Chapter 118

Ryan's POV

Tasha murmuring and shifting of movement woke me up from sleep, I sat upright and looked at her, sweat trickled from her forehead, her hands tightened on the bed spread tightly.

She was having a nightmare.

"Tasha!" I shook her body but her eyes remained shut.

"Tasha!" I pulled her body up with a powerful force.

Her eyes fluttered open, she blinked a couple times her eyes roamed around the room before landing on me.

"Ryan?" Her voice was hoarse.

"You were having a nightmare." I placed my hands on her forehead to check her temperature.

"I'm…thirsty." She held her head.

I stood up from the bed and went to the table fridge to get her water.

"Here." I gave her the glass.

She took it and drank it, I took the glass from her and placed it back before returning to her side. I helped her pack her hair up since her hair was scattered all over face.

"It's the dream about that man again." She sighed deeply.

"The same one?" I asked and she nodded.

I thought the dream was about Gabriel but I was wrong.

"What if it happens in reality?" She suddenly asked.

I finished packing her hair and then pulled her to face me, her brows shot up and she bit her lips nervously.

"It won't, and if it happens we will win." I assured her and pulled her into an embrace.

I don't like the fact that there was still some evil person out there, I have had enough of Gabriel now, an evil one.

"Tasha." I called softly and she hummed.

"Did your mom describe who this person was?"

"No, she said she doesn't know the person, the only thing she was sure of was that the person was close."

Then we can't trust anyone. We have to be on the lookout. Tasha tapped me and I turned to look at her.

"Have you thought of what you want to do with the Silver Claw members?"

"Not yet." I replied.

"Do you have anything in mind?" I asked.

"I was thinking if it's possible for you to take them as your people most of them don't have a place to go to."

"Are you sure that will mean I have to mark them?" I arched my eyebrows.

"I'm sure they will be glad if you can make them the offer Ryan." She said more in a pleading tone.

I contemplated it, merging the pack will mean more members making the pack larger and also we would have to work on the economy.

"So?"

"Okay then we will do it but only with those who are willing for me to be their Alpha." I told her.

"I am starting training with Elsa this morning." She stood up from behind.

"You aren't going to bed again?" I asked her when I saw her going to the bathroom.

"I can't sleep again. I'm afraid I'll have the strange dream again." She answered before shutting the door.

I sighed and slumped on the bed. I stared at the ceiling before dozing off.

**

"Alpha, they are gathered already." Connor walked Inside my office.

I paused the screen that was on display and looked at him, I had ordered for him to bring the Silver Claw members those that are willing to submit to

my rule and pledge their loyalty to me.

Those whose mantra will be loyalty and faithfulness.

"What do you think about all of this?" I asked him.

"It's the best thing you can do for the people, most of the Alpha wouldn't do this." A smile crept on his face.

"It wasn't my idea." I stood up. "It was Tasha's idea, let's go." I stood up.

I walked Into the hall Connor walked behind me as I climbed the podium. The people weren't much in number they weren't up to a thousand number, I sighed in relief knowing the Initiation won't take forever.

Connor came forward and led the people to take the oath before I gave them the pack mark.

"We now belong to the Storm Pack, we take Alpha Ryan as our Alpha and we swear to give all our all, our resources, our time and our life to the pack. As from today we cease to be Silver Claw members!" Connor read and ordered them to

say it.

"We now belong to the Storm Pack, we take Alpha Ryan as our Alpha and we swear to give all our all, our resources, our time and our life to the pack. As from today we cease to be Silver Claw members!" They said in unison.

Connor turned to me and I nodded for him to allow them to step forward.

They all took turns and I marked them in their arms. Teresa and Irene were also among the people.

After the initiation they all cheered excitedly, I went back to the podium to address them.

"Welcome aboard new members of Storm Pack, I'm happy to have you and I also promise to serve you why? Because leaders are meant to serve. And I can assure you that you are making the right decision and you won't regret having me as your Alpha!" They clapped excitedly at my words.

"Alpha Ryan!" I heard someone call after I left.

Connor and I turned around and we saw Irene and Teresa approaching us. Connor looked at my face asking if it was okay and I nodded.

They are family.

"Irene, Teresa." I greeted them when they bowed.

"Thank you for this opportunity Alpha Ryan." Teresa greeted me.

"Thank you for clearing the hospital bills Alpha, with everything my family had done to your mate it's shocking to see that you took care of us." Teresa added and I smiled.

Tasha had forgiven them. I have no reason to hold grudges.

"You are welcome, my Beta and Gamma will make sure all of you get what you need, jobs will be provided so you don't have to worry." I assured them.

Their eyes widened and they fell to the ground and bowed in gratitude.

"You can stand, it's no big deal it just a normal provision for pack members."" I told them.

Connor then helped them rise to their feet.

"Thank you Alpha." They said again.

"Um.. Alpha, can I pay a visit to Natasha?" Irene asked.

"Of course, the pack house is open to the family." I told them.
