Kyde woke up to sparks slowly running up and down her arms, her stomach making their way down to her honey pot. Dakota kissed along her jaw line down, her neck and further. “C’mon, handsome,” she turned in his arms to face him. “We need to leave for the palace in less than an hour. We may get lucky and still be able to get some food as long as Kruz hasn’t eaten everything.” she chuckled.

“Not to worry, my sweet Peach. I have the hook up.” Dakota shrugged.

“You have the hook up?” She raised a brow at him.

“Yeah.” He smiled, as he held her hand as they made their way to the dining room.

They walked into the dining room and Kyde couldn’t help but bust out laughing. “Is this what you meant by you having the hook up?” She asked between fits of giggles.

Kruz was tied down to his seat not being able to move any part of his arms or legs. “C’mon let me go,” he whined. “I promise I won’t get seconds until after everyone has served themselves.” He vowed.

“Who did this?” Kyde asked between small snorts. No one spoke up but she spotted Kolby and Keane smiling and snickering with each other. “Never mind, I, think, I know who was behind all this.” She chuckled. She and Dakota served themselves their plates and added a little extra to their plates. “Okay, go ahead and untie him and let him go.” She continued to snicker to herself.

Everybody just looked at each other and chuckled. “Okay, I’ll let you go but don’t go eating everything until everyone has had their fill.” Hunter warned in laughter as he loosened Kruz’s ropes.

“Damn babe, how could you?” Kruz pouted. “I expect it from Kolby, Kasper and even Kyde but not from you.”

“I did nothing. I have no idea what you are talking about.” Kolby gasped. “How could you even suggest that I would do something so horrible to my loving big brother.” She feigned hurt.

“Yeah, whatever.” Kruz said rolling his eyes at his little sister, as he got up and served himself his plate. His family just sat eating and chuckling at him. “Fuckers!” He mumbled, making everyone laugh even harder.

“Awe baby, you know we love you.” Keane cooed at her mate wrapping her arms around his waist. He snorted and pushed away from her.

“Alright, let’s leave TweedleDumb alone. We all know he’s a growing boy and needs his nourishment.” Dakota lightly chuckled. “We need to be at the palace at 9:30 so, let’s go ahead and eat, we don’t want to be late.” He said, trying not to laugh. They continued with their breakfast and kept teasing Kruz. He knew it was all in good fun and knew that they all loved him.

As they finished breakfast, Vic, Mimi and Babaloo made their way in through the back door. “Hey guys!” Mimi happily chirped walking in.

Kydence narrowed her eyes at her friend, “why are you so happy this morning? Did you scare the new recruits? Dammitt Mimi! Did you murder Vic and/or Babaloo? Where did you hide their bodies? You know I probably can’t hide this?” Kyde teased.

Mimi made a face at her Alpha and her friend pointing behind her, “look they’re right there.” She motioned to her stupid twin brother and big dumb bear of a mate. “I haven’t killed them…yet. It’s still early.” She huffed. “But if they keep their shit up, I can’t promise that I won’t and then I will need to hide the bodies and make it look like an accident.” She snickered.

“As crazy as I am about you,” Babaloo said holding Mimi’s gaze, “you scare the shit outta me.” he said with a chuckle and kissed the tip of her nose.

“As you should be, you’re my big dumb stinky bear after all.” She smirked, booping his nose and snickered.

“Well, this is cute.” Kyde smirked. Mimi glared at her friend. “Mimi, just admit that you’ve accepted Babaloo as your mate and that you’re crazy about him. It would make things so much easier for all of us.” Kyde sighed. “You know you’ve fallen for him. Just admit it.

Mimi gasped, “you want me,” she said placing her hand over her heart, “to accept this big dumb stinky bear as my mate?” She looked at Babaloo, huffed and rolled her eyes.

Babaloo didn’t need her to say it. He knew she’d accepted him, and he was going at her pace. “Alpha...”

“Babaloo, please how many times do I hafta tell you to call me Kyde.” She reminded him.

“Sorry...Kyde.” He smiled. “I want to say that I know she’s accepted me and that’s all I need.” He said, as he lovingly looked at his mate.

“There you see,” Mimi said, “he knows that I accept him.” she said, looking at everything but her mate. “There! Is everyone happy now?” she huffed.

“Well, I guess that’s it then.” Kyde smiled.
