Mating Ceremony
Mating Ceremony
Stormy POV
“So, this is what a mating ceremony looks like,” I said.
Alex took my hand. “Are you taking notes for ours?”
I grinned. “Possibly.”
The answer would be yes if he asked me to marry him.
Alex took my hand and brought it to his lips.
“Nervous?” I asked.
“No…”
“It’s your first outing as the Alpha lord. You’re a legend from what I hear,” I teased.
He didn’t like all the responsibility that came with being the moon goddesses representative. Especially, having to keep Gareth in check.
“I’m still the same old guy. Nothing’s changed.”
I nodded and kept walking.
“Okay, now I have an awesome mate by my side. I wouldn’t trade you for a thing.”
He saved my life. He was this way because he couldn’t let me go.
When Ivan grabbed me I was too busy looking for something sharp enough to cut my hand open so I could make Gareth drink my blood. I didn’t see him coming and he grabbed me.
Despite the fact that I was bleeding out I managed to get drops of my blood on top Gareth’s tongue.
Since he woke up the pack has reported some disturbing things like crops dying early and unusual shifting cycles.
“Wow, there’s so many people,” I hissed.
Alex squeezed my hand. “Of course. The whole pack shows up for mating ceremonies. This is the alpha’s mating ceremony. It’s even bigger. Alphas come from all over to witness it. Besides, I think a lot of us have been invested in Tristan and Emery’s antics.”
“Really?” I tilted my head to the side.
Alex smirked. “Yeah. I see no sign of his ex-mate, Jade so this should be an uneventful ceremony.”
Alex and my seats were reserved near the front of the stage.
“Uneventful, huh?” I whispered.
Emery hadn’t come out yet. Tristan stood in front of the pack and visitors besides a man I assumed was his father.
Alex rubbed my thigh and whispered in my ear. “Do you want to make things eventful?”
“What do you mean, Alpha Alex?” I battled to hide my smirk.
“We don’t have to stay for the entire ceremony, Stormy,” he said and kissed my arm.
“You’re in a naughty mood today,” I observed.
He squeezed my thigh. “I just want you, Hurricane.”
The ceremony took place at the pack house, Alex told me it was tradition for it to happen that way. The woman in our case the Luna was being prepared by the former Luna, her mother and the pack’s elderly women.
It was so wholesome. It was even more wholesome because this was technically my pack too and I got to see their traditions.
Someone slipped onto the seat next to me and exhaled deeply.
I turned. “Gabbie?”
She fanned herself with a flier. “Stormy. You guys made it!”
“Wouldn’t miss this,” Alex commented.
Gabbie smiled at me. “It’s really good to see you. We didn’t get to talk after everything happened with Gareth and all.”
“I understand. You have a family and pack to run.”
Her features sagged. “I’m sorry about him… I just— He attacked Leiah and.”
I cupped her hand. “Don’t apologize. Salazar was not my father.”
Salazar didn’t survive Gabbie’s attack. It was for the best.
“How is Leiah?” I asked.
Gabbie sighed. “It’s been rough. She came, but she’s not the same.”
Leiah was a bad ass, Alpha female. She’d pull through, I hoped.
Tristan stopped pacing and stood at attention. The crowd turned their heads.
“Oh, here she comes,” Gabbie squealed. “Reminds me of my ceremony.”
Emery walked out of pack house, wearing a body hugging white gown, carrying a bouquet of colourful water lilies.
I rose as everyone else stood to welcome the incoming Luna.
My heart swelled. She deserved this.
By the time Emery got to the front she had tears in her eyes. How could I not cry after seeing that?
Alex took my hand. “Don’t cry, babe.”
“It’s so hard.”
He chuckled.
“Well, Emery has arrived. Before we begin I’d like to know if anyone opposes this union. Speak now or forever hold your peace,” Tristan’s father said.
I held my breath, waiting for someone to explode from the crowd. After a few seconds I breathed a sigh of relief.
Not a single person spoke.
“That was perfect,” I said.
“It just had to end this way. I really would have kicked Tristan’s ass if he married Jade,” Gabbie said.
I threw my head back and laughed.
“Mommy!” A little boy flew into her arms.
“Dane!” Gabbie said, picking him up and placing him on her lap.
Another boy, slightly older than Dane walked up to her.
“I’m hungry,” he said.
“Me too, Mommy,” Dane.
Gabbie sighed. “Of course you are.”
Kade appeared behind them, carefully carrying a baby girl with the same green eyes as her mother. The baby was draped in pink clothes and clung to her father’s protective embrace.
“Is that your daughter?” I asked softly.
Gabbie turned to me and smile. “Yes, that’s Andrea.”
“She’s hungry too,” Kade said.
Andrea’s little face twisted before she started crying.
“That’s where I get up and tend to her commands,” Gabbie said. “I’ll catch up to you later,” she said.
“Sure.”
Her family was so precious. My heart craved that.
A hand landed on my shoulder. I turned to see Alex carrying two glasses of Champaign.
“How about we talk about making this ceremony more eventful?”
“What are you up to, Alex?”
He chuckled. “Nothing, come on.”
I followed his lead. He took me into the pack house while our newly married Alpha and Luna mingled with the crowd.
“What are we doing in here? We should we out there with everyone else.”
“These things go on until midnight. We have plenty of time to mingle.”
I followed him upstairs. The house was quiet. Everyone was outside.
Alex turned the doorknob to the first door he came across.
“It’s locked,” Alex said.
“Don’t worry about it, mate.”
I winked and dug into my hair for a pin.
“I don’t want to get arrested for breaking and entering, Hurricane.”
“You’re the one who wanted to spice things up, Alpha. Here!”
I jammed the pin into the thin key hole.
Alex watched idly while I picked the lock.
“Got it,” I said, pushing the door open. “Let’s play, Alpha.”
I stumbled into the room. He yanked me to his chest and kicked the door shut.
“I want you,” he said, his wolf flashed in his eyes.
“What do you want?” I grabbed his belt buckle and pulled.
“Hurricane,” he breathed out.
“I think I know.”
I slipped to my knees, keeping my eyes on him. His gaze burned with desire.
I unbuckled his belt and freed his thick throbbing member.
“I’ve been thinking about your hands on my cock all day,” Alex groaned.
I kissed the tip of his cock as I stroked him.
Alex pressed his thumb on my lip and urged me to open up for him.
We locked eyes for a second before he rolled his member into my mouth. My lips closed around him and he groaned with pleasure.
“That’s my Hurricane.”
I pumped and stroked him with strict dedication. “Yes, fuck,” Alex groaned.
He gripped my hair as he continued to fuck my face. I loved watching being pleasured and lose himself in the ecstasy.
My body buzzed with excitement and need.
The nagging feeling in the back of my head told me someone would barge in on us. I didn’t care though!
“Babe,” Alex groaned.
I knew he was on the verge of his climax. He pulled me off him just before he exploded. He yanked me off the ground and closed his lips on mine.
I got to taste him twice.
“Stormy,” he murmured against kisses.
“Yeah?”
“Will you marry me?”
I broke the kiss. “What?”
