eidenel rolled her eyes.
''I'm a werewolf. For the hundredth time, I am a werewolf.'' Eidenel said without sparing Lord Blackhouse a look.
''Yes, but you are about to become a Vamp like your husband.'' Lord Blackhouse broke the news to Eidenel at once.
Eidenel paused what she was doing and raised her head to look at the Vampire King, Lord Blackhouse.
''I beg your pardon?'' She asked.
Lord Blackhouse swallowed hard.
''I want to turn you into a vampire right now.''
