Chapter 177 CHAOS IN THE HOSTEL
Chapter 177 CHAOS IN THE HOSTEL
SIENNA
After spending one week with Leo, I decided to reach out to my friends, Lana and Mallory.
The semester had not ended yet. They should be preparing for their exams by now.
I missed school so much. I missed lectures and general school life.
Leo said I could continue at another university after the year runs out.
I insisted on staying with my former institute, but he considered several other factors, particularly my safety and overall well-being.
For now, Leo isn't as influential as he used to be. He lost everything—literally everything—to the overwhelming storm of the previous months.
He begged me to be patient with him and give him some time to get back on his feet again.
I understand the situation quite well. Life might be very unfair to him right now, but I still trust and believe in what tomorrow holds for us.
The most important thing is that we are finally together. Not hiding from the world or my family.
For a long time, I had desired that freedom. To be with the one I love.
That fateful Tuesday afternoon, I told Leo I wanted to visit my friends at the hostel.
I couldn't contact them before now because I had no phone. But after I arrived here a few days ago, Leo got me an iPhone and a new SIM card.
At first, when I told him I wanted to visit my friends, he wasn't particularly pleased about it.
I pleaded with him, assuring him that I would be careful and stay away from trouble.
Leo reluctantly agreed but instructed his driver, Jones, to take me there, countering my plans to drive to the hostel alone.
I kissed him all over and headed to the hostel with Mr. Jones.
Goosebumps spread all over my skin. I was going to see my friends after such a long time.
Both girls would be overly excited to see me. A whole day wouldn't be enough to talk about all the things that had happened.
No. Twenty-four hours would still be too short for us.
About an hour later, Jones pulled over and stopped at the gate of the hostel.
It was difficult getting through the gates, especially because we had no prior approval from either of my friends.
While I waited in the car, Jones stood outside with the security officers, prolonging an issue that seemed to have no end.
They couldn't just let us pass through. So I had to step out of the car and explain things to the officers myself.
I'm pretty sure they still remembered me very well.
The moment I stepped out of the car, one of the officers immediately recognized me.
"Miss Sienna Cruz," he called, surprise written all over his face.
The others turned toward me, and Jones sighed. He was already stressed.
"I'm sorry for the stress," I said to Mr. Jones before walking toward the security men.
He nodded and stepped back.
"Good day, Mr. Marcus," I greeted one of the security officers who knew me very well at the hostel. The other two were obviously new employees.
"What happened, Miss Cruz? It's been almost eight months now," he said.
I smiled.
He couldn't pretend not to know what had happened to me, although I had moved out of the hostel and into Leo's penthouse before the incident that tore us apart happened.
"Um, I decided to stay off campus for now, Mr. Marcus," I said with a smile.
Surprise filled his face.
"Oh, so do you still attend our institute?" he asked.
Jones immediately stepped in.
"Isn't that a ridiculous question to ask? Why? Do you think she dropped out of school? She's just staying off campus."
Anger filled Jones's voice.
We all shifted our gazes to him. Mr. Marcus suddenly ran out of words.
"Oh, so I guess you're here to see your friends, right?" Marcus asked.
"Yes, sir. I'm sorry I don't have my access card as a visitor."
"No, no. It's totally fine," he replied.
Not long after, we drove inside, heading toward the hostel.
The moment we arrived, I told Jones he could drive back home. I didn't want to keep him waiting.
Jones insisted on waiting for me.
I asked if he would wait for two hours, and he said it was fine as long as I kept to the time.
I excitedly stepped out of the car and headed toward my friends' room. I knocked on the door and heard a familiar voice from inside.
"Two seconds, please."
I recognized Mallory's voice instantly.
"It's me, Mallory!" I called out, my voice cracking with excitement.
My whole body vibrated with anticipation.
Mallory and Lana would scream the moment they saw me.
Exactly two seconds later, the door creaked open.
Mallory squealed in surprise and delight the moment she saw me standing there.
"Lana, Enna is here!" she shouted as she jumped on me.
We screamed together, our arms wrapped around each other.
Lana heard our voices and immediately rushed out from inside.
She jumped on us, hugging both Mallory and me at the same time.
"I can't believe this!" she shouted.
Both girls kept shrieking as though they had just seen their favorite celebrity.
We were so excited that we completely forgot we were disturbing the peace of other students living in the building.
The noise attracted many people. Some students even rushed toward the room, thinking we might be in danger.
Before Mallory could shut the door, some of the students had already seen me, especially the ones living in the hostel and my coursemates.
Little did we know that the entire corridor—and even our room—had become flooded with students.
"What a pleasant surprise," one said from the doorway.
"Isn't she the same pornstar from that office movie? Oh my gosh!" another student grinned.
Mallory, Lana, and I turned toward the voices.
"Yes, she's Sienna Cruz, the pornstar," another replied, and the others laughed.
"Excuse me," Lana stepped forward. "What's happening here?"
I lowered my face.
"Go to my bed," Mallory said to me, her eyes burning into the students.
I knew she was about to unleash hell on them.
Both Mallory and Lana were fighters.
I was the only calm girl among them.
"Can we speak to the pornstar?" another student asked.
"Are you out of your mind, Kimberly?" Lana snapped.
"Hey, guys, I live here on campus. Guess who came to the hostel today? Sienna the pornstar."
I overheard one student say it. Her voice was loud and clear even as the commotion escalated.
I guessed she was doing a live video.
"Put that freaking camera down!" I heard Mallory shout at the student recording.
I sighed.
It wasn't that I was still ashamed, as I had been before, or that I couldn't face the students.
I simply didn't have the energy to engage in long conversations.
"Who the hell invited you people here?" Lana snapped. "Leave immediately!”
The students didn't leave at once. They all were hungry for something. Something more than just this display of attention.
