Chapter 14

Selina started noticing that she wasn't familiar to the route Felix was taking her through so she turned and asked him, “Where are we going? I don't know this road.”

Felix smiled and replied “Don't worry, I'm not kidnapping you. There's a place down here that I'm taking you to.”

Selina nodded. “Okay. But whereever you're taking me to, I'll pay for our meals.” She turned and faced him again, “My way of saying thankyou for everything you've helped me for.”

Felix laughed. “You're cute when you don't even try to be.” The comment made Selina blush. “Don't worry”, he continued, “It's my treat. My own way of saying I like you.” He told her with a wink.

Selina's heart started racing as she blushed so hard, her whole face turned red. "Well, in that case, thank you," she murmured, her cheeks flushing pink as she met his gaze. The tension in the car started again but Felix disagreed on it and decided to change it.

“I might be travelling abroad soon, like probably this weekend or next week. I have a business meeting that needs me to attend to it urgently.” Felix said sadly. He would actually miss her, deeply, more than she ever knew.

Selina's heart sank at the thought of Felix leaving, a pang of disappointment coursing through her. "I'll miss you if you go," she admitted softly, her voice barely above a whisper as she looked at him.

Felix's eyes softened at her words, a hint of vulnerability shining through. "I'll miss you too, Selina," he replied sincerely, his voice filled with genuine warmth.

Selina realised that she actually did like him too and she would miss him terribly. As they continued to talk, Selina found herself drawn to Felix's magnetic presence, her attraction to him growing stronger with each passing moment. She couldn't help but feel a sense of longing as she fantasized about the possibility of pursuing him, her mind spinning with endless possibilities.

As they reached the location, Selina was in awe of its beauty just from the outside. “This place is beautiful” she commented.

Felix nodded. “One of my investments” making Selina roll her eyes. “Obviously it'll be something you would invest in.” She muttered quietly.

Inside the car, the atmosphere was charged with tension as the distance between Selina and Felix seemed to shrink to just an arm's length. Selina's heart raced with fear and apprehension, her mind swirling with a flurry of emotions as she felt Felix's sudden proximity.

As Felix leaned in closer, Selina's breath caught in her throat, her cheeks flushing with heat as she struggled to maintain her composure. She couldn't shake the feeling of vulnerability that washed over her, a sense of unease creeping into her mind as she worried that Felix will know exactly how she's feeling towards him.

Just as Selina felt herself teetering on the edge of panic, there's a knock on the car window. Selina turned to see who her saviour was and was more surprised to see it was her friend, Simon.

"Simon, what are you doing here?" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with surprise as she stepped out of the car and greeted her friend with a warm smile.

Simon returned her smile, oblivious to the darkness and jealousy simmering in Felix's eyes. "I was in the neighborhood and I thought I saw you inside the car so I decided to come and say hi," he replied casually, his tone light and cheerful.

Selina smiled warmly, “that's so nice. I'm here with Felix. We came here to eat.”

Immediately she finished talking, Felix stepped out of the car and walked towards Selina, his mood rough. He whispered into her ears “We'll be late for our reservation” while staring at Simon.

Simon who was scared of Felix couldn't look at his eyes put of fear and he didn't even want to be around there any longer, so he said “Selina, it was lovely seeing you once more.i have to go.” And he left before Selina could even say bye.

Selina wondered what's up with her friend and why he rushed out to go. Felix ushered her inside.

The villa where they dined was a breathtaking retreat nestled amidst lush greenery, its elegant facade bathed in the warm glow of soft lights. Surrounded by towering palm trees and vibrant flowers, the villa exuded an air of luxury and opulence, with its expansive verandas offering sweeping views of the tranquil landscape.

The interior design of the property was equally stunning, featuring sophisticated furnishings and fine touches that accentuated its sophistication and attractiveness. Every element of the property radiated elegance and refinement, from the glistening chandeliers to the cozy seating sections, making it the ideal venue for a private meal.

Selina was hooked on its beauty, its elegance. “This place is truly breathtaking” she told Felix. Felix just smiled and nodded.

As they sat down to dinner at the luxurious villa, Felix's gaze never wavered from Selina, his interest in her every move palpable. "Selina, I must say, you look absolutely stunning tonight," he remarked, his voice smooth and flattering as he watched her closely.

Selina smiled shyly, feeling a flush of warmth spread across her cheeks at Felix's compliment. "Thank you, Felix," she replied softly, her voice tinged with gratitude. "You look quite handsome yourself."

Throughout the meal, Felix continued to engage Selina in conversation, his charm and charisma captivating her with each passing moment. "Tell me, Selina, what are your dreams and aspirations?" he asked, his eyes shining with genuine curiosity as he leaned in closer.

Selina's heart fluttered at the intensity of Felix's gaze, her cheeks flushing with excitement as she shared her hopes for the future. "I've always dreamed of traveling the world and experiencing new cultures," she admitted, her voice filled with enthusiasm. "And maybe one day, I'll have my own jewelry design studio."

Felix nodded, his expression thoughtful as he listened intently to Selina's words. "That sounds like a wonderful dream, Selina," he replied, his voice filled with admiration. "I have no doubt that you'll achieve great things."

After dinner, as they made their way back to Selina's home, Felix surprised her with a brand new phone. "I know how much you rely on your phone, Selina," he explained, his tone gentle as he handed her the sleek device. "Consider it a gift from me to you."

Selina's eyes widened in surprise as she accepted the phone, her heart filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Felix," she said softly, her voice filled with genuine appreciation. "You didn't have to do this."

Felix smiled warmly, his gaze lingering on Selina's face. "It's my pleasure, Selina," he replied, his voice tinged with sincerity. "I just want to make sure you're taken care of."

Unbeknownst to Selina, Felix had secretly installed a tracking feature on the phone, his desire to control and possess her growing stronger with each passing moment. And as they parted ways for the night, Felix couldn't help but feel relieved as they said their goodbyes for the evening, thinking that he could finally start watching Selina because he now had her under control..
