Chapter 119

Natasha's POV

"How on earth is this even working?" I whined as my legs were crossed in a meditating pose.

I had started training with Elsa. I had in mind that what she was going to teach me today was going to be awesome but I was wrong.

Elsa made me pose like a monk for hours, the only instructions she gave me was breathing in and breathing out.

How will that help me defeat the dark one?

"I give up!" I stood up, my hands folded together.

She rolled her eyes and stood up from the mat, she marched to my side and nudged me gently.

"All you have to do is to go with the flow my lady." She smiled and I shook her head.

"C'MON!" I paced around. "You don't get it do you?" I stopped and marched to her side, I shook her by the shoulder.

"I just told you I have an evil force to defeat shouldn't I be able to tear down mountains by now, we have been here for hours." I pouted, my stomach grumbled in agreement.

I hadn't seen Jayden all day either.

Elsa stared at me as if I had grown two heads, she scrunched her temple before coming to where I stood.

"I'm afraid I will have to drop all honorifics." She said in a stern tone.

"What do you mean-"

"Get back to your mat now!" She ordered and I gasped.

Elsa turned around and went back to her mat leaving me with a 'What the heck' expression.

I watched her sit and start humming as she breathed in and out.

"I won't repeat myself Natasha." She said and I scoffed.

I went back to crossing my legs angrily throwing a death glare before shutting my eyes and started breathing in and out.

"Breathe in and out Natasha, we are doing this because you have to learn to control your emotions." She said in a calm voice this time.

I opened one of my eyes to see her before shutting it and concentrating like she advised.

Natasha Breathe in and out.

Learn to control my emotions.

I did as Elsa instructed. I didn't know for how long but my mind opened it was like a portal. I felt at ease the only thing I could hear was my heartbeat and Elsa's.

The sound of our heartbeat was in a steady pace, a rhythm that I couldn't really place a finger on.

"Do you hear that Natasha?" Elsa asked in a soft voice.

"Yeah." I whispered.

"Now focus on hearing your veins and how your blood flows through the bloodstream." She Instructed.

I focused on what she told me, my ears widened, I focused on calming my breathing. I heard the flow of blood through my nerves, it was incredible I almost opened my eyes to shout.

"It's…incredible." I whispered as I tried focusing on listening more to my bloodstream.

There was a loud bang disrupting Elsa and I session. I stood up in anger about to lash out on whoever barged in but melted when I saw Lisa carrying Jayden with swollen eyes.

"Please." I turned to Elsa.

She stood up from her mat at once and I thought she wouldn't let me go but was surprised when I found out she was as tired as I was.

"Yeah I'm tired too." She folded the mats hurriedly.

I took Jayden from Lisa arms, we got out of the training room and I screeched in horror.

"It's dark!!" I yelled and Lisa chuckled.

"Well I wanted to drag you out of the room myself but Dante stopped me." Elsa told me.

"Is Ryan back?" I asked her and she nodded.

"What! And he didn't come to get me." I frowned.

"Well Alpha Ryan understands training principles." Elsa shrugged and rolled her eyes.

I gnawed at her before leaving them to feed Jayden. Ryan was in Jayden's room when I entered. He probably came to check on his son before sleeping. I shut the door gently and walked inside, he came forward and pecked me in my cheek.

"How was the training?" He asked me as soon as I took my seat.

"Well…" "It wasn't what I expected." I chuckled remembering how I had lash out on Elsa for her teachings.

"Baby.. son.. come here." Ryan took Jayden from me after I was done feeding him.

"You just have to give yourself time." Ryan said. "I'm hungry, I've been waiting for you to come out of the training room."

"My bad, let me take a shower. I'll join you downstairs." I stood up and rushed to our room.

The dining room was set when I finished, I went to sit next to Ryan, everyone was seated too except Xavier who was still not awake.

"So someone went out clubbing and broke someone's nose." Dante sang and we all raised our heads to look at him.

Ryan looked at me and I motioned that I wasn't the one, I looked at Lisa and saw that she hid her face with her hair.

She was the one.

"Just got to the chase man." Liam retorted as he pulled the bowl of chicken now to his own side.

"Can't you at least observe table manners?" Lisa glared at Dante.

Dante dropped his cutleries and gnawed at her, his eyes looking everywhere before landing on Lisa. He stared at her, his face had the expression that he was hurt.

"Why on earth will you go clubbing Lisa!" He yelled at her making him earn a frown from her.

"Can't you…do…this…some other time?" Elsa chuckled nervously.

"Don't act innocent, you went with her also!!" Dante snapped at her.

"You did what!!" Connor growled.

Ryan, Liam and I looked at each other. We were confused about the scenario that was playing in front of us.
